Review of Open Sesame

  • February 05, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Customer Success Manager is brilliant. Always on hand to provide support and guidance. The depth and breadth of content is also a huge benefit, meaning we're never without a solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to being a global organisation, we would always benefit from additional language options on content, although I notice this is always improving with OpenSesame. Additionally, it would be handy for system admins to preview an entire course before downloading it, in order to fully understand appropriateness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpenSesame provides us with learning solutions for all of our mandatory & compliance needs, from GDPR to health & safety, to code of conduct. This enables much more engaging and relevant learning experiences for our people to maximise the transfer of learning, whilst reducing costs vs us buying each course individually.
Additionally, OpenSesame serves as a means for us to develop management and leadership capability within the organisation, through online self-directed courses, as well as having courses blended in with live experiences around the businesses.
Finally, the content has been essential to our awareness raising initiatives around DEI, including recently launching new DEI policies with accompanying learning.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the amount of content they have to offer. You can truly find content covering almost any topic and with multiple choices, you aren't stuck with just one piece of content. There are several in every category (it seems) so you can find the one that is the most suitable for your organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. We've been very pleased with all aspects!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not want to make our own content when it comes to compliance-related classes - sexual harassment, drug-free workplace, OSHA, etc. - and OpenSesame helps us satisfy those requirements without any heavy lifting on our side.

What do you like best about the product?
Their expansive library of content and their curation team's abilities aid in finding the more relevant content for you. Their customer service is also very responsive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there was a way in the integration process that would keep and pre-bundle the created lists to be the same once uploaded into the LMS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the need for diversity and variety in learning content that does not need to be created in house or outsourced. It helping us provide fast and easy learning solutions to our employees and save a bit along the way.

The best customer service experience one could ask for!

What do you like best about the product?
My association with OpenSesame started when I joined my company in 2021. What I immediately liked about it was the ability to curate topics that are relevant for our learners instead of bombarding them with the entire catalog. Since then until today, Neville who is the customer success manager from OpenSesame who handles our account has ensured that he's always prompt with his responses, solution oriented, does a quarterly periodic review of our learner metrics and keeps us posted on the new additions to their library which is quite helpful in leveraging it efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I do like the curation model, on occasion due to the ever changing business landscape I feel like it might be nice if our learners had access to the entire library instead of us deciding what's best to add into our LMS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting the latest, engaging, relevant content to our learners across the business, leadership, compliance, regulatory, behavioural categories

    Retail

One of the best course vendors

  • February 02, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The depth of content across numerous topics and created by a variety of creators.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the courses are way too long. For instance, if I want to learn how to use Google Gmail, I don't need a 1 hour course. The ability to pull from content to create specific lessons would be so helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Availability of numerous topics that are generic which we do not have to "reinvent the wheel".
