Good product at great price
What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast has almost all the features you would need in an alerting product. It has been very reliable for us with no missed alerts over 2 yearss of operations. Best thing is , you get all this at a very good pricing compared to its competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grouping and suppressing alerts is a bit involved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use squadcast to manage our on-call operations. We have found it to be a reliable tool with no downtime and good support.

The product consistently perform as expected without frequent breakdowns or errors and offer good value for the price

The GUI, its soo complicate vs the competition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us resolve tickets when what we classify as an incident is occurring. It involves escalating and provisioning our systems for its tracking.
Works great for our needs!

Squadcast is easier to use than other platforms I've tried. It gets the job done and I spend less time in this tool than I have in other tools I've used.

Can't really think of anything that I dislike.

What do you like best about the product?
I think Squadcast very solidly offers what it says on the box. It fulfills my needs solidly and without too many bells and whistles but gives a ton of flexibility. It's a big step up from using slack or email.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the defaults could be better and I do wish there was a cleaner way to handle specific notifications as higher priority via phone but I'm not sure that's technically feasible.

We use it for on call alerting.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see other incidents that may have impacted your services as well. Being able to create teams, schedules, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot. I haven't found a super easy way to configure it, but that may be the nature of the beast. And since it's an on call type of system, you naturally hate it regardless of product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps a playbook, on call schedule so when our team services break, our command center has a place and people to contact.

- Jira integration is very lean, not allowing multiple issue statuses
- New calendar is complex to manage multiple teams
- In general, not the best tool to manage multiple teams on call

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Squadcast is our main incident management tool, we integrated out monitoring systems to send alerts to it and from there to our on-call representatives
Was easy to transition and has been a nice change of pace from what we used previously

Easy to use for the most part, I can customize the alert notification tones

Alert details could be easier to read. More customization would be nice.

It assists in handling after hours calls and alerts

Configuration is very easy and straightforward.

It's working well for us. Nothing to complain about at this point.
