Split enables us to setup experiments and get results fast, without much hassle
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's an easy-to-use testing tool for everyone to test big or small changes. What I also love about Split is how user-friendly it is. You don't need to know how to code to use it, and setting up an experiment is simple. The platform's reporting features are impressive, and the real-time data feature is great for ensuring that impressions are coming in. It's also very appreciated that it integrates with a variety of tools, making it easy to use with existing workflows. Overall, the tool enables developers and non-developers to make data-driven decisions in a smooth way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I as a developer feel hindered by the different access permissions even though I completely understand why they exist. Oftentimes, just waiting for Split approval is the slowest part of the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to test features to ensure that they move our metrics in a desired way. Split is solving that problem by easily assigning users different variants of a feature, and then allowing us to follow up on the metrics in the same tool.

Easy way to control features
What do you like best about the product?
I found an easy way to deploy continually and turn off the feature if needed, even just to a set of users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Filters should be improved, for example, filter by creation date or filter by last updated date (it should be helpful to find unnecessary feature flags because they have the same value for a long time).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Split allows us to quickly deploy and activate features when they're done, even being able to test the feature to only a subset of users.
Enterprise feature flagging and experimentation without extra baggage
What do you like best about the product?
Split has been instrumental in our push to true agile processes. The ability to divorce deployment from release via feature flags has had an outsized impact in our ability to deliver new products to market faster than our competitors. With the addition of configurations we can externalize values and settings in split directly allowing our product team to pivot quickly and make changes immediately. This combined with the ability to run experiments based on splits and the ability to schedule changes in any environment positions us to achieve results that our competitors can only hope to achieve.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using splits to manage code changes it can be hard to keep track of which splits are in what state in what environment. The ability to synchronize configurations from a parent environment to other environments would help make split an even better product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Split solves a multitude of problems that we did not have a solution for in our application. We can separate deployment from release, which is a tenant of high performing agile teams, we can rapidly control features and access to them, run experiments based on features, and adjust configuration on the fly without having to redeploy code.
Fluid, Consistent and Effective Testing
What do you like best about the product?
The most valuable part of using Split is the different testing types and customization the platform enables us to test as an organization. I'm not sure how it ranks among competitors, but our ability to customize and create events and measure precise metrics that vary from test to test allows us to align our testing with our company and product-specific OKR's.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve when first learning how to use and interpret the platform. We realized we needed to utilize our Split support team better and internal team leads to help us understand the metrics we were using to measure inside of Split and how we could begin testing different aspects of our product. Once everyone was onboard about how to use and access the platform - it was clear to see the value the product brings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a data-driven organization, therefore everything that we set out to do needs to be backed with data. We use Split to slowly release new features and test the waters to avoid creating problems for larger groups at the top of our sales funnel. We leverage Spilt early and often to test new business ideas and alternative design approaches to see if it there is significant cause for taking additional time to push certain concepts through compliance or to take on more risk than necessary.

Split.io is a powerful feature flagging and experimentation platform that offers a range of benefits to businesses and developers. One of the most helpful aspects of Split.io is its ability to streamline feature delivery and enable teams to move quickly and efficiently in testing and releasing new features. The platform's feature flagging functionality allows developers to easily turn features on or off, target specific user segments for testing, and monitor performance and impact, all from a single dashboard. This helps to reduce the risk of introducing bugs or other issues into production and enables teams to iterate and improve their features more rapidly. Additionally, Split.io's experimentation capabilities allow teams to test multiple variations of a feature simultaneously and make data-driven decisions about which version performs best. This can lead to more successful feature launches and increased user engagement, ultimately driving business growth and success.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you get the know the product with small learning curve things go smoothly. Pricing models are better now but were not always great for smaller startups

The console ui. Not that initiative and sometimes hard to find how to do things.

User-Friendly Interface for Easy Management of Splits and Segments
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is easy to understand and explain to others. Once the splits and segments are built, adding and removing individuals and groups is super simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
When adding rules to splits, you must be aware of the order in which the rules fall to verify they work correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Release new features to alpha/beta testers without exposing the code to the general public, which allows developers and designers to get feedback and make changes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Feature flag, we are able to do dark release quickly. Also able to do A/B testing at user level or percentage level

very friendly UI, easy to integrate, making AB testing very easy
What do you dislike about the product?
not much i dislike, maybe raise the limit of number of feature flags? At the moment our limit is 60, which can be exceeded easily, considering we have lots of team.

Great tool for feature flag management
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use feature flag management helps us to enable/disable given function for selected user/customer/region.
All our development environments are supported. There is good approval process for production environment.
I like the fact that a feature is enabled/disabled in our application right away when flag is turned on/off - no need to restart or page refresh.

Sometimes it is not clear how to configure flag per customer/user, but it might be related to the way our application is integrated with split.io
