Open Sesame is a well - rounded resource for professionals
What do you like best about the product?
Open Sesame is easy to use for the end user when searching the catalog; the pricing is reasonable and the customer service IS EXCEPTIONAL and quick to respond.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our organization is in large part a retailer. There are not a lot of courses for our store associates around the topic of retail merchandising. It's a hard topic for virtual creation BUT, I am asked at least once a week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Open Sesame has been a HUGE addition to our resources, especially during pandemic. We have used their resources to teach MS Teams to our head quarters population. We have also been able to build development requirements into our work performance reviews which are allowing us to train up our teams and grow from within.

Excellent range of quality content

The variety of content to suit all learnign types and so many courses to select from

Sometimes too many pieces of content - choice paralysis.

Quality content at a reasonalbe price to help or people develop skills and capabilities

What do you like best about the product?
Open Sesame has the best customer support of any vendor I've worked with.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides to working with Open Sesame. They have incredible content and are always suggesting new ways to engage with our learners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Open Sesame provides relevant content in a timely manner. They save me time by offering the content so I don't have to try to source it myself. If a learner has an access issue, Open Sesame steps right in to assist.

We couldn't be happier with our Open Sesame partnership. And they continue to improve the platform and bring in new content!

I like how easy it is to curate content, review that content, and incorporate it into our LMS.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I can say I dislike.

We've given employees many options they have not previously had to seek professional development and improve technical skills.

What do you like best about the product?

There is high competition between course creators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to continue our internal learning for our employees and capitalize more by using OpenSesame due to COVID-19.
Great selection of courses, excellent customer service.
What do you like best about the product?
The customer service is fantastic. They really try to add value, answer questions quickly, and are very responsive. The breadth of content is impressive and so far we've gotten very positive feedback on not only the variety of course offerings but the quality and engaging nature of the training, too. We've struggled in the past to get our team to engage with online learning but that has not been the case this time. I'm very glad we chose to go with Open Sesame and highly recommend them.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only quibble is that way you can only swap out a certain number of seats a year. But that's minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had another vendor that provided courses we needed to deploy quarterly for our safety program whose courses kept failing when loaded into our LMS. Open Sesame's courses have worked pretty seamlessly and reduced the number of issues we've had to troubleshoot considerably. We have a number of younger professionals who need training on a range of general topics, and their content offerings have proved really helpful. Finally, we deployed one of the unconscious bias courses recently to help raise awareness and it went over very well.

Use your account rep! They really do have great ideas and want to find ways to assist you.

The OpenSesame Team is always quick to respond to customer needs it solutions that help close the gap on learning needs. They listen to what is important to the customer, give actionable alternatives, in a friendly helpful manner.

I wish there were an option between 100 courses and all courses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have rolled out a new competency module this year and they are helping map courses to our competencies.

Map out requirements your organization has, give to the curation team, and preview the content to ensure it meets your needs.

A Lot of Content Across Many Subjects
What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of OpenSesame courses. There is a lot of content that is even in other languages. I am able to go in and find courses when someone reqests a certain topic. There are always some times when there is a struggle to find content, but I'd say for the most part it is easy and there is a good amount to choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still a lack of quality content. I usually filter through by 4-stars and up and there is a significant decrease in the number of courses available that meet this requirement. Sometimes there is a topic that just does not get any results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding D&I training has been helped by OpenSesame. Over the past couple months we have seen an increase in D&I content from OpenSesame which we have been able to pull over and use for our employees. I also realize there are so many topics out there to train our employees on. This is extermely helpful when deciding whether to create a course from scratch or not. Usually instead of having to create a course we are able to find the content from OpenSesame.

This is the best site on the market currently for curated courses for LMS systems.

What do you like best about the product?
Everyone at OpenSesame is completely customer-focused. From the curation team to the service desk to our account management, everyone has been helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. They work fast to find solutions and improvements and they allow my team to provide the best and most effective learning to my end users. They are always improving their offerings, staying on top of advances in web-based learning to provide content that is timely.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have experienced no issues during the time I have been an OpenSesame customer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use OpenSesame to offer to our employees content about topics we do not have the expertise in-house to provide. We have been able to create a much more complete offering of skills training to our learners so they can increase their competency and skill without us having to build our own content.
