Fantastic User Experience with Stellar Support
What do you like best about the product?
I use OpenSesame for curating course material and it does a great job of making learning fun and engaging. It provides opportunities to showcase different ways to bring new content to our organization, helping maintain a high learning culture and keeping things fresh. However, what stands out to me the most about OpenSesame is their customer service. I always have access to a team member whenever needed, and I get quick answers to any problems or recommendations. The two-way communication is timely and extremely beneficial for the success of our learning. Additionally, the initial setup with OpenSesame was super easy, with their supportive staff answering all our questions as we navigated deeper into the content management. I also appreciate that OpenSesame is very forward-thinking by continuously adding new features that meet the emerging needs of our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think with OpenSesame, the one thing that would be extremely beneficial is the ability to customize courses. Like, if we don't need the full two-hour course but just a twenty-minute segment, that customization would be super helpful. Also, a lot of the courses in OpenSesame have the same exact titles, which doesn't seem appealing to learners. It would be beneficial to customize the titles of courses as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpenSesame makes learning fun and engaging, letting me introduce new content and keep our high learning culture fresh.
Exceptional Training Library and Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
I like the number of trainings that are available and the fact they are always looking to improve the number of offerings as well as the level of quality. The customer service is also exceptional especially their willingness to provide specific data as to our usage of the system and its courses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any dislikes of their platform or the courses they offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing specific trainings that our users can access all in one place as well as the courses that can lead to CEUs (Continuing Education Units).
Easy Access to High-Quality Courses with Smooth LMS Integration
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about OpenSesame is how easy it is to find high-quality courses on just about any topic without having to build everything from scratch. The variety is great, so you can quickly plug learning gaps with content that’s already well produced and ready to go. I also appreciate how smoothly it integrates with LMS platforms, which makes launching and tracking training way simpler. Overall, it’s a super convenient way to scale learning programs without reinventing the wheel every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that with so many courses available, it can sometimes take a bit of digging to find the ones that really fit your audience. The quality is generally solid, but it can vary between publishers, so you still have to review content before assigning it. Some courses can also feel a little generic if you’re looking for something very specific to your company or industry. Overall, it’s a great resource, but it works best when paired with some internal, customized learning too.

OpenSesame helps solve the challenge of needing quality training content without having to build every course internally. It gives us quick access to a wide range of topics so we can support development, compliance, and skill building without a huge lift from our team. That saves time and lets us focus more on strategy and the learning experience instead of just content creation. Overall, it helps us scale learning faster and keep resources fresh for our associates.

there isnt much to dislike about OpenSesame. it's not the cheapest product on the market but you get what you pay for.

It helps keep our teams compliant and up to date on skills and trainings. It also reduces the time needed to stand up new content.

What do you like best about the product?
The learning content, along with the CSM and curation team, is truly legendary. Their support has helped us shift our culture in a meaningful way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like more cross-company connections so I can understand what’s working for other orgs and adopt the best content. That would make my life a little easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s helping us with skill-building and certification prep for our team members. They also feel that we’re invested in their development, which has been a real positive.
Exceptional Course Library and Responsive Support from Georgia
What do you like best about the product?
OpenSesame offers a lot of exceptional content on their platform to choose from. Georgia is wonderful to work with—she’s very responsive and always willing to help us pull courses together so we can decide what best fits our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration of files to LCvista is very manual. Learning Objectives do not transfer over.

It provides training content and helps fill our training needs.

What do you like best about the product?
Open Sesame offers extensive support to its customers through a variety of channels. They organize monthly webinars focused on relevant L&D topics, deliver prompt troubleshooting help when needed, and provide tailored curation assistance via their dedicated in-house team. Additionally, their customer support team ensures clients are well-informed by holding one-on-one quarterly meetings to discuss new publishers, platform innovations, and any recent changes.

What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboards take a long time to load, which discourages me from using them as frequently as I might otherwise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a very small team within a large company, using Open Sesame for content has enabled us to concentrate on developing our own internally-focused and branded courses. At the same time, we are still able to provide a wide range of content across various subject and competency areas.
Outstanding Course Selection and Exceptional Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
Great (and increasing) selection of e-learning courses; excellent and responsive customer service. The platform is easy to search and use, and the resulting materials integrate well into our LMS, Docebo. I use Open Sesame frequently in the course of my work to source training to meet emerging learner needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
May be missing some niche content, depending on industry, though they make an effort to continually source.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a large and rapidly growing organization spread across the country, our training needs are broad, and OpenSesame provides the training we don't have time to create internally, allowing our internal team to create maximum value.
Engaging, Up-to-Date Courses with Fast Content Updates
What do you like best about the product?
The course contents are interesting and valuable. The update of the content and vendor are fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Retiring courses are informed later. It would be good if the retired courses can state "Retired" instead let the users wait in the Loading screen.

Mostly helps users to better understand in technical or soft skill area.
