Remote Staff & Multiple Projects? Monday.com Keeps Everyone Informed

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a caterer and my co-worker is a wedding planner & florist working out of separate offices miles apart. Monday.com makes it easy for us to keep up with all of our events on one central calendar, as well as what items need to be accomplished for each client on their own project board. From the very first phone call lead, through client discussions, deposits and every thing that needs to be done all the way up to the couple saying "I do" can be shared between us without constantly texting or calling each other. We also love the ability to upload quotes and revisions, along with putting notes on each client's project board so we're always aware of what the conversations have been with the client or giving each other a head's up as to what the client might need next.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been so busy creating project boards and our events calendar that we haven't had a chance to set up and fully use some of the automations so that we're not duplicating information from a client's board to the "Working Leads" and "Events Calendar" So we wish there was some type of "automatic" linking that could be set up as soon as a board is created without manually having to set it up, especially when you're a new user of the Monday.com. So right now, we're probably not utilizing Monday.com to our fullest potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've eliminated the problem of not knowing what the other partner is/has done with client's during the various event planning stages. Monday.com also makes it easier to track where each client is in the planning process so that we don't miss something that the client has asked us to provide.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will love what this program does for your project timelines and staff communication to complete all your company projects and meet those overlapping deadlines.

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly, helpful tooltips for new users to learn about all features (existing and new ones), great layout and navigation between projects
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much. Adding some features to the comments section would be good.

All work is shared within the team and easily tracked

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is a great, easy and complete way to handle project management and any task or initiative tracking you would like to throw at it.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes other than user information stats like weekly usage.

Project Management, request submission and initiative usage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try Monday, you will love the automation and ease of UI. Very easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is extremely easy to use as well as to see where everything stands. Easy to keep everyone accountable for where they are in their tasks and keep the team updated on different initiatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't too much to dislike at the time.

We are able to keep track of all our different projects and initiatives. It helps keep everyone accountable.

Great tool for managing projects

What do you like best about the product?
Monday makes it easy for our team to track a variety of tasks, such as client onboarding, implementations, and business initiatives. The email notifications and reminders are great for those involved in the project team. Monday has also made it very easy to add a variety of tools, such as Kanbans and forms to make it easy for the team to collaborate in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of our clients ask for easy to read timelines they can take back to their team. It can sometimes be difficult to get the high-level Gantt chart feel that is being requested.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday allows us to connect with internal and external teams. Allowing guest subscribers access to only certain boards has been a positive as we collaborate with a variety of clients.

What do you like best about the product?
Customer service - responses to emails are quick and helpful.
Also, even if something doesn't work as you want it to on the face of it, there always seems to be a work around that does the job.
And automations are great!
What do you dislike about the product?
Extra functionality is an add-on expense. I would prefer to pay up-front for all functionality and only have to pay for additional users - that way I only pay more as my company grows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking progression of various projects. Identifying bottlenecks and people responsible.
Benefits: using monday.com as a document repository. Communicating effectively in my team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
monday.com can organise just about anything. Discovering it's capacity is exciting!

What do you like best about the product?
Monday has SO much power for organisation and planning - we are a bit awed by it. It is pretty instinctive and fun to use and allows for all sorts of different ways of arranging, tracking, nudging and monitoring. The support information is fab and there is almost always a short video or help note on the very thing you want to do. The integrations are good and improving and the little bespoke things that you can automate are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not dislike - just the power of the tools means that it takes a bit of time to really get to grips with it. We were off the blocks and using it almost immediately - but with the benefit of a bit of hindsight might have done a few things differently in setting up boards etc. More about us than about Monday
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As Chief Exec, I have to keep my eyes on a lot of spinning plates. I am often keen to understand and drive progress in projects or tasks that my team are responsible for and Monday helps me to do this without confusing ownership or getting too involved in the details. The team keep control of their own items and it is easy to update and share news. The integration with outlook has meant that I can send things that I want to track to my board straight from my inbox. This is really helpful and saves time and double handling.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday has been an easy tool to adapt to our teams needs and quickly stand up a singular source for all project updates and timeline tracking. The new integration with Microsoft Teams has also been incredibly useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UI and functionality is a little clunky and limited on customization, but if you're looking for something quick and basic, Monday will more than suffice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team has been able to minimize the amount of platforms we use to get our project updates and track timelines. It has been super helpful consolidating all of these items into one single platform that we can add other leaders and stakeholders into for visibility as well.
