What do you like best about the product?
As a consultant, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful Salesforce Sales Cloud can be in transforming the way organizations manage their sales processes. I appreciate how it brings visibility and structure to every stage of the sales cycle — from lead generation to closed deals — while giving teams real-time insights that drive smarter decisions. Its automation tools save time on routine tasks, and the customization options make it easy to tailor the platform to each client’s unique needs. Ultimately, Sales Cloud helps businesses sell more efficiently, collaborate better, and build stronger customer relationships.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without a clear strategy and ongoing management, it’s easy for the system to become cluttered or underutilized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce Sales Cloud has helped solve a range of common business challenges I’ve seen with clients — from a lack of visibility into the sales pipeline and disorganized lead management to inefficient manual processes and inconsistent customer communication. It provides real-time reporting, centralized data, and automation tools that eliminate repetitive tasks. As businesses grow, Sales Cloud also makes it easier to scale operations with standardized workflows and approvals, creating a more efficient and connected sales organization overall.

Streamlined Sales Management with Powerful Integration

What do you like best about the product?
I find the transition to Salesforce Sales Cloud beneficial as it consolidated our CRMs into one platform, simplifying data management. The lightning record pages with dynamic forms are particularly helpful for adapting to different sales cycles across markets and brands. The setup was straightforward thanks to the trailblazer community and my Salesforce admin certification. It improves the sales cycle and makes life easier for those who understand how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel there's a struggle with the activity type reporting. There's only one type field for both events and activities, but it only captures the event type. This limitation requires creating a custom field to capture the activity type and then employing a workflow or flow to assign the correct value, which is frustrating. I would like to see the possibility of adding the activity type as a native report feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Salesforce Sales Cloud consolidates multiple CRMs into one platform, enhancing sales cycles and making life easier by improving pipeline management.

The entire process, from creating a lead to closing an opportunity, is incredibly seamless.

At times, it requires significant customization to meet specific business process needs.

The process covers everything from lead creation through to contract execution, including handling change orders.

Sales Cloud is the heart of Salesforce and it has so many great features that expand from it, like reports and dashboards, automation, and forecasting.

There’s nothing that I can think of that I dislike about it.

What do you like best about the product?
There is a host of features, a ridiculously customizable, and just a general beast!

Being able to provide insights for the sales team as well a the leadership team makes Sales Cloud invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a steep learning curve if you aren't familiar with CRMs. Additionally, as I said it was a beast - that is both positive and negative. For some who aren't tech savvy it can be daunting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping the sales process in one place.

Reporting Limitations Without Advanced Tools
Standard reports and dashboards are great for high-level tracking but have limits in cross-object joins, real-time analytics, or dynamic interactivity.

Before Salesforce, key sales data—Accounts, Opportunities, Quotes, and Contracts—was scattered across spreadsheets, email threads, and disconnected systems
