Enhances deal closures and have navigation and process flow features

What is our primary use case?

Clients create business opportunities in the life sciences and retail industries. They launch their initiatives using Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Cloud.

How has it helped my organization?

Salesforce Sales Cloud enhances deal closures. We can implement checks to ensure proper data entry with validation rules. For instance, when the first option is selected, the second option can be automatically pre-selected based on default settings, simplifying the user’s job. The user does not need to manually address all possibilities or answer all customer questions. Using permutation and combination constraints, we can automate subsequent selections based on previous choices, managed through validation rules at the back-end level.

What is most valuable?

Primary features include navigation and process flow, which indicate your stage throughout the opportunity’s life cycle. At any given point, it shows your current status and probability. The reports and dashboard functionality are major highlights of Salesforce. Additionally, it is user-friendly and has a simple configuration, making it easily adaptable to any sales-related detail.

What needs improvement?

They should also include ATP and CTP functionality. Whenever there is a sale or opportunity, sales representatives should be able to determine what is available in the inventory and how much can be delivered to the customer. For example, if I take an order today, it might take ten days to produce and deliver the product. This is the ATP. If a customer orders 100 cell phones, the CTP functionality helps determine if we can deliver that quantity.

This insight is provided when ERP systems are integrated, as ERP systems handle inventory. However, even without an ERP system, this information is crucial. The ATP and CTP stock should be monitored or mentioned somewhere in Salesforce to make decisions easier for sales representatives.

If my inventory has 10,000 cell phones from 8 AM to 6 PM at the start of the day, any confirmed orders should reduce this inventory count. We can monitor my inventory in real-time and decide whether to accept new opportunities based on current stock levels.

I have been using Salesforce Sales Cloud as a partner for five years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I rate the solution’s stability a nine out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We cater the solution to medium and large businesses.

How are customer service and support?

Support is good.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is easy. Deployment will take a minimum of one week. Once you buy the license from Salesforce, it typically takes two to three days. After that, we need to start configuring the system in a separate process.

I rate it an eight out of ten.

What was our ROI?

Our customers have gained significant benefits. The customers I worked with used to manage their leads and opportunities using Excel and other local applications. When we implemented Salesforce, we unified all the data from different companies within a group onto a single platform. We performed the data migration and provided access to all sales representatives.

As a result, the sales process, lead generation, and opportunity management saw a drastic reduction in order processing time. Previously, closing an opportunity took at least two to three weeks. With Salesforce Sales Cloud, due to the visibility of the data structure, insights, and analytics, they could make decisions more quickly.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Pricing is reasonable.

What other advice do I have?

Workflows are a concept and an automation tool. They require a trigger—whenever an action takes place based on user input, the system will trigger a workflow and handle the rest of the tasks. This automation happens with the help of the workflow functionality.
It depends on the organization. For example, if it's a defense-related or government organization, they use the government or private cloud.

I recommend the solution. The availability of resources in the market has increased tremendously. Salesforce technical support, knowledge base, and manpower are widely available. Training materials, tutorials, and other resources are also freely accessible, making it easy for anyone to use Salesforce. It is easy to understand, user-friendly and offers many key features.

Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

Not easy deployment, sucessful performance and engagement

What do you like best about the product?
The most attractive aspect of Salesforce Service Cloud is how simple and easy it is to use - and how easy is in the integration if the sales cloud is already up & running in your organisation. You don't need any support managing neither deep trainning.
What do you dislike about the product?
The less appealing aspect of salesforce service cloud is its UX/UI; it's interface is not very customize by default and you need to pay an extra cost to implement your own or desired UX/UI. In my case, we invest on a UX/UI agency (functional definition) and a signficant extra cost to the technical / implementation partner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- 360 view of the customer (all in one view) - addind value to the service lever & customer experience
- tracking all the relevant information about leads
- activating the sales funnel conversions
- managing the call center and other communication channels to customers

Salesforce Sales Cloud is a Fantastic CRM Application can manage business very effectively, best interactions, Can integrate with Other CRM applications with less complexity and many features. what not.

Cost is quite more when compared to other CRM applications, Lock in period and support from Customer service
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration with Siebel CRM application is the only problem, Salesforce sales cloud is the only option.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud is its user-friendly interface, robust reporting tools, customizable dashboards, efficient lead ,opportunity management, bulding CRM experiances using Experience cloud, and the ability to automate routine tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Salesforce Sales Cloud is that it can be quite costly for smaller businesses. Additionally, the initial setup and customization is complex and time-consuming. Some features, like the reporting tools, can be complex and difficult to navigate without proper training. Building and deploying experiance cloud services is also a lenghty process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us by centralizing our customer data, making it easier to track interactions and follow up on leads. Most importantly, the automated workflows and task management features save time and reduce manual effort. Also enabling email tracking feature helps keep track on the emails like who's viewing the emails and who's not including how many time they open the email. based on this we can make decisions for follow-ups. Also, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement helps Marketing team manages the marketing assets or activities.

What do you like best about the product?
Salesforce Sales Cloud is highly regarded for its extensive CRM functionality, enabling organizations to centralize customer information and obtain a 360-degree view. It maximizes productivity through its ability to be customized and integrated with other tools. The platform’s analytics are real-time, user-friendly, and help in navigating quickly through it when making data-driven decisions. Automation of everyday tasks and an improved team collaboration through Chatter are some of the functionalities that make work done faster and promote teamwork at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep Learning Curve: However, it is relatively complex in setup and when it is first deployed on the user interface.

Cost: It requires a good deal to implement, more so when it is embraced by small firms.

Customization Complexity: Most of the time the customization of Lessing requires some form of programming.

Performance Issues: That is, it is not entirely unaffected by the size of the data it receives, albeit it can be slowed down.

User Interface: Several of them evaluated the layout as not as flexible as in the other CRM systems as far as usage is concerned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All in one sales intelligence platform designed for easy adabtibility and integration accross different platforms and a vast and fully customizable module gives you extream control over your sales and cs operations also it provides the following:

Lead Management: It centralizes the leads and makes sure that none of the possible deals slip through the cracks which is beneficial in converting more leads into customers.

Sales Productivity: When done to different tasks, it serves as an advantage that helps to dedicate time to cores sales activities of relationship building and account closure.

Data Insights: Instant analysis and account reporting is incredibly useful for tracking the volume of sales and make informed decisions.

Collaboration: Tools like Chatter supplement the methods of communication within a team, allowing for information exchange and cooperation.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Salesforce Sales Cloud for the last 10 yrs, it's relatively easy to use (if your company is providing good training or documenting changes) and easy to integrate with all the other solutions in the market.
Trailhead is really helpful.
I have been able to design, deliver and report on lots of solutions and improvements through the years across different industries.
What do you dislike about the product?
- When Salesforce is not implemented correctly or in fast growing organisations it can become overcomplicated and very often developers or consultant are turning SFDC into a clunky over-engineered mess.
- Despite the updates and improvements, there are still a lot of overlooked improvements or issues that Salesforce ignored over the years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce Sales Cloud is solving many problems around the company, I benefited from being able to automate processes, provide reporting and build solutions within Salesforce. It really helped my daily work and my career.

What do you like best about the product?
Such a comprehensive CRM system. Totally customisable to each persons / orgs needs.

Would be lost without sfdc as my birth star!

Too many option .. but not necessarily bad.

Keeping track of all aspects of contact - from meetings, outresch, deal progression - genuine birth star!
