What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast has been a useful tool for application. We are a social media application so downtime is not ok. The best thing about this is the control it gives our DeveOps team. Not sure how it compares. but our DevOps team did a lot of research when picking SquadCast.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue is the cost per user. We would prefer payments on a enteprise plan. Also the UI was a bit hard to navigate and adding people was a bit tedious. Also might be a bit technically complex for a lot of our team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Squadcast allows us to ensure reliability in our operations. Since our users are on our app 24/7 we need to ensure constant reliability which Squadcast is able to provide.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to understand the report and configuration after they are set correctly. Configurations are not complicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notifications/calls need to be improved - at this time and age, you should be able to call using data instead of relying on the unreliable cell network
Quirks/bugs around the user interface that frustrates configuration at times

What do you like best about the product?
Anyone in an on call role knows how critical it is to get clear, noticeable alerting when systems malfunction or monitors fail. Squadcast delivers that in a user friendly, attention grabbing way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't come across anything so far, seems to be working pretty well for what the to is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Squadcast ensures alerts are noticed, checked, followed up on, and your on call times are easy to get to and review.

What do you like best about the product?
Multiple inputs allow us to customize alerting for each of our alerting systems. We are able to set clear priorities for our most important events and alerts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support team is not based in the US, sometimes making meetings a little bit of a challenge. So far we have managed through it, but you asked. Overall a great service for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously we were relying on SMS alerting, which has it's own set of challenges. With the flexibility of Squadcast and the auto escalation and retries we no longer have missed calls to action.

What do you like best about the product?
His escalation policy feature and calling to incident management feature are best. best API to manage the user roster and other things. I mostly like support chatbots as well and very helpfull to get the alert timely to take decision to avoid decision.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no option to automatically escalate the alert to the next level user if the first level user acknowledged the attention and didn't resolve a long time. And the latest schedule v2 UI is not working correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Incident route diversion and helping us to manage issues before the outage and take action timely. Other ways are also to get a call from the squad cast. If you are not available online you will get call from AI.

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling on-call, Squad management, Integration with different alert sources, Service facilities, Postmortem
What do you dislike about the product?
The status page is not as good as another similar product

Managing team in incidents and making people responsible obviously
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's good to have a short journey at least with squadcast as a one of the best incident management

What do you like best about the product?
There are multiple incident notifications that you can choose from to inform you of an incident, and allows you to add rules!

As occasional users for a small team, we are on the free plan, so this is perfect for us. Happy to buy more credits for calls and texts once we have run out.

Super easy to use and cost-effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not come across anything yet, it's really simple to use. Nothing to dislike so far :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When a website is not functioning as it should (really slow/goes down) during an online event.

One of the benefits is that you can collaborate and make notes on the incident ticket for the team to see, so if you re-assign it, all the history and details are there.

What do you like best about the product?
The Squadcast service is easy to use and configure, utilizing the scheduling and teams options we have been able to set up a quality on-call rotation for our team's needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downfall to scheduling in the Squadcast tool is the ability to set a rotation. Having a section where you can set up groups (rotation 1, 2) and then set the rotation time frame (weekly, bi-weekly) would be a quality improvment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Utilizing Squadcast has offered the opportunity to free up Senior level team-members to work different shifts while still be reachable 24/7.

What do you like best about the product?
The software is easy to use and the UI is good.
The integration with slack is great also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deduplication of incident aren't easy to setup
Testing is not possible, so test incident are included in production incident statistics...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We handle incident better.
