OpenSesame delivers robust content
What do you like best about the product?
Access to new, timely, and modern content for training and development of our 500+ employees. The customer success team takes the time to learn about our company's needs and priorities and curates content that aligns with the learning needs of our employee-base. Content remains relevant for new hires and licenses, certified operators.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honing in on the vast library can be overwhelming to try and identify the published work from mulitple vendors and identifying the content that most resonates with team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Curating new content that helps train employees on manufacturing and machine operating. Compliance Courses for OSHA, Diversity and Inclusion, Active Shooter, Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the depth and breadth of their catalog. They have courses on all manner of topics as well all different styles. I especially like their vendors for executive book summaries.
In addition to the catalog itself, everyone I have worked with there has been a pleasure. Both my initial sales person (Angie) and my current acount rep. (Leo) are fantatstic.

What do you dislike about the product?
The catalog is very broad. There definitely are a large number of courses that don't really provide value. It is certainly a lot to sift through, though their curation team is always standing by to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to be able to offer a catalog of content for our folks to help them develop professionally. In addtion, we use their vast catalog for our safety and compliance programs.

OpenSeame is very easy to use. My account rep and I have a great relationship. She is extremely helpful. The company listens to suggestions and continues to implement changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of certification programs available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpenSesame gives us access to a variety of courses and helps me diversify the learning needs of my staff.
OpenSesame Continues to Over Deliver
What do you like best about the product?
We're always impressed with the variety of high-quality publishers that continue to be added to the catalog. When we have an immediate training need or issue to be addressed, we are never disappointed with the multiple options we find, which helps us with a quick solution. We've also had fantastic support from our Customer Success Manager, BJ. He's very responsive to our questions and requests while providing us with more resources than we expect. OpenSesame continues to delight and surprise us with the course catalog and the attention to customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only one administrator is allowed, but I've heard that they are working on changing that to accomodate multiple administrators to manage courses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are piloting AI options and needed training resources for employees. OpenSesame has a growing list of content on AI and we were able to provide training courses within a couple of days of getting the request.
A great solution for companies that are just getting into Learning or have been doing it for years.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I have the ability to curate a catalog for our employees that focuses on the skills that our employees are asking to improve and to use publishers that resonate best with our culture. It is easy to move the courses into our LMS and quickly see real time results of usage. In addition, our customer sucess manager is very responsive with any of our questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amout of courses available is so large that it can be a chore to find the best one for our needs, but the curation team has been a great resource in helping to narrow down the list.

We use OpenSesame to develop soft skills across the organization.

can't think of anything, the integration between our LMS sometimes is slow.

My CRM is amazing, she is always trying to help me find new ways to make learning with OpenSesame easy for my employees

I dont have anything that I dislike about OpenSesame.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small company, so having video to help out with the learning and talent developpement. Management training, situational training, even specialisation like Project Managers and Lean Six Sigma are thing that is a ''bonus'' to our program.

OpenSesame has great learning opportunities for all users. Their customer support is also great!

We like OpenSesame. Nothing that we dislike.

Great variety of content!
What do you like best about the product?
Great variety of content. They have almost every possible corporate training topic you may need. This is especially valuable for compliance related training. They are also easy to integrate with Workday (which is surprising to me as this LMS is not best). Their customer service is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality of their training is ok, but not great. There are not many activities that people can complete as part of the trainings integrating those activities to practical application. There are also some outdated training styles or too “creative” (not in a good way), which makes learners frustrated. I would still go back to using OpenSesame if I’m in the market for a content provider, especially when cost is involved as they are very affordable.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm most grateful to my customer success manager, Kelly Robinson! Although we are in entirely different time zones, she always makes time for my questions and curates thoughtful business reviews each quarter. Kelly is responsive, a life-long learner, and a fantastic partner in curating incredible resources for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
SCORM file uploads are arduous in our current LMS. I wish there were a better integration.

They have relevant, vetted content that offers upskilling, reskilling, and certification opportunities.
