Very customizable product & helpful team
What do you like best about the product?
The product is highly customizable that it lets us do exactly what we need in the way we need rather than forcing us to change our product auth in order to use it.
However the even more important thing is the helpfulness of the team which is _amazing_ and the biggest reason in my mind to use Descope.
One can easily get started and set up a complex auth in a matter of a few hours and ship it to production.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly this is hard to say because everything i have disliked they have fixed or added a feature to solve for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed SAML for our product and descope solves this for us.

Easy to manage user system
What do you like best about the product?
The ease that I have when i need to tweak the user login flow as i am incorporating it in multiple sites
The responsivenes of the descope team on slack makes it a breeze to handle issues

Their offerings as a SAML IDP are still on the maturing phase, and they have gaps to fill

User self registration, user login flows, SSO to multiple sites using the same set of users
A Game-Changer for Authentication Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Descope makes user authentication super easy. It is so easy to set up and use. The functionalities are very nice, and the support team has always supported me. This is my number one choice for securing apps
What do you dislike about the product?
Descope is powerful but needs better documentation. Some features aren't detailed enough, and we often rely on the support team. Improved and more comprehensive documentation would greatly enhance the user experience
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Descope simplifies user authentication, making it easy to secure our applications. This saves us time and resources, allowing us to focus on developing new features and improving our product. The robust security features also give us peace of mind knowing our users' data is safe.
Great Support + Promising Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Descope has an incredibly responive support team who is ready to help out and even make product changes based on your requests! Pricing is also unbeatable compared to the other options out there!

It can be a bit clunky, but it is has been getting much better over time. It is a great bet on the future!

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy and simple set up, a lot of settings and options that make this product very flexible in terms of ui and different user flows. We loved the fact that we didn't have to develop such solution ourselves, basically everything we needed we got out of the box and for fair price. What's not to love about it then?)
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish documentation could have been more enriched with edgecases and alternative solutions. Not every project is typical and sometime the "best" solution just doesn't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need to build our own CIAM system, a lot of integrations out of of the box, no headache for future installations on our side

What do you like best about the product?
We recently needed to transition off of Amazon Cognito because its capabilities are much too limited. We did extensive research on which IdP solution would meet our needs and be cost effective. We evaluated numerous solutions are Descope was the clear winner. We joined their Startup Program and have been extremely impressed. Their team has been wonderful and sumpremely helpful. We look forward to partnering with them long term.

So far so good, we haven't had any issues that we couldn't resolve with supports help.

We needed a robust IdP that supports SAML SSO and SCIM

What do you like best about the product?
The product is very easy to use and easy to implement after the first walk through. The customer support is really amazing. We have our whole sign flow powered by descope as of now.

The product onboarding could be a little better, which will help anyone realise what to expect and how to naviate.

Descope is helping us smoothen our onboarding process as the user can sign up with by filling out just one field.
I've tried almost every service out there. Descope met all my needs and was the easiest to set up.

There are many solutions out there that promise easy integration. But none of those take easy to the level of Descope. Descope's flow graph GUI lets you customize different flows and toggle them on and off. The best thing about this flow graph GUI is that you can always come back and remember immediately how you've had everything configured.
2. Amazing support
I can honestly say, Descope has the best customer support and this is across different all the different people I've interacted with, starting from technical support to the billing department. Every organization should strive to have employees that care this much about their customers regardless of the size of the customer's business.

I must have tried 5 or more solutions out there. If you're building SAAS, you require multi-tenancy and you will likely have a need to customize the onboarding steps. Descope provided all of that flexibility, while being the easiest to implement.

What do you like best about the product?
It allowed us to integrate our mobile and web applications with many of the most popular IdP solutions. Even though I could implement the OAuth and SAML workflows by hand, why bother? Descope documentation was reasonable and the implementation was much faster than hand-rolling my own.
What do you dislike about the product?
Descope does come at a cost. That cost is for convenience. However, some organizations may feel the cost isn't worth it. As with all providers, you do relinquish some of the control.

We are using Descope to integrate with a few different OAuth and SAML IdPs.
