A project management tool that will change your life

What do you like best about the product?
These are a few of my favorite things about monday.com
- flexibility to customize boards to fit my needs (add/remove/customize columns, change colors)
- ability to link boards to one another
- communication within the platform (everything is tied to the project so you're not switching back and forth between the project tracker and email)
- search & filter functionality
- easy collaboration across teams with shared boards + the option to track my own projects in private boards
- the fact that everyone on my team loves it so they actually use it! it was like pulling teeth to get people to use our previous project management tool, but people love using monday!
- the calendar feature
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a way to view multiple boards at once or view a true hierarchy of boards. The existing board-linking functionality is good but I think being able to create a hierarchy would take it to the next level and save some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem monday.com helps us solve is keeping everyone on the same page when it comes to project timelines and deliverables. The calendar in particular has saved us from having to recreate our project timelines in a separate spreadsheet or Outlook calendar. For example, we can now easily see when each email is going out and categorize each email type by color.

Great tool once you get past set up

What do you like best about the product?
My full service agency was looking to transition into a tool that could handle a variety of different projects: video production, graphic design, web development, social media, etc. Monday allowed all of our (very) different teams to set up dashboards that best matched their projects and work flows. We also took advantage of the automations that allowed us to instantly notify, start and move around tasks and team members. It's time tracking abilities were also a big plus for us, we had been using a different tool but now we only have to use one.
What do you dislike about the product?
The set up was very hard for us. Monday really makes you think about your processes so you can set up the teams and dashboards in the best way. We spent all of this time mapping out our processes (Creative Brief to Account Executive to Client to Approval back to AE to Creative Team to Graphic Designer to 1st Deadline, etc) then tried to port in all of our projects from our old tool and it imported as a giant mess because our old tool was a much simpler (Task + Single Assignee + Deadline). We ended up having to manually put in all of our projects manually. Unless you have templates, automations, integrations set up just right, sometimes we felt it took longer to put in simple tasks/projects than the actual work would take. We were too small of an account to get this, but since the set up is very intensive and unique, we would have appreciated a Monday rep to help us build everything and help guide us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving a lot of our work flow gaps. We were struggling to see where our obstacles were and where projects were always getting held up. Now that we have the ability to add individual team members and relate them to specific assignment, we can see the bigger picture of our work flow and how everyone contributes.

Great for Small Teams

What do you like best about the product?
I loved the interface. I like things that are clean and easy to use. This software was just that. It had everything in one place and made it super easy for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing, but that comes with anything. I felt it was a big jump between the amount of users but it wasn't anything that kept us from trying it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure everyone is on the same page. We are a small organization but we all are in and out all day. One person may have knowledge on something else, with Monday we were able to keep track of that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a new innovative way to collaborate with your team/organization, try it out!

i love using MOnday.com is just super easy to track tasks that each person needs to deliver

I think it needs a bit more work on the dashboard to be more mobile friendly.

most of the problems we solve are communciationa nd seeing who is doing what.it is such a good tool for managers

What do you like best about the product?
This tool helps you sort out all your daily tasks like projects, individual targets, process or task tracking in a very effortless manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing looks little on the higher side. It will be helpful if it can be reduced by around 25-30%. Since this tool has really great features, pricing is the only constraint which may prevent users from buying it

Daily Productivity is increased
All the team and individual tasks can be viewed at one centralized space/dashboard
We save a lot of time using this tool

This should be your go-to tool if you are considering to generate more productivity individually or as a team in less time.

What do you like best about the product?
It is really nice to help keep yourself and your team organized for any upcoming projects that you might be working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to be use to using it or else you will forget to update your status etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to use Monday.com as a way to keep track of the different events that we have going on and that we are in charge of. It has helped each person become accountable for the different things that they have to do.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about Monday.com is the layout. It can basically be set up as a fancy excel sheet which people can then comment and have conversations on. I really enjoy the status columns and how we are able to customize them. Currently we use this as our promo calendar for multiple properties and it keeps everything in one spot nice and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that currently you cannot upload an exel doc into an existing board. You can only upload an excel do into a new board. We are figuring out a way to use zapier to make the needed connections as we update the document frequently ant it would simplify our process if we could just upload into a current board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving our problem of a promo calendar with interactivity. The ability of a status box is much cleaner and simpler for our team to update than an excel doc with multiple colors,fonts etc. This is allowing us to keep everything in one place and everything on the same page. The time tracking function is also useful as it attached to a specific task as opposed to using a different program all together.

What do you like best about the product?
I like best how easy it is to use and jump in to Monday.com, especially for our guest users. The tool is intuitive, which makes it easy to adopt across the org and improves collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday.com is getting better and better, as they improve their product and release more features but I would say that I dislike the inability to have dependent dates. I wish I could assign due dates to pulses and if I go in and update one date, it could automatically update all the others. I also wish it was easier to collaborate with Monday.com users that live in different instances of Monday.com.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving inefficiencies around project management and giving management/leadership visibility into ongoing projects that span across the org. Monday.com has helped implement a project management structure that keeps projects on time and on budget while tracking them in one, consistent place.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is an amazing solution for time management, it has all the tools needed to manage your time and your projects plus it's really beautiful and intuitive, easy to use, easy to read, very configurable, allows good collaboration, good notifications, good visualization of projects
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I can say as a con is that a relatively expensive project managing solution, I haven't found much about this software that's not to like. It might send a lot of notifications, but I think that's the point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage my team remotely for the most part, so having this tool to help manage projects and keep the team productive is great. I like the tools it offers to keep up to date with upcoming deadlines. The boards, You can add team members to a shared board and build out an entire project on the board.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product made to solve a real problem as people sometimes need a tool they can customize in a world where everything is so cookie-cutter, We gained a lot of improvement in our projects and time management.

Delightful application to track efficiency at work

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com help me operate a highly effective sales and research team. I would easily monitor projects, I would connect to my colleagues. It's easier to manage, especially when I deal with different team and accounts as Business Account Manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a little difficult to manage email notifications that did not meet all our contact needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me organize a team to know what happens throughout the enterprise. The interface is very user-friendly and efficient. The task to be created, moved, and assigned to various team members is so easy. I use my team and my own personal tasks to manage Monday. I appreciate the fact that every task can be easily filled with a time limit or deadline.
