Selecting to build around descope - Review
What do you like best about the product?
Descope is a tool that i chose to build around all our authentication-related flows, I like the following:
1. User friendly SDK's
2. Very responsive team
3. Very reliable product
4. Lots of documentation to begin with

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Some bugs might take a while to be solved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Descope solves a big pain for a startup, which is to start creating permissions and authorization control in the product, this is a massive part and no Soc2 / other alternative certificate can't be received.
Descope benefit us with a flexible solution, where we easily (in matter of days) been able to achieve a fully integrated solution.

Easy to configure and ease of administration
What do you like best about the product?
Ready to use code that is straightforward and easy to configure within your App.
What do you dislike about the product?
Had a small challenge with iOS that was quickly resolved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MFA and Passwordless integration that improved and created a seamless user experience while maintaining a high standard of security.
The ability to focus on our core application features and not have to build a User Identification management system from the ground up.

What do you like best about the product?
Descope was easy to implement, and is easy to update going forward - we love the Flows interface! The team was extremely helpful during the integration process. I highly recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints. We have been very pleased at every step of the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to quickly implement multi-factor and passwordless authentication for both our internal administrators and our customers, and we wanted the flexibility to support SMS, authenticator apps, and email, and to be able to easily add additional options in the future.

What do you like best about the product?
Our customers rely on the Cavelo Platform to provide safe and secure access to their data. By integrating our backend services with Descope, we are able to ensure that the Authentication layer is reliable and secure. Descope's pricing, particularly around SSO, aligns with our growth strategies and allows us to scale in a cost-effective manner.

I have only had positive experiences with the Descope team and product.

What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to pick one area for improvement, it would be the level of customization for the login dialog. However, we managed to solve this with their quick and helpful support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We realized that continuing to maintain and develop our own authentication was both risky and costly. By migrating to Descope, we shifted our authentication and authorization to a robust, secure platform. This not only saves us significant development time but also meets all of our customers’ needs while strengthening our overall security.
Utilizing Descope in Slice
What do you like best about the product?
Descope is very comprehensible and easy to use. it supports a lot of integrations. Customer support is very good and fast as we are using a custom slack channel. We use it all the time as it is the main auth flow and the implementation is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some requests sometimes hang.

We are using it as our main authentication provider in the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Great support with questions answered even over the weekend. Very seamless to implement and integrate with both backend and frontend. Supports theming and both drag and drop vs. custom API based build.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far it work great and will update with continued use.

Access management across our product ecosystem across multiple tenants.
Easily moved from Auth0 to Descope for a SAML SSO solution
What do you like best about the product?
- We add SAML SSO accounts every now and then. With Descope's intuitive solution, onboarding new customers works smoothly without any need to refresh on how things work.
- Setup of new accounts now involves much less back-and-forth with customers.
- The pricing includes the Pro plan, which is usage-based and not limited by resources.

- The pricing plan requires an annual commitment. I would appreciate an option for monthly payments.

Integrating Descope for B2B authentication on a Cybersecurity platform
What do you like best about the product?
Quick support time, willingness to help, hoping on Zoom calls, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of immaturity across the product, bugs and enterprise readiness. Had hard time implementing multi-tenancy within our own UI. Widgets integration fails on Next.JS, NextAuth fails to call different flows, many features are buggy and required us to deep dive debugging the SDK and the platform.

Authentication for our platform for our enterprise customers.
Easy to maintain, secure, great support
What do you like best about the product?
A painless product. Easy to integrate, secure, and excellent support. We've been with Descope for over a year for our member's app, and it has been exactly the product we've needed both for the ease of use for our members and for our ease of operation.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have no dislikes at this point. It is exactly what we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our members never have to remember passwords and user names. Using Descope's SMS OTP has been a perfect fit for them and us.
It's been stable, secure, and reliable. The support team has been there for us in the rare cases we have a problem, listening to ideas when we have suggestions and helping us think about the future.
