What do you like best about the product?
* Strong focus on passwordless authentication, which enabled better user experience
* Swift integration of various authentication schemes
* Flexible integration mechanisms that helped us to start small and iterate
* Ability to visually build authentication UI and workflows using their "Flows" feature
* Robust API documentation and integration support from their team
* SDKs available for various mainstream technologies

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Everything worked well, and our current production workloads have been running very smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Authentication has only been a utilitarian aspect of our apps so far. Descope provided a secure platform while also enabling us to iterate quickly and providing a much better user experience than we could build.

Our company built and delivered our membership app to production in 54 days, including automated authorization state handling from Stripe with a team of 1.5 people.

If you're uncomfortable being an early adopter, you can choose a more established, harder-to-use, more expensive option.

The Descope team's response to customer needs discoveries is to dive in, explore, and understand the opportunity. This often becomes rapidly updated documentation, sample projects, or a feature.
They are also respectful clear, and decisive as to why they will not implement some suggestions.

We are a very small team, and the technology portion of the company is one and a half people, not counting the CEO.
Descope solved ease of use, stability, and security authentication with all the certs to prove it.
We needed OTP so that our members never have to remember a username or a password but still have secure access to their benefits and entitlements at our club and restaurant.

Simply the Best
What do you like best about the product?
Other IDP vendors don't seem to care about your experience, but Descope is night and day different. They've rethought the entire authentication experience, making it a breeze. Their responsiveness is second to none, nipping the few issues in the bud with gusto. The login flows make customising the login experience a joy. Highly recommended!
What do you dislike about the product?
With it being early days still for Descope, there have been a few teething problems. No regrets about making the switch, though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Descope's approach to multi-tenancy and SSO has improved our product considerably -- managing role memberships in different tenants is easy. Swapping out our previous IDP integration with Descope has been a relative breeze. The price point makes it quite attractive, as well.
