What do you like best about the product?
One of the things that fascinate me is that it is very easy to use, and many people can work based on the same edition at any given time. I also like it because it communicates to me when I complete a task, that is, the notifications are very good and do not delay at all. Another differentiating element of this software with those of its competition is that it integrates very well with other platforms, also that it is very fluid and easy to configure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have many complaints about this program, I would only say that it would be great if they reinforced the monitoring of checklists, this would lead to greater monitoring in the way we carry out the work. However, we have been able to have decent control within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software is used in the company in order to keep track of projects, tasks, sub tasks and schedules. Basically it is practically tied to our environment every day, it is part of the tools of greater usability and the whole family of the company is coupled to its system. It meets the minimum requirements and in turn gives us the advantage of maintaining an order that was previously demanded.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommended for those who need to have an agile and efficient control of their projects. The interface is very good, I really like it and it is something that will make everything much easier. In turn you can see later that the company will have a good technical support since monday.com has the best experts at the time of a problem.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is an easy to use tool, you can manage multiple projects within the platform. You can manage and play around with the boards and widgets. You can easily track the progress of a board and the performance of a team. It is a great tool to visualize a marketing tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite the tool is pretty flexible with the configuration, if you want to change the name of the columns for a group, you need to do it in a different board. This is not ideal when you want to have all of your groups in a same board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing daily activities and monthly projects. You can visualize where you at in each project if you feed the tool.

Organizing tasks with Monday

What do you like best about the product?
It has a fairly friendly and intuitive interface.
You can organize your tasks in a fairly functional panel.
You can set reminders when a task is due.
Very good for collaborative space and agile methodologies.
It is very easy to keep track of projects and with a simple board you can visualize the progress of it.
The configuration is very simple and there is a lot of documentation about it.
Using cloud version allows you to save installation and have a DRP.
it easy to understand the Gantt Chart / Project Map
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is relatively expensive, but if your organization has a large number of employees.
Some updates are made without warning and there are small intervals of unavailability.
It is difficult to visualize the critical path of a project.
You must train staff in the use of the tool.
On some smartphones the website is distorted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have not had any problem using monday.com but I think it should be noted that when we started to implement Jira, we left Monday as the task scheduling system and thus be able to take out the timesheets for the payroll payment of the staff.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Monday.com as a collaborative tool for high performance agile teams to carry out the daily tasks and activities of the various teams in an organization because it is easy to use, intuitive, looks pretty good and is very stable.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a great way to stay organized. My personal favorite is that you can keep track of budgets with the Excel-like column feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday is a bit lacking in streamlining tasks and project management. I much prefer Asana’s way of keeping track of tasks and their digest once you login.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday helps my team be much more efficient. It’s a great way to track design requests and campaign budgets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It’s great if you have a small team and need a simple tool for organization.

What do you like best about the product?
The graphic design. To have a complete vision of all the tasks I have to do and to be able to add notes to each task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to create more sheets that have the tasks synchronised among them.
In this way I will be able to share one sheet with my customer and the same one just for me in which I can add my consideration, notes etc.

I can share the tasks to do with my team and have a tracking of the work in progress

What do you like best about the product?
It has a plethora of options and tools. So many we sometimes have a hard time to pick how we want to organize things.

Assigning people to projects, viewing priorities, timelines, etc etc etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Colors: the color palette is bad, there is no way to customize it, and especially the Timeline widget, the user can't even pick the colors and the default ones are terrible.

Groups: nice to group, but one can only group by one column. We really need the ability to view data, in separate views, grouped differently. For instance, sometimes we need to group by location, others by project, others by person... we can't achieve all - the only way is to move everything to other groups. What we need is something like pivot tables in Excel: the ability to move around the columns the way we need to group the data at a specific moment. Or in other words, have a "Group view", and select which existing column should be used to group data (and it not be a manual, single-column effort).

Timelines of people versus projects: partially achieved by having Projects and People boards, and joining via Timeline widget. But hard to link a person with a project (that is, the person's timeline to use the timeline of the project).

Sub-tasks: a same project can have many tasks. Currently they're all separate and we have to keep repeating information such as project name/number, client, etc. and change only some columns. Ideally sub-tasks would exist, inheriting selected data from the main task.

Time-tracking: nice that it's there, but many buttons to push and steps to log. Have you seen Toggl.com? Monday could incorporate a Toggl-like tool: pick/type/auto-fill a project name/number and start logging. Start/stop buttons. And the users' times be added to that project.

Dates as dates: when importing data from Excel, dates came in as Excel numbers (43xxx). I only noticed that too late, and we're not going to import and customize all over again...

Date picker: user can't type a date, can only pick from calendar. Very cumbersome when having to edit multiple rows. Why not just allow typing like in Excel? Type 04/11 and it gets that I'm trying to enter 04/November/2019. Or type full dd/mm/yy.

Copy/paste: can't copy a date from one row and paste in the same column in another row. Can't paste along the same column in multiple rows (I would like to copy all those dates - now as text - from Excel and paste over the column in Monday).

Status columns: some widgets and views only support Status-type columns. And these always have the same appearance. For instance, we can't use Tags columns for some things, like we can with Status. I get that, but Tags allows more than one entry. The group view I suggest above would solve this.

Viewing project details in a single dashboard, arranging priorities, timelines... statuses..
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great. Too bad there's not a version for personal use.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday keeps me and my team organized and on track with less meetings because we all know what’s due and who’s working on what.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notes section is too small like an excel box and you can’t read it all unless you click on the box. Notes are easily missed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency, time saving, and organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend to use this to stay organized especially within a team. This is great for managers to see where there team is in terms of deadlines.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact you can track your tasks and also see how much time you spent on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tracking ability for repetitive tasks can feel a bit complicated when you so many, finding a way to make more simple might be better.

Tracking my own tasks and progression to help with paychecks.
