This tool assists sales agents in generating opportunities and building business. It supports their efforts to identify prospects and develop new business relationships.
Powerful and Customizable Sales Cloud, but User Adoption Remains a Challenge
What do you like best about the product?
Sales Cloud offers almost everything we need to run our sales organization out of the box. Easy customization of core workflows and objects let us personalize for our business without requiring huge resources. With a team of ~8 we’re able to support 1500+ active users - both in their day to day and longer term planning. The easy integrations with other third party tools and our own inhouse systems makes Sales Cloud the perfect “quarterback” for our sales team.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it’s a consistent afterthought for our users. People go to CRM because we make them - and making it easier to integrate directly into the conversation would be a game changer for us. The new Slack features may help enable that, but to turn it into the true homebase we have to do several things very well - which takes more effort to get out of Salesforce than just doing many things sufficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce Sales Cloud helps bring together our sales, marketing, and ops organizations around a shared GTM motion - the Opportunity. Using the out of box Object with some customization means we can easily connect orgs at each stage - the pitch (coordinating deck creation, finding stats, scheduling), the order execution (the signed order, billing terms, etc.), and support (help). Every employee has the exact same information, helping create a consistent customer experience and seamless GTM growth.

While Salesforce Sales Cloud is powerful, it can be complex to configure and maintain, especially for non-technical users

Salesforce Sales Cloud helps us centralize all customer and product information in one place, giving our sales teams a clear, real-time view of opportunities, accounts, and contacts.
Highly Customizable Sales Cloud Lets Us Shape It to Our Needs
What do you like best about the product?
With custom code, LWC, and screen flows, we have the flexibility to shape Sales Cloud into whatever we require. Ultimately, it’s in our hands to decide how we use it.

There always seem to be unexpected limitations. Some features or ideas have been requested for over 15 years, even though they seem like they should be obvious additions.

Our representatives are able to monitor customer visits and calls, allowing them to develop account plans that help us keep track of our relationships with our most important customers.

Great UI, but Integration and Spanish Training Resources Need Improvement

The user interface is intuitive, which makes it easier to adapt to the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ease pf integration of the data with other clouds (products) downside, the training resources in spanish aren’t as good and complete as in English

Traceability of the customer's lifespan is important, as well as having an integrated data source for the entire lead and conversion process.
