What do you like best about the product?
Instabug gives the user tools to create surveys for users on a mobile application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The structure of the raw data is challenging to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company can send out surveys to users to assess the reception on newly released features, builds, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to see where users have problems on the app
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to collect data if the screen captured via instabug does not reflect what user was reviewing at the time of bug/error
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are looking to solve bugs and errors that users are commonly seeing on our apps - it's useful to forward instabug to jira for our devs to consider into their sprints

Look at what instabug offers and see if it aligns with the feedback you are looking for in terms of bug finds and issues that users might be running into with your app.

What do you like best about the product?
Launching surveys without engineering...
What do you dislike about the product?
The insights product doesn't tell me anything about the users like OS, phone model, etc. All the things the bug reporting module provides.
Prompting users too early. Sessions count doesn't match our app's sessions count.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Survey useers to understand their feedback and drive ratings in the app store

What do you like best about the product?
We like detailed report logs that help s to pinpoint the issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have experience an issue with delayed reports for iOS devices. Sometimes it may take up to twwo hours until the report appears on the dashboard. But luckily it doesn't happen so often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instabug helps us find the core of the issue and provides a lot of useful data related to user's behavior.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is!! How with one click it gives me everything!! (Network logs, nslogs, screens and taps , etc)

I’ve been I. The iOS industry for 10 years and never experienced a feedback system so complete and user friendly.

I also love how we can create different categories for the users!!!

Another huge win. Customer service!! 10 minute return time !!! Amazing!!

I only wish there was a way to auto send this info for our beta users - because it’s so useful!!!

Getting feedback and reproducing bugs

The step by step screenshots before the user submitted the bug or feedback is huge.

The network logs attached is a huge win. We don’t waste time asking user which email, or which login or which screen or what they tapped!!!

It’s amazing!!!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It takes a while to integrate your network calls if you’re using something non standard.

Which we were.

So give it time!!

Also leverage support, they are fast!!

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to quickly filter through issues our users are having and then directing them to our engineering team with all the relevant information using one button.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it'd be nice if Instabug had a way to help you identify if things look similar that it suggests it cause right now you have to scroll to find the bug and then mark it as a duplicate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quicker triaging sessions. We are able to keep a log of issues our users actually experience.. and can tell from the frequency of reports whether something is a priority or not, before we spent so much time guessing. Now its driven by data.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to integrate, and users naturally take screenshots when bugs occur which means they don't even have to know it's there unless there's a bug. Increases your awareness of how users actually use the app.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too much at all, it's actually been a great help and has resulted in us uncovering a couple of key insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us to get a regular flow of information from our users in a relatively cheap/time efficient way. It's helped us uncover and address bugs from edge cases, and guided future features.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the visual flow for usage you get with each bug report. It's an amazing tool to track down what users are seeing - they aren't always the best at explaining problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint about Instabug is with account management. There are several places where it's difficult to change settings, easy to accidentally rack up unwanted charges, and accidentally sign up for features you don't want. I've already dealt with two scenarios where I get a surprise bill.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking down problems users run into in the app that they report to me - it's much easier to see what device and version of the app they're on and visually see their issue happening.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that instabug provides us with all the context around a respondent's system. I also love that it's localised into all languages for us so that we don't have to worry about this.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not very customisable, it would be great if we could make it look more like our app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use instabug for customer support. The benefit is that we can communicate with our users in-app and don't have to refer them to other channels. This has increased our engagement and retention.

I highly recommend instabug as a way to supercharge your user communication.
