Products and Orders can be limited out of the box, we solved that with Salesforce CPQ.

Sales cloud is the best tool for salespeople and is so easily customized! Increase productivity, sales, and your bottom line. Never miss a meeting or an opportunity.

Not having it set to enter the information as it should be gained will make your salespeople frustrated. Leadership needs to find experienced help to determine what, when, how info should be captured.
