Perfect for many needs

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a really great tool that can be used in so many fields because of it's diversity. You can adjust it every way you want and with new features coming so often you always have ways to adapt and improve your workflow with your team. We are using monday over a year now and there has never been a situation where I thought that anything would be quicker or easier before. On top of that the customer support is really the best I have ever seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Of course with great power comes great responsibility and of course there are some bugs and issues but the monday-team has a great way and mindset of dealing with those and the issues become minor in comparison to all the great things monday provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before monday we were using e-mails all of the time and if we didn't actively talk about it, we never really new what the others are up to. Everything came unexpected and if the jobs piled up it was really easy to lose track. Now neither of that is an issue anymore because we can always see what others are working on and balance the work internally so noone is stuck with a pile of work while the others are sitting around wondering what to do. We are 4 people in our team working with over 40 clients so that was really a game changer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to think a little out of the box regarding your workflow because you can do things in monday that maybe you have never thought about but can make life a lot easier for you.

A great tool for project management

What do you like best about the product?
I love the shareable boards so the team are always on the same page.
I love the boards for my own person daily tasks that you can copy week to week and see the full string of communication from any one pulse
Is really simple to get started and the UI is cool, following the new UI / UX development trends, it has lots of functionalities that help you organize your projects and collaborate with your teamworkers.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing at all, the product is extremely complete for me. There's nothing that needs to be adding in order to improve monday as the product is right now it is extremely useful.
I honestly do not appreciate the price, I think is kind of expensive if you compare it with similar products, some of them are free and only pay for extra features but anyway, without that in mind is a fair option to organize your workload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to collaborate on all tasks, the ability to keep track of my daily tasks and the ability to see any history of all pulses
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use shareable boards for team tasks its revolutionary. Really delve into using Monday for your whole team as its insanely good

I would like to see a possible desktop app in the future

Powerful and easy to learn

  • November 16, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is highly customizable and fits almost every need. It's very powerful but also easy to learn for beginners. What I also appreciate is that the monday crew adds new functions almost every week.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get a little slow sometimes when a board gets big.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use monday for the communication between product management and the graphic design team. Also for time management. Before monday we used emails and excel sheets but it was much more complicated and we often lost track of some jobs.

The whole team in one place

  • November 16, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It gives the whole team an opportunity to stay up to date with where we all are and what we're all working on. We meet once a week and cruise through the list from top to bottom to understand what has happened, is happening and needs to happen. It gives managers the opportunity to track progress of tasks that have been assigned and keeps people accountable to their tasks, out in the world for everyone to see.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of features that we don't make use of totally and as such I am more frustrated that we are not fully utilising the powers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No balls get dropped. All tasks are logged on Monday and by meeting once a week nothing goes undone for more than a week!

Maximum Flexibility with minimal training

  • November 16, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The wealth of features is amazing. It's so intuitive from the start. Unlike Complex PM tools, it's the most visually creative piece of software I've ever used. I'm a very visual person, and monday is the perfect tool for users like me. You can color code just about every item from a gigantic color palette. There is also a wealth of support tools online to provide support and examples of how other users have created boards and templates in a wide variety of industries and disciplines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being relatively new compared to others in the game, features are more globally applied and customizing can be a little challenging. That being said, the Monday team is unlike any other company is resolving issues or doing whatever they can to accommodate any need you have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple Projects are being tracked in different visual styles. I've gotten projects under control and completed easier and on time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Reach out to the support staff for whatever question, concern or feature you would like. They are without a doubt head and shoulders above any other company I've ever worked in any product.

Best possible project tracking tool out there...

  • November 16, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- The UI. It is very simple and intuitive to use. Sorting is awesome, moving pulses around groups is as easy as 1-2-3.
- The timeline feature is great too. I can set a timeline for each pulse and track progress.
- The search feature is extremely powerful. I can search strings, pulses, status, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any. Monday is ever evolving. With every release, it gets better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are part of the Technical Publication team. We tracking our sprint release through Monday. The integration with JIRA is icing on the cake because of all our engineering/feature tickets are tracked through JIRA.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want ease of use to manage your big projects, Monday is your best bet.

Monday is Awesome!

  • November 16, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Monday allows our staff to collaborate and track projects in real time. Being able to drag the tasks to different pulses is also very handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more colors when creating tags. Also would be nice if they had checklists that were editable by everyone instead of just the creator.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has solved our confusion during projects and allowed us to really come together as a team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great way to organize projects and tasks for a team of people

Love it! Monday.com saved me.

  • November 16, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that everything in centralized and searchable and linkable. People in my office say why use Monday.com all that can be done in Excel and they are so wrong. If I had to go and find all this information via Excel and multiple spreadsheets saved in different folders it would take forever. Plus other people might have the file open that would impact me. When I get to the boardroom I pull up Monday and there is all the info I need. My boss can ask me anything! I even save email history to Monday.com. It also allows my boss to "self-sever" on his phone. It is a lot of info to process on a phone but for the most part he can review the lists and then just ask me specific questions vs being reliant on me to update him on everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to email to the program. Its not hard but you need to copy and paste the email address and I wish it was easier to copy the email address or that they had a plugin from outlook and I could select the correct pluse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it Monday for supply chain management. We manufacture supplements. So I track what products I need to make and what stage they are at. I track what raw materials I need to order and how much and if the raw material has been approved. I use it for PO approval with both the Controller and the head of regulator. We had a problem with regulatory and I ordered the wrong raw ingredient which she had not approved. Since then we created a process in Monday for my regulatory person to double check my PO and ensure I am ordering the approved product. I list the PO as a pulse. Send message within Monday requesting approval. The controller and regulatory person each have status field and they change it to approved or message me back if there is an issue. After I see it is approved I email the PO. It give us viability and tracking. When I was just emailing for approval we lost track of what needed to be approved. Now we know.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just go for it.
