Solid Backup for Business
What do you like best about the product?
The Suite has all the major components in the main body of the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search capability is like an afterthought tacked on. I'd like to see the tools running are part of the suite and not an add on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to both backup our data and replicate it. The processes are separate enough so that we can move data as we see fit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider your needs for physical backup as they are not integrated into this solution.

The Veeam tools serve a necessary purpose and are easy to use

It's easy to set and forget which is great for the type of tools.

Reporting, remote access of multiple instances would be nice. B&R backups over VPN overwrite the wrong hosts backups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backup and replication tasks of critical systems. Increased comfort in knowing that system backups are in place in the event of catastrophic incidents.
Complete and easy Backup System
What do you like best about the product?
The easy Way Backup Job can be created and restored. A main Control panel let you manage all otpions and status of backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing for core can be a little bit annoying, but right now is the most used system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backups of VMware VM are easy and very fast

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of configuration. Easy to see servers or groups and monitor the progress. Ability to pick and choose files, folders or servers to restore. Backup on the fly with instant notification of failure or success. Ability to group VMs for replication or cloud backups. Updates are super easy to install.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a whole lot to dislike. I would have to say the incorporation of stand alone servers to the VM backup suite could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have a backup or server administrator so the ability to have it set up and sleep better because we knew the backups were being made and to multiple sites.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at all the competitors. I believe you will find no others that satisfy your VM backup needs as well as Veeam.
Its an easy application to install and to manage.

The easy that makes the administration and recovery of data or virtual machines.

At the moment there is nothing that I dislike about the application.

Veeam Review - Simple and Easy to Use for novice users. Easy to setup!
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite things is the visibility. Very easy to see what is going on without digging through too many sub menus. I like the web portal and knowledge base as it has helped me solve a lot of my own issues without having to contact Veeam for support. They have done a great job of compiling a list of issues and fixes for the end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the speed is not as fast as I think it should be going like it reports false information. I wish there was a way to get 1 comprehensive report of all my backups instead of multiple throughout the day. That is really the only thing I would change. Sometimes I have issues getting the windows agent to install on new virtual machines during the auto deploy process. Its not a deal breaker I just have to end up doing a manual install of the agent. Other than that there is not much else I have changed. I would not consider myself a pro at this by any means but it is very simple to use and get going.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backup of O365 Data is huge to my company. The ability to set my own retention policies outside of what O365 offers is great! Prior to moving to Veeam one of our biggest concerns was regarding files lost after employees leave. The Veeam for Backup O365 has obviously helped with this problem. also like that you are able to use additional storage repositories from 3rd party companies to expand the amount of storage you need.
V10 has amazing backup features, missing archive functions
What do you like best about the product?
File backup feature added in v10 really does round out the backup needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't tier between extents / storage accounts. Moving content to different storage tiers is a must for media and entertainment companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Physical and virtual systems are backed up creating peace of mind and meeting BCP/DR needs.

You can quickly replicate servers.
The menu is very simple and useful.
With workstation backup, you can take backups as user profile or partition.
In the active directory restore process, you can bring back a user simply deleted via the interface.

What do you dislike about the product?
When a server is removed from the replication group and added again, it is necessary to replicate that server with a new name.
With workstation backup, agents can be disrupted spontaneously on the PCs that are backed up.
Should have a detailed report screen
Statistics screen should be more understandable
May not detect the number of restore points in workstation backups.
I also think it should be a little cheaper.
We are unable to replicate some high capacity servers when not supporting Rdm disks.

We replicate server backups to the structure created for the disaster site. it was a great convenience as far as we can see in these disaster tests.
With the active directory backup process, we can easily restore deleted or changed users.
At the same time, we store user profile backups on their PCs with workstation backup.
I am sure the exchange backup data restore process would be very useful, but we cannot use this feature because it is an RDM disk.

The product is very useful but has its shortcomings. I think it will be better as the updates continue. it works quite well for us.
Excellent solution for backup.
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to use, even if you were not used. Good operating system, hypervisor and server compatibility (physical or virtual). Good technical assistance and time for response. Brand updates and new releases are updated continuously. Veeam has the best prices and affiliate services with other similar tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be interesting if Veeam could boost the reclamation process by low-level replication from snapshot to byte. Cloud connecting consoe works well, but for Cloud Service Providers, there are certain limitations, for example, if a cloud development environment is given to a private cloud client and they need a DRP at other location in a region, cloud connecting enables the client to see all the locators behind the service provider's hypervisor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam offers reliable backup on our servers. You can save the server, backup a SQL server, and choose the DB you want to restore instead of the whole server if you need to rebuild it. It's very easy to use and everybody knows how it works.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want quick backup management, you need to use Veeam software. Thanks to productivity, solidity and easy to use, I do not lose sleep at night. I strongly advise that this product be introduced.
