Simple tool for SRE planing and bundling alerts.
What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast is simple and powerful. It was easy to set it up, and you have multiple alert sources. Also, planing the SRE on call is easy and intuitive.

In some places, the documentation could be better, but here you can quickly fall back on the support.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as SRE tool, to bundle alerts into one platform and also define who is the SRE on call.
We now get earlier alerts about errors and other problems of our application, and our customers are happier.

Test Squadcast and love it, the free plan has a lot of options.

We use it for incident management, helps ensure our team knows if any software issues occur.

What do you like best about the product?
The app rings through Dnd which is a nice feature. Also, the system sends reminders via email before each of your shifts. I also very much enjoy the ease of navigation of the web app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of a dark mode for the appilication and would very much like to see this feature included in a future release. Also, I would like to be able to view the calendars from my app.

We are a company in need of afterhours services and support and we needed a solution to allow for our existing employees to respond to service calls quickly and intelligently.
Good incident management software for a great price
What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast was very easy for us to setup and the sales representatives were very responsive. We were able to integrate the product into our existing stack very quickly and worked as expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
IOS app does not work, crashes on login. The product is not super intuitive to use, requires a fairly steep learning curve. The documentation could be more detailed which would help with setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving incident alert management to make sure we can hit the necessary uptime needed for our SLAs. We also needed an on-call rotation schedule which squad cast gave us.

I like the simplicity of the dashboard, how it shows me in one place the MTTA, MTTR, and list of recent incidents, and who is currently on call.

Haven't found anything yet to complain about.

Challenges of awareness of incident management, clarity of responsibility and responsiveness. Squadcast has helped us by keeping our incident response focused and allows us to see the metrics which helps us improve.

What do you like best about the product?
The way we can process the incidents in a streamlined manner where we were able to introduce some crucial steps which were getting missed due to no fixed process for a retrospective of an incident.

The user interface needs a decent amount of training, some of the text boxes mess up at times.

The alert system is smooth and reliable

The alert system and the escalation policies we can define for every heirachy are one of the USP features of the squadcast.

UI is not attractive. There should be a dark mode in it.

Timely alerts with full details. Communicate through all means . Email sms calls

No downsides till now. Dashboard could be more readable.

Good and easy solution for Incident Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Squadcast for about three months, and we are pretty satisfied with it so far. It is easy to use, and it has all the features we expected for a reasonable price. In addition, one of the issues we had with was the roles and permissions and soon after was improved enormously.
What do you dislike about the product?
The status pages are too basic. I understand it could be the MVP, but it's too minimal as incident entries cannot be edited. Therefore, if a mistake is made, that's it; you cannot do anything. It cannot be fixed or removed. I hope this is improved soon. Removing users is a pain. They need to be removed from many areas (schedules, squads, etc.) before they can be removed for real.
