Open Sesame Review
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the volume of content that is available for organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There needs to be a catalog available for reference of courses by subject and lesson.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, Open Sesame is filling a gap with learning available.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Open Sesame has been worth the investment for our organization. When you compare the courses offered and the quality of the content, you just cannot beat the total cost of ownership. As with any learning content, you need a solid strategy in how to maximize the offerings. Open Sesame is hands down the best organization that I have worked with when it comes to helping me with my organization's needs.

What do you like best about the product?
There's a lot of content to choose from on multiple topics. The leadership and communication trainings that are offered have a wide variety of types to choose from: humor, basic, in-depth, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some industry-specific items that aren't available in the technology field. Things like CPNI or Juniper content would be worthwhile for our employees and team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to provide training for enhanced skills for our staff and remain in compliance. Our leaders have become better communicators and our employees have been able to access content to help their careers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Rollout is a key part of this content and I'd highly advise you to use your customer success manager during it. Our CSM was able to help us considerably on marketing and assisting with the content curation.
Highly recommend for elearning
What do you like best about the product?
I love all the options for elearning, languages, the customer service, really everything about it is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont love that you cant tell what trainings are catered for certain countries (some are made by UK, some US, etc can be specific to their country laws).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
they are helping us get all of our compliance trainings complete
OpenSesame is a GREAT Business Partner.
What do you like best about the product?
The OS procurement team is always looking for new content. Each month new titles are added so we are able to update and keep new and fresh content for our teams. I also appreciate being part of the customer review team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish OS had additional courses for retirement communities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use OS as a blended solution for our leadership development training as well as for our compliance training.
Too many courses, so need to be cured well

Your staff was very helpful, and diligently check with us for updating or informing.

It is not easy for me to choose the right courses from too many choices.

providing training resources for leaders, engineers, and professional areas with saving time and cost.
Over the top for OpenSesame!
What do you like best about the product?
The entire Team experience with OpenSesame has been great. The team is great to work with and helping put together a list of courses that are going to help our employees. If I can't find it, I know that they will be able to help me quickly. In addition, they are always there to answer my questions. There have been times that I have come up with some off the wall things that I might need to find a course, and they always come through. We have been able to send out monthly emails with the suggested themes from OpenSesame. They strategize with us to get the most use out of the product. Truly a great team experience all around. They even help us look at the ROI and make sure that we are meeting company needs. This team is top notch!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this point has been a disappointment.

Business need training, leadership training and cost savings to have things run through OpenSesame versus bringing in outside training.
Great Selection of Interactive Training
What do you like best about the product?
Every time one of my stakeholders has come to me and asked if we had access to training that would meet their needs I have been able to provide it through our course selections in OpenSesame.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the courses are complicated to navigate by people who do not use computers frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
COVID - 19 compliance was not on our radar when we selected OpenSesame. They quickly provided a variety of training to meet our needs so that we could keep our team members safe and informed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
OpenSesame offers a large selection of interactive courses on a variety of topics. Their support team is very helpful.
Love it. Worth it. Diverse. Wish they had more tech courses.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the SMART lists option. I love the diversity of the courses and publishers available and the 24/7 support. Everyone has been helpful from the time we started searching and onward for a content provider.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had more TECH and IDE course options. And just strictly videos. Not just individual courses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving our training challenges. We're solving turnover issues. We're solving compliancy issues. We're making our company more lean, mean and definitely more well-informed. it also is a great conversation piece. It helps us stay on the same page regarding training and company values.

It's great. Amazing choice. Can't go wrong.
Great selection of content and great partner
What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can find the exact content I am looking for. Whether it is the language or style or topic, I seem to always be able to find exactly what I am looking for. Also, their team is great to partner with and is always there to help. There have been several times where I get a list of needs from people in the business and I can share that with OpenSesame and they map courses to the needs that we are requesting. And they are always fast in getting needs back to us.
Also their recent addition of TED@Work content has been a great win with our organization.

What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything that I can think of right of the top of my head. If I had to choose one thing though, it would be that I wish more of there courses were in more languages or that if you found a course you like in english but needed it in chinese, it would suggest a course to you that would fit your need. There is plenty that has subtitles, but I would like to see more content in the actual spoken language of some of the more specific or technical content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are providing not only professional development content, but also leveraging some of their compliance content and starting to use some of their content around certifications and ceu's.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I love how they are not LMS specific. They can work with any LMS. They have a direct integration with some, but you can export a scorm or aicc file to use with essentially LMS you have.

It is very easy to search the catalog and create sharable list.
What do you dislike about the product?
Less content around the more popular subjects like communication. Pick out the top few and get rid of the rest. There are too many options and some of them seem to be bad quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We like having OpenSesame solve our compliance and safety training requirement s. Using them makes it easy to find the right content provided by a trusted publisher.

Great to share with department heads to get a well-rounded course catalog. I would recommend using for your compliance and safety training needs!
