Descope is awesome
What do you like best about the product?
Descope is a standout in authentication, blending a nobel approach with flows with exceptional customer service. From multi-tenancy to dynamic authentication, it covered all our (somehow unique?) requirements.
What truly impresses is the customer service. Every issue or question I've had was met with swift, efficient support. Even more remarkable, if a solution didn't already exist for a specific problem, the team was proactive in either finding one or working on a new feature to meet our needs.
I would recomend Descope to anyone that is after a robust solution that will scale with your company size.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have talked to the team and I know they are working on solutions for this but I personally would love to find a solution to keep flows at sync accross projects, potentially support a terraform provider for better control (+compliance, +change management).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The dynamic approach descope provides for authentication flows has been proving to be extremelly valuable.

I don't worry about users management anymore!
What do you like best about the product?
The setup and integration was very easy and fast.
I like that I can switch between different authentication methids in a seamless manner.
Most of all, It spares me to develop and maintain the whole users management module in our system

The only thing is that the documentation is little lacking, but it's getting better

It solves the pain of developing and maintaining users management and authentication.

What do you like best about the product?
The quick integration and pricing matched my needs from day 1. I've made the transition from Auth0, which was a nightmare to setup and extend. I've heard from peers how authentication is hard and descope's approach made the transition quick and easy.
The flows allow for a ton of customization and we've managed to integrate descope for our frontend, backend and internal M2M communication in a day of work. They might be a fairly new startup but it seems they really understand the requirements of multi-tenancy and ease of use. As a developer, I couldn't have been happier switching over to descope!

What do you dislike about the product?
The login component is missing a little more customization but this can be worked around when implementing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are a simple to use integration for all of our authentication and identity needs. We needed a fast and customizable way to manage authentication and having simple support for User, API and M2M auth made our lives easy.

What do you like best about the product?
Descope simplicity and easy integration are incredible. Their response time is great and the employees' attitude is the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are missing, more on specific use cases on a technical level. But the team always find time to listen to feedback and implement it if possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I looked for a seamless authentication and authorization solution that can scale with my product and requires minimum intervention from my team.
A robust easy to use auth provider with a RARE Customer Focus!
What do you like best about the product?
Descope has been a pleasure to work with, and so far I am more than impressed by the auth platform. They offer any number of modern authentication techniques, including passkeys, oauth, and passwordless options that make it super easy for users to get signed up and in. The thing that really impressed me with Descope is the support. They have a wonderful team for developer support available seemingly 24/7 in their slack team. Our original implementation plan included a hybrid approach with descope as oidc for AWS Cognito but after working with their team, and going through to implementation we have since decided to completely transition to Descope with the confidence that we will have a robust auth system thats easy to maintain, and have access to first class support if we happen to hit any issues. This was the first project I integrated with Descope, and based on my experience I will not hesistate tot use or recommend it in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its hard to find downsides to Descope. If I had to be critical I would say their docs site and tutorials are somewhat hard to navigate. I think their support makes up for that. The only other thing would be a.slight learning curve is using the auth flow builder. There are some parts, like laying out items in a custom screen, that aren't very intuitive, but once you understand how to use it its very easy.

Descope is solving authentication, and making it easy to get robust & secure sign up and in options added to apps. This helps startup owners like myself provide increased value to customers quicker. and Im not sure you can ask for much more than that
Great Product and Team
What do you like best about the product?
I really like their Ease of Use and Implementation . The onboarding was super quick and almost without any hickups. When we did need help with more complex issues/scenarios, Descope Customer Support was very responsive and helpful .
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a bit more features such as Terraform support, and easier custom ui implementation.

- Lack of Operational Reporting without external integrations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration with multiple IDP providers for SSO and also acting as an IDP during the intial onboarding by support local users with passwordless workflows.
Finally, an easy to integrate authentic service with all modern features
What do you like best about the product?
The whole process was very easy. Integration steps for both front-end and back-end were described very clearly and worked as described. It took us just a few hours to set up the account and integrate both front-end and back-end.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you select initial authentication options, if you want to change the methods, there is no easy process. I was able to figure it out and complete it, but it could be made easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Descope has made it extremely easy to deploy all sorts of identity management features for my application.
Easy Authentication and then some!
What do you like best about the product?
Clean API docs, super easy to integrate into our current system. Their interface is build fairly well and the API is even better. Have all the best with options ready to go with very minimal work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really enjoy the ease of use, it could take weeks or months to build similar functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had to get my app ready to go within a few days. Descoped took a huge chunk of time off my plate by offering their services.
World class customer service
What do you like best about the product?
I like the team that backs Descope. They are very helpful and attentive. When I've had any issues integrating the product they stepped up and were willing to jump on a call to help me resolve the issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation is lacking a bit, but I think this is expected for any company tackling a problem as big as enterprise identity management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Descope allows me to focus on my product and not spend countless hours building a subpar identity management solution.
