What do you like best about the product?
Monday is extremely flexible and easily modifiable. The time limits on tasks make it very easy to see how much a project has progressed (or not). I love that you can access Monday.com from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
When adjusting a completion date for a task, it is difficult to move the end date, as the entire window of time seems to expand. It's just a bit fiddly, but it is easy enough to correct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordinating everyone's achievements on tasks used to be done via email, and verbal discussions. With Monday.com, we have been able to keep everyone up to date on tasks in an efficient and well-presented way.

What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration and transparent streamlining that monday.com offers my company has been revolutionary.
The ease of use and the way in that I have been able to onboard my internal clients (Departments) and the incredible buy-in from them due to the ease of use has been incredible - from a company that has consultants ranging from 18 years old to 65+ .. all of the consultants love this program.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that alot of the time I have to think out of the box in order to accomplish some automations as opposed to have pre-built templates that would guide me in order to achieve that I want the system to do. I believe if monday.com released more standard templates to be used it would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com has enabled my company to successfully support our clients through form submissions globally - we are currently serving close to 8 different countries in Africa all through one form - and the customizations in terms of email content has been incredible.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and very flexible. Great to get an organisation and its team(s) on the same page, Share information in real time and keep jobs on track. Chock full of great features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take time to get used to it and to learn. Like all software you get out what you put in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I helps us to give vbisability to our clients on their projects. It also highlights areas where we can be more efficient.

A versatile product for task and project management

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com makes the creation of lists so incredibly easy. I utilise the product for managing our team tasks and for project management due to the versatility and usability of Monday.com. The product is visually appealing and has a very clean interface. It's so easy to change the Status of a specific item, making completion of a task a small pleasure!

My pet hate is when people try to use Excel for long lists of tabular data. Why use Excel when Monday.com performs this task so much more effectively? Use the right tool for the task! Monday.com makes collaboration on a list so easy, with the ability to add notes and files to each task, as well as auditing all updates to the item.

Finally, the automations can greatly assist productivity, performing simple tasks when specific conditions are met.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the Dashboards are useful, I find that the product doesn't support the representation of the data that I require.

Also, the cost of the product has significantly risen over the last several years we have been using it. We would ideally be utilising an Enterprise license to gain Single Sign On capabilities, but the cost is too prohibitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com assists with task and project management, and also provides a good form builder that has assisted many times over the years for quick user forms.

What do you like best about the product?
monday.com is the best tool for project management and I used this tool for one of my projects to manage the work. This tool has a very good UI. I recommend all use this tool once if you want project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used monday.com last 3 years and I feel some difficulty while giving permission to other teammates. Other than this I love the UI in this tool. Need to improve some functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday.com is solving the problem of project management and this tool is very benefiting me to handle the project. This tool gives me the best experience in project management.

Simplifies a lot of annoyances in task management

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is generally very straightforward to use and easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
While board automations are designed to be buildable by as large a user base as possible, this creates limits around what they're capable of.
Page performance is not always the best: some actions are slow to perform on the client side.
Real-time board updates don't always kick in and a user may unintentionally update information based on stale data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a common platform for all departments in our company to use for task management. This makes it simpler for us to cross-collaborate and keep a single source of truth.

What do you like best about the product?
I love a solid process and like to be creative - Monday.com brings those worlds together by enhancing what we do through clean integrations and automation while creating compelling visualizations. We can focus on the work in JIRA while using Monday.com to move the needle forward in sharing our progress with stakeholders.

Additionally, I have watched Monday.com evolve over the years, having considered it as a project management tool when it first launched as primarily a task management tool. In just a few short years, it has advanced to be a competitor with project management tools in the market. It's not perfect, but given the investment Monday.com puts into its users defining the path forward, I believe it's worth evolving alongside it. An affordable tool that works with me to build my dream tool - sign me up!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's constantly growing, but it's not there yet. I love that Monday.com doesn't want to overengineer so users can build their path forward. It would be nice if projects could carry layered details and reflect healthy risk assessment charts, so larger workstreams or roadmaps could be built dynamically in one board vs. multiple boards working together to create one picture. The fact that each group has to have the same columns and we can only go one layer deep in details can feel limiting the more complicated the project or program is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com solves our lack of solid visualizations and dashboards through thoughtful widgets that enhance the data across our portfolio in one dashboard view. In addition, bringing our tools together through their integrations and automation helps us focus on the work, not layers of reporting detail. Our dashboards are in sync with the work in the background, giving us time to focus on new initiatives and innovation.

VERY Powerful tool (once you learn how to use it)

What do you like best about the product?
I like how many options I have to organize data, automate movement, and even integrate other apps for enhanced organization and optimization. Recently, templates have helped us save time and forms have helped us gather accurate data quickly. I love how easy it is to extract and upload information and view data in different ways. Finally, the Customer Support team is TOP TIER! They always get back to us in a reasonable time manner, they often share a solution, or if needed a workaround, and I love when they add a video for clarity.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Monday.com, the only thing to keep in mind is the amount of time needed to learn how to use the tool best. In our organization, I am the "Monday Expert" and spend a few hours a week training team members on how to use the tools, helping get dashboards, automation, and integrations in place, and most recently, setting up forms. This is a VERY powerful tool, as long as you have the time to learn how to properly use each element.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most importantly, Monday.com is an organizational tool for us. We use it as a CRM, HRIS, Kanban, etc. Personally, we were having problems deciphering handwriting on a form. We recently digitized the form on Monday, and this has not only eliminated typos and mistakes we encountered after manually inputting data, it completely removed the need to input data at all.
