Great Resource, But It Will Cost You
What do you like best about the product?
Quickly do contact searches to find hundreds of qualified companies that meet your search criteria, access key contacts, view similar companies, & check out the company's org chart.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very expensive and all of their offerings are a la carte.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) Creating qualified target lists
2) Finding contact info to reach out to the right people at those targeted companies

Great tool for business development.

The number of executives I can reach with the platform.

I do not like how contacts can be impoperly exported to my company's CRM.

I use ZoomInfo to canvas and make outreach to potential clients.

ZoomInfo is a vital component of my job, and I would highly recommend it to anyone working in sales or business development.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to cross-reference my Salesforce data and lookup emails/phone numbers. The intent section is also great for learning what a company is researching.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be time-consuming to get the results you want, but once you do, it's great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inaccurate data, finding the buying intentions of customers, etc. I've realized increased sales and contacts.

It's a great investment to increase sales!

Unnecessary contacts which is sometimes time consuming. The interface can be built more easy.

Zoom info has helped me find prospects I didn't know existed
What do you like best about the product?
The accuracy of the information on both the prospect and companies. The quick and easy Zoom Chrome Extension easily allows me to use the tool without even having to log in to the actual page. Using Zoominfo makes propecting on LinkedIn so much more effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
When building lists, it's hard to exclude competitors or companies you don't want to contact. Zoominfo used to provide mobile numbers for all prospects, but now some of those are hidden. I understand this has to do with privacy laws and not necessarily Zoominfo. There is very little that I dislike about ZoomInfo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom info easily allows me to build prospect lists and export those lists to my other tools. It easily integrates with Salesforce and Outreach and helps complete all of my prospecting tasks.
An Excellent Sales Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like having access to an organization's technology stack, as the business I work for has very specific ICP's, which includes the technology currently being utilized. I also like the fact that there are now more contacts that have mobile numbers included, especially since we are living in a new business world where more people are now working remotely. Finally, I like the fact that their LinkedIn profile is available within the contact's profile page, as it makes it easier than having to copy and paste.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have come across a few times some inaccuracies as it relates to the contact details (incorrect direct number or mobile number), or the contact is no longer employed by the company of interest. In cases where the contact has left a company, I am able to access their LinkedIn profile in order to find out where he/she is now working. So it would be great to see more contacts with up-to-date information. Also, the job roles are very generic. I see a lot of Marketing Managers in ZoomInfo, but if I go to a contact's LinkedIn profile, the title is usually different, but still within marketing, such as Digital Marketing Manager or Content Marketing Manager.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary challenge has been generating business with new business logos. We receive less generated based on a form fill or a number of times a page (or pages) have been visited, etc. However, the outbound sale is an area that is relatively new and it was my recommendation to look at ZoomInfo after starting my role with a new company. Building out a contact list with accounts that 'fit' our ICP as well as being able to effectively track organizations visiting our Website has been ideal. We have been using ZoomInfo for about three months now, but it has definitely been a contributor to our new business development strategies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend some time playing around with the platform and also take advantage of the resources available for beginners/first-time users. Also, if you have access, check out the Knowledge Center and the certifications offered via ZoomInfo University.
Good place for leads
What do you like best about the product?
All the filters that can be used to find the exact buyer you're looking to sell to. Mobile numbers are great. Integration it has with salesforce is great. The chrome extension is great so that if you see a Linkedin profile you like, you can use the extension to get their contact info. Scoops are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can still be more accurate. Decent amount of bounce rates. Also, pretty common to have their title be different on Linkedin than what it shows in Zoominfo but it's close enough. Sometimes filters can be inaccurate- for example, I was filtering for front-end developers but had a lot of retail front-end workers (customer service people) in the list.
