Centralized incident management on one platform!
What do you like best about the product?
We mainly used the app to get all our alerting in one platform and managed to actually get the right people to receive the alerts. We, as a team, managed to resolve incidents quicker with the complete visibility on the incident status.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are yet to have a negative experience. We have received immediate support from their team for any kind of issues we had. And we didn't have many.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our major problem was having to constantly look into all out tools to ensure that everything is up and running.
Getting it all into a single platform so the main focus is on quicker incident resolution was a big win for us.
Plus it is an affordable solution for a company our size.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
We were actually able to improve our MTTR and MTTA with Squadcast. We were sold on the support we received throughout. They were always willing to hear us out and provide solutions that worked. Start the trial, see if this fits your alerting requirements. For us, it did.
Our Ops teams love it!
What do you like best about the product?
- We have full control over on-call issues as every user has access to Squadcast. Read-only access is free for stakeholder users.
- Pretty flexible in how each individual can choose how to be notified. I’ve setup almost all my professional and personal contact info in the notification chain.
- Incident exclusion and alert forwarding is really helpful when you don’t want to be disturbed. Have used this a ton when I go on vacation.
- Easy to use mobile app. Always works, clean UI that makes it easy on the eyes in the middle of the night.

What do you dislike about the product?
On-call schedules can be improved, to support follow-the-sun schedules. Useful for teams that have members who are split across multiple continents.
Can have more features on mobile app that are available on the web app. Right now, you can use the mobile app primarily for responding to an incident. Re-configuring the system on-the-go is not possible from mobile.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We found it super hard to have a central place where all incidents were available for everyone to see. Individual sub-teams made different decisions based on budgets, and personal preferences. We’re now incrementally transitioning to Squadcast. So far, we’ve seen that people find this much faster and easier to use than other tools. It’s quite reliable as well - never really had any issues on that front. That’s all we’re looking for now. Something good that everyone in our org can use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool which serves our purpose. It helped us improve our team's overall efficiency.
Anyone one in the market for an IT alerting tool should check this out.

Helps maintain SLAs and stay within our error budgets
What do you like best about the product?
Multiple alerting options are a boon for us. Our system needs a high degree of reliability. All critical incidents must be notified immediately to our engineers so our systems are always online. With Squadcast, we can ensure coordinated response from the incident commander, as well as other key stakeholders. Some of our SLAs require us to ack within a few minutes which was difficult with conventional tools. We’ve noticed that the time for all key stakeholders to be aware of an incident status has reduced dramatically with Squadcast.
What do you dislike about the product?
No IVR based incident triggers...that could be cool for some super critical deployments that we have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted faster acks and resolution of incidents as any significant downtime for us implies a huge loss in revenue. Squadcast helped us maintain SLAs by acknowledging and resolving incidents faster with a coordinated response, which, in turn, has helped us stay within our acceptable error budgets.
Less toil, better insights and more productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast provides analytics on incident data that provide in-depth insights of an organisations’ performance across services. We could identify repetitive alerts that drained our teams energy and automated them. We could free up our resources thereby increasing productivity and reliability of our production system. Whenever we needed any additional help - like a customized report - the Squadcast support team was available for help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Readily available public APIs would have been a good option as it will help automate a few things on our own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team not only took longer time to resolve issues on average, but also missed out a few critical alerts that mattered a lot. We required a comprehensive solution for incident management and found Squadcast to be the right fit, with enough flexibility to filter incidents by various patterns, and route them appropriately. It helped our team focus on critical issues and address them quickly, rather than spreading ourselves too thin on issues that had insignificant customer impact.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you would like to measure the metrics of your operation team and improve the reliability, then Squadcast is the way to go.
Moved from legacy tooling to modern incident management
What do you like best about the product?
Since we moved from a legacy system to Squadcast, it has transformed the way we manage incidents. I like the how blazing fast the product is, and how well designed the mobile app is for the incident response workflow. Our team also found the phone directory in the mobile app quite useful. (This is automatically generated by Squadcast)
What do you dislike about the product?
Importing configuration from existing systems is manual, although their support team did help us with this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The legacy systems we were with provided only basic information about the alert, and were hard to integrate with modern observability tools.. With Squadcast, we can get in-depth analytics on our incident response metrics. We are clearly able to see the gains made in our key metrics after the transition.
Great value, superb responsiveness to feature requests
What do you like best about the product?
Our entire team has access to Squadcast - we really liked the unlimited free stakeholders capability. We needed recurring maintenance schedules, and better alert suppression capability based on context, both of which we couldn't find in other tools. They were quite responsive to our feature requests, and added functionality to solve our needs within a couple of weeks.
What do you dislike about the product?
None yet. It's simple and straightforward to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What benefits have you realized? We badly needed recurring maintenance and alert suppression. With other tools we were facing severe alert fatigue (upto 50% of incidents needed no action). It's become easier to configure this in Squadcast.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Depends on your specific requirements. Realtime is a huge difference, you forget it is a web app after a while. The team is accommodative and responsive, we ran an extended POC to compare with PagerDuty, and then moved to Squadcast.
Incident Management Done Right
What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast integrates well with existing monitoring solutions, so it does not cause a lot of overhead while setting it up. It is accurate in reporting incidents and metrics. The integration of JIRA ticketing is a huge plus, as it automates the creation of tickets for issues to be addressed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some kind of AI-based predictive suggestions for resolution, from incidents that are similar, would go a long way. But based on our usage there isn't anything in particular we dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recovery after catastrophic incidents is a breeze with Squadcast. Automation of the Incident Recovery process is a business problem that Squadcast helps us to solve. A significant reduction in the time spent by the Operations team is a major benefit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are on the lookout for an incident management platform, then Squadcast is one to reckon with.
Good on call rotations, escalation, war room and alerting features
What do you like best about the product?
Virtual war rooms for every incident is a great way to take collaborative response with my team on the fly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application doesn't offer a dark mode option...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Squadcast helped us measure and improve MTTA, MTTR and overall team performance. Analytics is available by default and helps a ton. We've also got some help from the Squadcast team to add customizations to our weekly reports that made us more efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to configure and effective tool to use. Definitely give it a try.
Highly reliable system to aggregate monitoring of critical alarms
What do you like best about the product?
It's reliable. Support is great. Product is scalable, flexible and easily configurable. Very good integrations with tools like Prometheus, Zabbix, Cloudwatch which we use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI in the older version was quite lagging. This was unpleasent to use. However, it got resolved a few weeks ago. So, no major complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to reach our on-call staff maintaining our SaaS applications to fix mission critical bugs and Squadcast does that for us with ease
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate your use cases in the free trial, they have great support & fast turnaround on simple requests like integrations, etc.
Very effective for IT Incident management and on call
What do you like best about the product?
- they are the only ones I found with an on-premise as well as cloud version which was a requirement at our company.
- initial setup and configuration was very easy, we got started in about 15 mins
- very fast, real-time & great UX
- unlimited stakeholders for free means i can add anybody from the team who wants to page on-call or check what's happening without worrying about extra cost, which really helps.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much.
API is not publicly available but you can reach out to the team and request for it

We have a 24x7 operational on-call team of 15+ engineers, and Squadcast helps manage the entire response flow as well as the rotations and scheduling. This used to be chaotic but now its simple as the software is very easy to work with. Also, we measure our effectiveness with metrics like MTTA, MTTR.
