Intuitive platform and easy to implement.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that you can communicate with coworkers, keep them and yourself accountable, as well as customize the boards to what you want and need as a team. It makes it very convenient for me and my team to arrange and prepare new launches and what we have to do to make those releases successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like you can't configure the columns on a Monday.com board for each party. They all have to have the same columns when making a board. If it were possible to make default checklists, it would be so cool. A proportion of what is achieved while the line is closed rather than opened can also be included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our calendar of social media material keeps us coordinated, so we can quickly look back on previous posts and write notes, keep all of us updated. We also use this as a means of tracking social media analytics so you can compare easily week after week. We had no issues integrating, we really enjoyed the architecture and functionality of monday.com which makes the adapting process really quick. Acting with them is more professional and simpler.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday.com does the job every way and solutions for making redundant control lists and products that address our issues for now are open. It helps immensely with teamwork, but it keeps me and my everyday work in order with my own board. Monday.com is like your own personal calendar, and you can adapt it to any of what you want. You can connect, drop files and submit reminders about the date and customize your own columns later on on your boards.

Must-Have Business Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com gives us the ability to transform free-flowing ideas or processes people were keeping in their heads into into visible workflows that can be repeated, tweaked, and improved upon.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything in monday is intuitive. The one area I hear feedback is: Tasks can be hard to track on. Monday definitely pulls in all your tasks / items from all your boards into "My Week" for example, but folks are searching for a simpler way to visualize tasks, associate them with customers, and check those tasks off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our initial purpose / use case was to use monday.com to help us create a sequential implementation process. Since then, it has become so much more and has become an integral part of my workday. We've been able to provide our team line of sight into projects and relationships in ways we didn't know how to do before monday.

Incredibly useful for managing projects, especially with people in remote locations

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to track steps and have the client see it. Also love when they send me tips about how others are using it. I think, if I were to use it even more, that I would truly become addicted to using it for EVERYTHING--personal and business!
What do you dislike about the product?
Somewhat complex to learn, but there are videos that help
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday.com to track all the steps we need to accomplish to get a client from his home country into the country where he is going to do an internship. At a quick glance, I can see where he is in the process. Plus, the client has access to the same thing.

Main benefit for me is not having to look through files or remember--it's all there on monday.com
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at all their videos and let yourself dream a bit about how you could use it. It's powerful.

Great platform to centralize projects.

What do you like best about the product?
It is designed to conduct high-quality project management by concentrating on the team's effectiveness. It has the advantage of being able to edit email automation depending on the techniques generated by each customer. The dashboard has colorful crafted charts and graphs, which will quickly track the progress of work and decide on projects. This approach has an app for coloring code for different tasks. They will tailor the tables to your needs, making it easier to work. Monday.com also offers several guides for the prevention of wasteful time manufacturing of tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
The device sends separate alerts if it accepts and does not uninstall message settings from the outset. Functions cannot be automatically performed, the time monitoring functions are only successful if the user begins the task manually. Unlike other applications where chat options are simple to understand, chat is a little confusing to use. Depending on the work to be completed, panel and column choices may be reduced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time control is the issue addressed by this application since it includes models that can be used instead of making scratch tables. The workload of workers has now been conveniently synchronized as the dashboard reveals it in an orderly manner. We have the vast range of Scrum models and resources, from regular reports to KPI tracking, to work easily. Project and iteration management are among the most popular implementations for the Scrum tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
monday.com is able to improve very little but by undertaking a search it can improve lead management software better, everything else is fantastic from appraisal to lead generation. Lists and columns will be completed with further content initiatives. It's a great platform for keeping us in a collaborative squad. I see specifically where and where I watch my study is.

Great Tool if You Spend the Time on It

  • November 20, 2020

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is one of the best project management systems I've used in my 15 years in the marketing industry. No tool is perfect, but it's one of the best in terms of having a lot of options to set it up in a way that works for a specific team. The key is that you need a dedicated person who will do the work and invest into researching and setting up the tool in the right way that works for your company. So if you're willing to put in the time and dedicate a staff member to put in the effort, it's a great option.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was quite time consuming to set up and we ended up trying a variety of different structures before landing on one that worked for everyone on our team. Sometimes having so many options can be overwhelming, so it's imperative to have one person dedicated to setting it up in a way where they are consistently taking feedback from the team and finding new solutions to make it work for everyone. If you do that, you can likely work out all the bugs, but it's a huge time investment on the front end and ongoing for at least six months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a central location to manage all tasks of the business, including business development, pipeline management, and project and task execution. We have a small team of seven employees, however, it's been crucial to have one place where everyone goes for the information they need to do their job. We still also use OneDrive, Slack, and Google Docs, but for the most part, almost everything we work on goes through Monday.com. It's hard to find one tool that has so many different functions and Monday is good at innovating and creating new solutions consistently. So if they don't have the feature you want now, they are likely to in the future.

Amazing platform for team management

What do you like best about the product?
I love that this program brings all our departments together to accomplish tasks and provide efficiency in everything we do. We use it to track tasks for our Marketing, Development and Member Success teams as well as use the dashboards features for reporting purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be really honest, there's not really anything I dislike. They are alway innovating and adding new features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use monday.com to track our sprint tasks and things like social media calendars. This helps us make sure nothing falls through the cracks. We also use it as a makeshift system to automate calls and text messages for people that have not completed onboarding or have not paid a bill. This helps us with retention of our customers with personal touches.

We also use monday.com to run our client ambassador program. We have people that love our program so we keep track of them on a board and we are able to automatically send gifts out to them using monday.com Zapier integration.

As a current user, it is the best choice for us on the market at a good price.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to communicate with our team in real time and they continue to improve what was already the best product on the market for us.
Service is almost instantaneous, always courteous and they are engaged in finding solutions.
It is easy to see the next thing you need to do to be productive based on all the current projects you are involved in at one time.
It solves communication problems such as who said what to whom? who's responsibility was that task? what needs to be done to take the next step?
It is very helpful to be able to work with volunteers and have them each see their own "board" with things that affect them without being overwhelmed by the larger picture.
I appreciate the price break for non-profits.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have used it long enough we see even more improvements that could take it to the next level. As fast as they are, we seem to vision just a "minute" before they do ;-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interoffice communication of goals, tasks and progress without each person having a different system of tracking, so all of the team can see what needs to be done to accomplish a myriad of goals and projects simultaneously while achieving the best coordination with the team.

An invaluable part of our workflow

  • November 12, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
ability to automate tasks and collaboration tracked
What do you dislike about the product?
difficulty having the help items searching the exact issue we are looking to resolve
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping conversations about tasks in one place for reference and ability to automate notifications and hand off of tasks in our workflow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We have been using Monday.com for years in our organization in a limited way. But when the pandemic hit us in March, it became invaluable to us as we recreated our workflows and required our entire organization to use it, rather than the select few who had been prior to that point. It has become our primary way to do project management and to track the hand off of items through our workflows. It is the best way to keep all of our communications on items in one place and to be transparent across the organization when necessary or to be kept private when required.

Monday makes Monday through Friday Amazing

  • November 12, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility and onboarding speed. With no prior experience using Monday, I built a high level software engineering team project roadmap, a dozen project level sprint boards from a custom template, and an admin dashboard to aggregate from all of the above... in one day. Down the road, as new features were deployed to Monday, we were able to update our legacy boards fairly easily to match our evolving best practices and emerging tools. Monday is what you make it. The more you put in the better it gets.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need agile burn charts -- they are currently under development as an app but couldn't arrive soon enough! We need an automated way to update board schema, automations and integrations on multiple boards by updating a single parent board. Once you have more than a dozen or so project boards and realize you need to add or remove a column for this or that, it becomes a rote grind to update all project boards to match the new way of doing things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without Monday I would not be able to reasonable keep pace the volume of projects, initiatives, teams and individuals in my sphere. Carefully crafted automations and dashboards can do a lot of the tracking work for you, especially if you delegate a lot but still need to follow up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Plan your dashboards first, then build your project boards to match. Use as many automations as possible. Be Agile, revisit your project level sprint boards schema and automations after every sprint and find at least one way to improve your standard work, workflows and tracking. Empower your team, don't micromanage with down to the second time tracking (unless you're billing as an agency :).
