Brex - a streamlined approach for business spending
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of the platform. It's clean, easy to use, and functional for multiple use cases such as online purchases, digital card applications, and physical card applications. The receipt tracking and memo input fields have a great UX. All around a terrific suite of features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only improvement I would suggest is to limit the number of 2-factor authentication requests when signing on via laptop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in marketing and produce events for our company. Our controller and raise my limit in an instant if I need more resources while onsite. Solving problems quickly is crucial for program success, and cash flow isn't an issue with Brex.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can take a photo of the receipt, just after I make a business purchase, and also document what the purchase was for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found anything just yet, I may not, I've used Brex for 7 months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of misplacing a receipt for purchase made. I add a photo immediately and no worries of losing it.

Brex gave us a quick and easy solution for employee spending accounts and ACH transfers when our traditional bank said they wouldn't because our account was new

Transfers to our Brex account take a long time to become available.

Brex gave us employee spending accounts and ACH transfer capabilities when our regular bank wouldn't. They make it easy to manage employee spending.
Great Usability
What do you like best about the product?
The app is incredibly simple and to-the-point, making it easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Trying to use it without the physical card didn't work in all cases (specifically for car rental), but I requested a card to cover future issues

Easy and quick entry of receipts and memos, saving time and headaches
Brex is a wonderful corporate credit card system!

The online access is so easy to use, great for tracking expenses and uploading receipts and the online support is always quick and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often use the search functions to find certain charges and it works very well by name, but would be nice if it also worked by searching for numerical values/amounts.

Brex is easier to use and track than many other cards.

Consider the advantages of virtual cards.

Not possible to grant to my accountant multiple access to cash and to credit cards. Need to create multiple logins. No additional approver. Need dual approver or multiple.

I have to upload monthly statements, which is a bit of a pain

What do you like best about the product?
Love how easy it is to use. Also love the app. It is user friendly and easy to load receipts. The app is fast and any can use it. It's the perfect setup for any app

I don't think there is any downside's to the app.

What do I like best? I like the ease of uploading receipts right on the app. Take a quick snap and send. Done.

Sometimes some things can take a long time to process through.

Brex is a game changer for startup banking!
What do you like best about the product?
Brex's best feature is that it always works; we've experienced zero downtime and zero issues. It's also extremely easy to use as an administrator and has APIs for deep integration/automation of workflows. I also really like their vendor card system, which allows for the creation of vendor-specific cars instantly; this helps us limit our software spending and allows us to cancel individual services if needed. Finally, the community team is awesome and hosts startup networking events all the time; I've met other great founders and also other startup service companies through these events.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything specifically that I dislike. There are a few features that I wish Brex had:
1. More advanced card limits (single transaction amount limits in addition to monthly/yearly limits)
2. The ability to share vendor cards between multiple users
3. The ability to create budgets and associate individual transaction to those budgets (this would enable better project spend tracking)

Brex has great rewards that are perfectly suited for a startup. We have leveraged their discount codes for multiple vendors, and have tried using their travel software as well.

It's the best credit and expense product for startups!
