Long time sales cloud user

What do you like best about the product?
The core sales cloud data model and out of the box features allow for a clear and intuitive user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you start customizing the platform the functionality requires many clicks. For example, when screen flows are created to capture files the user must click Next before it is uploaded. Before dynamic layouts we had to use custom actions to create sections and you can't update multiple sections at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being the core unifying source of truth for our global sales org

What do you like best about the product?
Sales Cloud gives us the ability to seamlessly manage our open deals and track productivity! It also allows us to keep better track of our business as a whole!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would not change anything about it! We use it everyday!

Ability to track our open opportunities!

What do you like best about the product?
A lot of easy ways to build and customize the workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to customize the UX designs and some features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage opportunities and track activities. It is easy to check the histories and contact the previous opportunities after some time has passed.

What do you like best about the product?
Its very dependable. Our sales reps never have an issue using the system. Its easy to use and manage as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Im unable to customize the theme of sales cloud as much as Id like to match up with our company brand. It doesnt give much options to change in the settings
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows a better outlook on the sales team and helps manage day to day tasks. They have been most productive on this platform than typical email based sales.

What do you like best about the product?
Salesforce is an incredible system of engagement that connect Sales professionals with their customers and managers with a built in workflow and analytics engines. It's multi-tenant platform allows sales people to spend more time selling.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I like least about Sales Cloud as an admin and developer is that sometimes features are released with glaring weaknesses and gaps. For example, Interaction Summaries is a great tool with the potential to replace activities but is missing basic calendaring functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce's suite of APIs and Appexchange partners makes it easy to connect it, our System of Engagement with our various systems of record for a seamless integration with master data.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability for the Sales team to see a pipeline of opportunities and defining tasks that are next to move them from one stage to another.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not as big of a fan for Leads. but that's because I believe the amount of information is the same for a contact and a lead in my organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows my team to keep track of all the engagements/opportunites, and gain insights in a proper reporting.

Sometimes it's difficult to get users to adopt Salesforce and to continue to update their data.

There are some many capabilities that it can be overwhelming to learn and utilize all that is available.

Powerful and robust and still easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
I love that we can customize the system to meet the demands and wishes of our sales teams. We are always able to find a way to accommodate their wishes. Sometimes it's not easy, but it's do-able.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be complicated behind the scenes and sometimes lots of clicks. Also since we use 3 clouds we need to be sure we don't break something for another team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Salesforce Sales Cloud for all of our contact / touches with our Financial Professionals. Our Internal Sales Teams use it to pull lists of people to call, they log all of their calls, send out emails, and even order promo items and marketing materials via integrations. We used to have to use multiple systems. Because of the integrations, it is becoming the 1 stop place of truth and visibility across the teams. Our external teams use it primarily to prepare for upcoming meetins, as well as keeping their calendar up to date in real time.
