A state-of-the-art eshop programm
What do you like best about the product?
This eshop software has an excellent Cloudsearch feature. Also the tech team keeps it updated with regular upgrades.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I dislike the re-deploy procedure, but you get used to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solved performance and optimization issues. Plus the important thing is that you have someone to lean on when things are not going well with the program. The technical team is very strong.

Not integrated with mobile money payment platforms that are common in Africa. Specifically Mpesa.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recommendations to others considering the product:
X-cart is an absolute beast of software for use as an e-commerce solution. I personally have zero experience in programming, but through the insightful documentation and community, I setup my own e-commerce platform without external help.
X-Cart is my ONLY choice for Hosting and Support. I highly recommend them as they are the BEST.
What do you like best about the product?
The customer service team at X-Cart is amazing. I always get an answer in a timely manner and they always know the answer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can honestly say there is NOTHING that I dislike about X-Cart. If I had to say something, I guess it is the time difference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have helped with all aspects of my website. I have them upgrade the site to the newest version every year so it works flawlessly. The have helped with integrating a QuickBooks export program and it makes my life so much easier.

X-cart was simple to implement, has an easy administrative interface and back end support is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system has limited "out of the box" reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer invoicing and communication is simple and effective. Easy of bulk updating of product information is fantastic and the ability to add on components through the menu system is great. Out of the box the store software is great but with the ability to add on modules if needed makes this choice fantastic for us.

I've used xcart software for years. Software is solid.

What do you like best about the product?
With X-Cart you can easily create your own online shop. The program takes some time to get used to, but then it works perfectly and is easy to use. You can adapt it to your own needs and so it reflects your companies image. Customers love it and it looks very professional. They support all my payment providers of choice which is also really important.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some changes and personalisations I couldn't do myself, a specialist had to do that. otherwiste there is nothing else to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creation and maintenance of an online shop to pick up customers on a professional level. We decided to do this because the current pandemic meant that the physical shop had to remain closed. Therefore we were still able to generate sales and will continue to use the shop in the future.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
X-cart is ideal for creating your own online shop so as not to become dependent on amazon and co.
X-Cart 4 Review
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using X-Cart 4 for over 10 years. Once the features are defined it works like charm. In my case it was very important to be able to hide prices for certain categories, or brands of products since some of those products can only be sold to authorized resellers. With X-cart we were able to accomplish that.
What do you dislike about the product?
They just recently moved to a monthly charge system. From paying a one time fee to paying $3K a year so some Russian Putin oligarch can have another boat. I am not paying for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My resellers can login, and confirm their pricing levels from anywhere. Many other customers just go to the site, and place their orders if it is a product that is not regulated.
Have used X-Cart for a number of years, and am very happy with it.
What do you like best about the product?
There seems to be no obstacles with X-Cart. I am always able to get the work done that I want to. There is a great X-Cart community that provides plenty of value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the updates are problematic, however support is very helpful and I have never had an outage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted a product that I did not have to be a programmer to use. By using X-Cart I have increased sales. It provides an excellent connection to third party products for integration into X-Cart giving to me the features that make my online store competitive in the marketplace.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give X-Cart a try and I am sure you will find that it is a full powered platform with a great community behind it. The openness of the product gives it unlimited power combined with the Marketplace offerings.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to get several on-demand plugins from their market place, some even free, others with bound to happen over the years "sales". It does what is intended for and saved me a lot of development costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The previous versions (after the classic 4) of 5.4 was unstable but now its much better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Application of discounts, backups, affiliates and much more have saved my backside numerous times. It allowed me to redeploy faster than before in other e-commerce platforms, I can use in my own AWS EC2 instance without memory issues or broken code.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get it if you need more plugins with affordable price. If you can do with the free version only you must get it.
My business has been using x-cart for the last 10 years and we couldn't be more happy!
