Great for Retailer Management, But Needs Customization for CPG Distribution
What do you like best about the product?
Helps manage retailer relationships and track distributor performance effectively. The reporting tools provide visibility into channel sales and promotional activities across our network.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s built more for direct B2B sales than CPG distributor models. Requires significant customization to track indirect sales channels and retail execution properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It centralizes our distributor and retailer account information, eliminating scattered spreadsheets. This gives our field teams better visibility into account history, orders, and promotional calendars, helping us coordinate trade marketing activities more effectively across regions.
Great for Lead Tracking and Reporting, but List Views Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Mainly the lead and opportunity tracking and the data captured throughout the process which I can then easily turn into customised reports and dashboards, this makes running BAU and progressing in real-time work forwards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The list views are quite rigid and aren't searchable through the search function. It would be ideal to have similar functionality and editability to an excel spreadsheet within the list view
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aside from the obvious CRM functionality, we're leveraging each build to capture more data and automate processes as much as possible. We were not able to do this in our previous code heavy platform
Flexible Sales Process Customization Integrated with Product Development
What do you like best about the product?
One of the standout features is the high level of flexibility it offers for customizing the sales process, which we were able to integrate seamlessly with our product development workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some issues with lead management and importing. We require the ability to add customized fields and to initiate processes automatically after a lead is created.

Before we started using Salesforce, we didn't have a CRM or a structured sales process in place.

I appreciate how Salesforce Sales Cloud helps manage a large-scale client base efficiently and determine client priorities, which significantly benefits our organization. I find features like out-of-the-box opportunities, activities, and Chatter incredibly useful for our needs.

Powerful Customization and Integration, but Complex and Costly
What do you like best about the product?
Salesforce Sales Cloud brings structure and visibility to our entire commercial operation at isaac. It allows us to manage a complex B2B funnel end-to-end — from prospecting to post-sale — while keeping data centralized and reliable. The high level of customization, automation capabilities, and reporting flexibility are major advantages. We can tailor objects, processes, and dashboards to match our internal workflows and connect seamlessly with other tools such as Marketing Cloud, BigQuery, and Metabase. This integration makes it much easier to monitor sales performance and align our teams on clear, data-driven decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform’s biggest challenge is its complexity. Even small configuration changes often require technical expertise, which can slow down improvements and increase dependency on specialized support. The user interface could also be more intuitive for non-technical users, especially when navigating long opportunity flows or updating multiple records. In addition, the cost of certain add-ons and integrations can be high, which may limit how fast teams can scale their use of the platform.

Salesforce Sales Cloud helps isaac centralize and structure all sales data, eliminating information silos between teams. Before using it, we faced challenges with scattered lead tracking, manual updates, and limited visibility into conversion performance. Now, the platform allows us to manage the entire sales funnel — from lead origination to contract signature — with clear accountability at each stage.
The ability to integrate with tools like Marketing Cloud and BigQuery has been key to improving forecasting accuracy and measuring CAC/GTV efficiency. Overall, it provides a reliable single source of truth for commercial planning and performance management.

Effective and User-Friendly, but Documentation Needs Improvement

Continues improvement from salesforce to outreach the customers. How easy and effective to build and use the application

Lately we are seeing issues with salesforce on the documentation as they are improving the platform. So documentation become outdated
