Great Sales Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of this product is key to the success of our sales team. Love the ability to configure and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ability to integrate with other tools, but getting better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our ability to sell and collaborate across teams.
Comprehensive CRM
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that the Lightning interface is user friendly and allows for customization so that you can guide the user through the processes you would like them to complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though they say no code, you do need some type of technical knowledge/thinking ability. Yes you dont use code but you are creating technical processes that for some are harder to grasp.

Sales Cloud allows you to keep all information about your customers and prospects so that anyone can see the state of the business at any time. It is also helpful if you have new sales reps or sales reps leaving since there can be full notes and info on that account to have an easier ramp. You are also not holding data in a nonsecure place for security concerns.
I also appreciate the integrations with SFDC because that helps us keep the rep working only in SFDC and not jumping from one system to another

Cloud based system we will ease the launch and implementation
Connecting to cloud from anywhere using any device
It's popular solution so it is less required for trainings

What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing and less control on customization is what I don't like about that
Also we are not having any control on downtimes...means sometimes you have an urgent period of time and you have no power to push the downtimes go forward to a low traffic time

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need to train staff about Salesforce sales cloud as it's easy to use and a popular platform
So it's some kind of hassle free platforms that you get benefit out of that

Everything that you need to smoothen your sales cycle
What do you like best about the product?
Sales process can be managed very easily through it, lead conversion and deal management are effective. Products and pricebooks can also be maintained and we can always customize the platform the way our business requires.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little expensive but worth the cost
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce has made it easier to manage the entire Sales process be it about lead generation, automation, lead conversion or deal management. Everything can be done through point and click and also it is cloud based which means you can access it from anywhere.
Terrific solution for pipeline management
What do you like best about the product?
Salesforce Sales Cloud has been essential for our Sales and Marketing team to track manage and analyze our sales pipeline. The adoption has been significantly higher than other tools used in past. Competition is no where near to the ease of using this solution for our CRM goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quite a lot of 3rd Party integration and development for some simpler aspect of CRM. Hard to maintain and keep things up to date with 3rd party integrations and constant worry of security dealing with confidential and critical data being parsed to 3rd party integration apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to analyze our sales teams pipeline and revenue recognition process with setting up milestones and historical trends of critical fields. The details like aging and time to complete an opportunity allow us to manage our pipeline accordingly and provide resources to the teams. Also allows us to see a clients journey from Lead to Contract.
Great CRM for Sales Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Salesforce Sales Cloud is user friendly and has helped our Sales reps close more business and manage their book of business. We have been able to create efficiencies with the automation tools provided in Sales Cloud, and the reports and dashboards have helped our leadership team better manage their teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's user-friendly, but just like any new tool, there is quite a learning curve with people who haven't used it before. There are many ways to utilize Salesforce Sales Cloud, therefore it can be a bit confusing and cumbersome if not setup properly. A dedicated Salesforce team and/or consultant to help set up and manage the platform is highly recommended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales Cloud helps us close more business and keeps our sales reps on task. They are able to track and manage their leads and accounts better by having this platform.
Salesforce Sales Cloud Fits for Just About Every Industry But...
What do you like best about the product?
There's lots of features and functionality that relatable to many industries but beware what they say is 'out of the box' a lot of this still needs to be set up and configured by a Salesforce admin. I've heard many times that "it doesn't work" like advertised but IT WILL IF set up correctly.
Sales Cloud was already pretty competitive in the market but they updated the package to include Sales Engagement and Einstein components which is PHENOMENAL. For those unfamilair with what these are, its automation capabilities that accelerates core functionality. It makes so much more sense and the pricing finally gets closer to reflecting the full capability.
I also describe Salesforce as the 'Apple' when it comes to apps. There's apps for just about everything on the app exchange. Unlike Andriod users who would often have to wait for certain apps, the app exchange (aka store) is pretty big. Lots of connectors.

What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of functionality makes sense from a technological perspective but not from a user perspective. It almost feels like they rushed certain things and cut corners on little things that truly change the every day user experience. A few examples:
-Sales can be a high turnover role everywhere and you can't mass transfer cadences easily. You manually can change targets 200 at a time....but for high performing roles there's easily 50k or more targets.
-lookup fields are single select. This is the most common asked for feature over my years and unfortunately all other CRMs have or just released this out of the box.
-they moved basic products like Action Plan out of Sales Cloud. This is a tool that reinforces a business process using a defined set of auto tasks. Why was this restricted to industry specific clouds? Or guided prompts. Even on the Unlimited version you only get 3 now. They nickle and dime you to get more and this accelerates user adoption greatly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management. Data quality monitoring. Sales pipeline and customer life cycle management. Automatic activity tracking so our sales people can do what they do best: sale! But natively these automatic logs aren't stored long enough for reporting purposes. Great pre-built dashboards and reports that can be edited for a fast starting point. Amazing support through the Trailhead Community and walk throughs on Trailhead. Complete the trail and anyone can be a basic Salesforce admin. Dont have the time to do the trails? Lot's of admins can be found for project hire in the new employer marketplace. Everything built on desktop is also automatically applied to the mobile app-no separate build needed.
Salesforce Inbox - Time savings at your fingertips!!!
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to attach outside email messages to the Salesforce profiles. It allows me to see if they have opened the correspondence and I also love the text shortcuts which also save me time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was capacity for more text shortcuts. I also remember from a while back a feature that allowed you to send contacts a message that you would like them to update their information and when they did it automatically updated in their Salesforce profile. I loved that feature and do not believe it is still available. If it is, I do not know how to access it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves me wondering whether or not someone saw and opened my messages. It also keeps me from having to retype the same standard messages over and over. I like the fact that it can attach to multiple contacts from the same company.
The sky is the limit on how Sales Cloud can enhance efficiencies for your business
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to implement quickly and easily with out of the box functionality, and from there the sky is the limit - there is very little customization that can't be accomplished either declaratively or with a third-party app. The Lightning UX is clean and intuitive for both admins and end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing for the platform is not cheap, and you are locked into your spend for the duration of your contract, so give careful consideration before purchasing additional licenses or add-on products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce Sales Cloud has significantly streamlined and automated our Sales and Customer Service processes to offer a smoother, more consistent experience for prospects and customers. The robust reporting capabilities within Sales Cloud allow our leadership team to react proactively, instead of reactively, to what is happening in our business.
Salesforce Sales Cloud Review - a user and implementer perspective
What do you like best about the product?
Salesforce CRM Sales cloud offers comprehensive, quick and versatile sales process related solutions with excellent user interface. As a result, a user can perform a wide variety of action quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike, but I wish that CPQ (Configure Price Quote), an addon, to sales cloud need to be more flexible. One needs to purchase CPQ licence just view what some other user has edited using CPQ licence
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps manage all sales related business processes and reports. As a user I can do enquiry management, opportunity management, Sales order booking, execution, dispatch management and many other applications. Apart from this the ease with which the reports and dashboards that can be created is phenominal
