Centralized Sales Management with Customization Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Salesforce Sales Cloud is the level of visibility and control it provides across the entire sales process. Everything from lead intent to opportunity progression is tracked in one system, which makes it much easier to understand where deals stand right now and what actions are needed next. The platform is highly customizable, allowing us to tailor objects, automation, and workflows to match our specific sales processes rather than forcing us into a rigid system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some areas of Salesforce Sales Cloud could be improved to enhance usability and efficiency. Its flexibility often comes with added complexity, meaning even simple process changes can require significant configuration effort or admin involvement. The learning curve can be steep for new users due to the number of features and customization options available. Additionally, performance can occasionally feel slower, especially when working with highly customized organizations or large data volumes, particularly in complex reports and dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce Sales Cloud solves fragmented sales management issues, centralizing data for better pipeline visibility, automating processes, ensuring consistent sales, and providing real-time reporting. It improves decision-making, speeds up response times, and enhances team collaboration.
Sales Cloud - The Package that helps every type of business
What do you like best about the product?
As a developer, when the customer comes with any problem or any new requirement which they want to get implemented related to sales, The Sales Cloud offers various standard objects which is very useful and speeds up the implementation as most of the things are available out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a requirement in which we had to enable the Person Account. But the limitation of Sales Cloud or we can say it is a Salesforce limitation that once the Person Account is enabled, we cannot disable it. Which can cause issues if there is a need to do a rollback, we simply cant disable that option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our client business, they have two operating models, B2B and B2C. Till now they had created various record types for differentiating the type of Contact to be used. But after our implementation, we enabled Person Account which clearly helps a lot in bifurcating both type of records.
Streamlined Sales Management and Better Visibility with Salesforce Sales Cloud
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Salesforce Sales Cloud is how well it organizes the entire sales process. It becomes very easy to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions all in one place. The dashboards and reports give a clear view of the pipeline, and the automation features help save a lot of manual effort. Once everything is set up, it really improves visibility and makes the team more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is the learning curve. New users often find the interface a bit overwhelming because there are so many features and settings. Sometimes simple actions take more clicks than expected, and system updates occasionally change the layout, which requires re-adjustment. Apart from that, most things work well once you get used to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before adopting Salesforce Sales Cloud, our team struggled with scattered data - leads, contacts, and opportunities were often tracked in spreadsheets, emails, or different tools. This caused confusion, duplicate work, missed follow-ups, and lack of clarity about the sales pipeline.
With Sales Cloud, we now have a unified, central system where all sales data lives. That means every lead, contact, opportunity, and customer interaction is organized in one place. The result: fewer missed follow-ups, clearer visibility into deal stages, and better coordination across team members.
Automation features (like reminders, workflows, and validation rules) further reduce manual work and human error. The dashboards and reports provide real-time insight into pipeline health, conversion rates, and performance metrics , enabling smarter, data-driven decisions.
In short: Sales Cloud helps us work more efficiently, stay organized, avoid mistakes, and focus energy on selling rather than managing spreadsheets.

What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud is that it can feel complex at times, especially for new users.
Some features require training to be used effectively, and without good governance the system can become cluttered with too many fields or processes.
Additionally, certain customizations and integrations may require technical support, which can slow things down if not well planned.
