Squadcast is easy to setup and use for incident management

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use
Easy integration
Pricing is very competitive against the competition
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything to dislike about Squadcast yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small team and need a way to notify the Incident response team when issues occur. Squadcast makes it easy to notify the correct people based on severity and source.

Very Helpful tool

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy it was to setup, and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The issue I did have with Squadcast is how it does notifications. I would dismiss the alert and assign the incident to myself and it would continue to notify me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Squadcast has helped us get visibility to an issue that we were having. The AC in our DC was turning off every night; we noticed thanks to Squadcast, that someone had changed the schedule.

Consistency for On-Call

What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to bring in alerts from multiple sources and place them in a single view. Once there we have many options available to ensure that the right process is kicked off for the alert.
What do you dislike about the product?
When an alert comes in and is combined with an existing alert there is no way for the new alert to update the tags on the existing alert. We have use cases were this re-tagging would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using a product like Squadcast our on call experience was not consistent. Each of member of our oncall team addressed alerts differently. Squadcast allows us to collaborate on alerts as a team and decide how the alerts will be addressed while on-call.

Effective, efficient alerting across multiple monitoring systems

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to configure alerting from different sources and the on-call scheduling is quite simple to lay out.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me a little while to figure out how to customize certain kinds of messaging in the webhooks, and their support was not very helpful on that one thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a low cost solution to allow On-Call Scheduling and different levels of alerting (including an app with push alerts) and incident management. Squadcast hit each of those elements well.

Easier, less expensive and better for small teams

What do you like best about the product?
Our team was previous using a large solution for our startup and it was too many features, too much setup to make it work easily. With Squadcast, we were able to get setup in a day and get all the alerts and workflows we needed for incident management.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Squadcast works well for our small team now, I'm hoping that it will continue to scale with us as we grow so we don't need to go back to the large provider!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Incident management -- from alerts, severity level, and escalation workflows, to integrations with our current toolstack. All of this is made even simpler with our non-tech team members being able to submit clear tickets through Squadcast off hours.

What do you like best about the product?
Its a great tool for on call rotation and incident management. Can handle most use cases needed out of such a tool. Easy to set up and not much maintenance needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some requests have been made to the team, waiting for response. Some of the features specially around scheduling have been buggy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Incident management and on call support rotation.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use It is rock solid. When "Make it SUPER easy, and make sure it works. I don't have to be clicking a button and thinking, It works as expected, they've still kept it simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing found to dislike so far in my experience. It works as expected, features are built only requires. We pretty much use all features in our company and work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It alerts users when incidents happen, users coming and finding issues and fixing quickly that help our customers make happy and always had turned around time is so quick.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best tool to monitoring all the infra level and application alerts, and their esclation policy and proper track of MTTR,MTTA.And also we can add findings in the notes section by uploading screenshots as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the alert is resolve it triggers two duplicate alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Squadcast Triggers the infra alerts from multiple alert sources like Prometheus, New Relic and Pingdom, due to which proper action was taken before the production went down.

What do you like best about the product?
The function is very well. On-call, some application integration, advantages cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's nothing now. but login dashboard page dislikes pop-up chat messages. and change the pricing plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used pagerduty. pagerduty has many advanced features, but it's costly per account, and we don't need all feature sets.
So, we will change all accounts to Squadcast.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think that Squadcast brand is not famous in Japan. It would be best if you had branding.

One solution for incident management

What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast helps our team to manage occuring incidents proactively and resolve and track them.
The calendar system helps assign on-caller schedule beforehand to related team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Manual look up for ensuring primary and secondary on-caller are not same.
- proper support not provided, had some questions but we're not able to resolve it properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep a check on any incident that may have occurred in a production system by alerting the responsible personal and remind to resolve asap.
As lot of data may be lost if this issue are not resolved in time, and with squadcast we can keep track of that.
