What do you like best about the product?
Variety of quality courses is great but the curation team and customer support team are the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had nothing but a positive experience with Open Sesame
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Change management, Leadership, Safety, Office skills and compliance needs are all able to be augmented with course selections availalbe.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Customer support and curation team are top of the line!

What do you like best about the product?
Responsiveness of the custoemr service staff

The lack of industrial content. There are many providers of common topics, offering more manufacturing centric content would offer good differentiation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basic compliance (HR and Safety) with a few selected individual technical skills courses

What do you like best about the product?
I love the variety of different types of classes that are offered through Open Sesame. This is something for everyone. I also enjoy that there are different vendors that provide a variety of styles of classes. I love that some of the courses come in multiple languages which is huge for the company I work for.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about Open Sesame. They have great customer service and a wide range of classes, and it integrates well with our existing LMS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To provide more training opportunities to our employees.

Expert Curation and Easy Implementation

What do you like best about the product?
The account management is tailored to our organization and use-case. We are able to bring a business problem to them, and they curate content for us in less than a week (usually much faster!). They handle the relationship with our LMS as well, so no "technical jargon" is needed for us to get the best support possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike! We do sometimes get let-down when a course isn't available for Plus users/subscribers, but recognize that's part of the model. The account manager and those in the curation community are always ready to listen to our requests for new vendors available on plus!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have replaced a ton of piecemealed vendors with one solution in one place that integrates with our LMS. Instead of us seeking out and vetting vendors, we can spend time with our internal customers solving their business problems!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not hesitate! Bring them a topic you need training content around, and they will help you find the best vendors and modules for the topic. We have found you can be as general or specific as you want, and they will do their best to deliver.

One-Stop Shop for a Wide Variety of Content

What do you like best about the product?
They have a "Plus" subscription that allows you to use content from a wide variety of the vendors. The content ranges from soft skills, technology, regulatory, DEI, and certifications. They have an evaluation that your team completes to showcase examples from their different vendors and allows you to rate their courses. From that evaluation, they determine the vendors you would most likely want to pull content from. Also, they assign an account rep to for your account and they assist with curating content and helping integrate with your LMS if that is needed. Our account rep Ashley is the best!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the content from certain vendors isn't at the level of our expectations. Some content vendors are better than others. OpenSesame does a good of vetting their content vendors and the ratings on the content gives a good idea of what others think.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed additional content to add to our LMS on soft skills, technology and DEI. We wanted to be able to tie more training to specific competencies that we were rating our associates on. Mapping the courses back to the skills, helps us provide more learning opportunities for our associates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Conduct a demo and review their content. Compared to other content providers, from a cost perspective, they are much more affordable. But that doesn't mean the content quality is any less than their competition.

Love OpenSesame!

What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can go in and preview courses and curate lists that are customized to your work environment. I have really appreciated, Jade, Jake and Tyler's support, they have been great to work with. With our breadth of employees who are high-school graduates to PhD's, I can find something for every employee at OpenSesame. I just put together and downloaded our Plus 25 list to deploy to our agency. The LMS interface is seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any downside, but you do have to set aside time to do the previews on the classes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the ability to quickly deploy all types of training for a diverse audience at our agency, solving our diversity training content and solving for our agency only having to eLearning developers. OpenSesame is solving for a variety of our issues.

Great source of supplemental learning and development content

What do you like best about the product?
There are a variety of content providers bringing different visual perspectives and approaches to topics as well as various formats, lengths and topic range. Our account rep. is great at providing updates, responding to questions and overall being very accessible when we have needs. We don't really have any additional dislikes, I just need to add more words to boost my score on this thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the content can be on the lower end of production or professional quality though there are filters for ratings and OS will share their top content providers to help sort through content. We don't really have any additional dislikes, I just need to add more words to boost my score on this thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sexual harassment training, supplemental content for leadership, communication, basic software programs and more. We use content for new leaders, front line staff and to meet compliance requirements. The content also helps us limit how much we have to design internally. We don't really have any additional dislikes, I just need to add more words to boost my score on this thing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Continue refining content providers with a preference for higher quality while eliminating lower rating providers. Service levels are good and the system is pretty reliable so please keep doing that.

What do you like best about the product?
I like having access to a large number of publishers in one location. It's also beneficial to review their ratings, sample the courses, and create my own list of curated content. Very easy to use and happy with the selections.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know TED is a new partner for OpenSesame and would like to see more of their content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to build learning paths that are aligned with our competencies using a variety of publishers. It creates a custom approach for the various skill levels at our company.
