Simple and Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Moving over to Brex has made our expense reporting process quick and simple. We use specific virtual cards for recurring expenses and map them to accounts, automating our budgeting and tracking process.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is too easy to order more physical cards. I think the integration with Quickbooks is great since it automatically categorizes the expenses, but would like to have tags also be integrated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brex solved our expense reporting process. The virtual credit cards with spending limits have been helpful in keeping on track with our budget and giving us insight into our spending.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look into Brex's expense reporting. Their process is a big reason why we switched over.

What do you like best about the product?
Good tech integrations, it has good functionality and I use it all the time

Rewards are just okay, I wish it plugged into AMEX for the points

Manage expenses for a fast growing company. It's saved us a lot of time
Great integrated solutions for small organizations
What do you like best about the product?
Brex has been very flexible in getting us off the ground with an employee credit card and expense management system. Reasonably easy to use for employees and lots of options for virtual cards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The back-end setup (connecting to QBO) is good, but we've run into some issues re accessing card numbers if you're not the card creator (for cards that are tied to shared projects, for example). Easy to get around w/ a shared spreadsheet or something, but not as secure as we'd like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving each employee a card and having them add the app to their phones has helped us take care of most of our receipt-collection/classification needs. Employees use it!

User interface feature. Text message confirmation of purchases.

DO NOT TRUST BREX FOR YOUR BUSINESS. Closed our account and froze funds with zero warning.

Easy sign up and software works nice when you're small. BUT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Brex is horribly managed and will cause catastrophic cashflow problems once your business gets big.

After 2+ years of running a large online business using Brex, they inexplicably closed our account (with zero notice) and froze our funds.
Zero explaination, just an unhelpful automated email saying our account has been closed and the decision is final. Login disabled, funds frozen.
The support team doesn't help and doesn't follow up when they say they will. This company is managed horribly on all fronts and does not care about their customers.
As any business owner knows, getting your funds frozen and having all your customer payments suddenly bounce is catastrophic for an online business with daily expenses and daily revenues. Also, we had thousands of dollars in rewards points they decided to keep for themselves and not pay out.
At any time, Brex's automated systems may do this to you and your business. We run a normal honest business, there is no justification for closing our account and breaking the cashflow lifeblood of our business with zero notice.

Brex is useless. See above. DO NOT TRUST THEM. This company will freeze your funds and steal your money. Brex is a horribly managed scam company with incompetent employees.
Ersatz bank
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing about it is any better than a regular bank, in fact most things are worse. If you're considering Brex, use a good regional bank instead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Brex is fairly inflexible. They offer some interesting features but overall they are much worse than a standard bank account.

Brex has not solved any problems for me, and I am closing my account.
Bad support. Poor time to respond. International wire trasfer to LATAM not works.

If you are in LATAM or need wire transfers outside USA, NOT IS YOU SOLUTION! And will have more problems that solutions.

Customer service, bad experience with onboarding.

Unfortunately can't test enough. Brex cut our account with no reasons

Most people are making online purchases so not having to get them a physical card is really nice. Also not having to approve expenses because they have a card.
