What do you like best about the product?
The ease of integration with our marketing automation software and customer support (having a dedicated CSM) are the best parts of the product. On multiple occasions when we've needed support, it's been very easy to get help and resolve any issues.
Also, the fact that data on individuals isn't automatically mined using data scrapers, but is instead verified by people is a huge element.

What do you dislike about the product?
The platform itself isn't very intuitive, and the limitation of paying for access to different profiles is a bit annoying. While we aren't paying for what we don't currently need, the option to change our strategy without needing to change our contract/plan would be better. Also, the data isn't always up to date. It seems that some people are 6 months out of date or more, and with the recent pandemic, some people got laid off or fired - it would be nice to have more current information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data enrichment! We don't want to 'have' to ask people 30,000 questions when they come to us, so enriching what they do provide us is critical to us. Also, lead acquisition is another element in which we are exploring.
Our database has grown exponentially and the ROI from this platform has been outstanding.
What do you like best about the product?
We love the LinkedIn Add on and the ability to pull contact information for all of our disciplines. It was extremely challenging to research and database our specific verticals, but Zoominfo has made it so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see even more data specifically around our software competitors, which are not currently in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now getting alerts when new contacts are found, which is extremely helpful in targeting the right decision makers.
High volume searches, a few hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
Easily customizable search parameters, easy exports to other platforms, and a reliable data quality (for the most part).
What do you dislike about the product?
Data quality can sometimes dip during larger searches. In an individual company's profile, it's a pretty much a gamble as to whether or not their data is fresh or years out of date.

Mass prospecting for sales campaigns.
ZoomInfo for a Contract Manufacturer
What do you like best about the product?
The quality and amount of leads generated with very little time invested. It is very easy to search a potential customer and within seconds have the exact person you are looking to speak with. When sending out emails it is a very rare occasion that an email address is incorrect and the email bounces back, when doing this research on my own I was having this problem daily. When you have the right persons contact information the success rate in your email marketing grows significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all companies have info on them and for some contacts the names are there but the emails are not which can be unfortunate when looking to send out email campaigns. When exporting leads to salesforce you want to make sure you are exporting leads that have contact information attached to them so you are not just adding a name with no way to reach out to this lead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now able to send out dozens of contacts a day to leads that we know are quality without having to do the extensive research to find email addresses and contact information on websites and digging through LinkedIn. This has allowed us to spend less time searching for leads and more time actually calling on leads and creating relationships with potential customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to link the ZoomInfo platform to salesforce so you are able to manage the amount of leads that you export in a organized way.
High quality data, integrations have room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo has very high match rates for key pieces of data (phone number, job title) and when ZoomInfo does get a match, the data they provide is high quality. I haven't seen instances of ZoomInfo data being inaccurate. Also, being able to re-enrich the same records multiple times at no additional cost is super useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Marketo integration isn't all that great. We expected to be able to enrich a high volume of Marketo leads using a webhook, but we overburdened it during our first test. To my knowledge, you cannot send multiple webhook requests at once as ZoomInfo won't queue them—you have to handle queueing on your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to improve our sales reps' ability to get in touch with key customers, while simultaneously reducing the amount of information we request from our customers to improve their experience.

Easy Access to Accurate Data
What do you like best about the product?
Good UI, easy to use, accurate person data

Missing some features that would make it easier to match contacts to accounts or filter search results more specifically

Easy access to emails and phone numbers, easy to transfer small amounts over to salesforce. Gives sales reps the ability to locate their own contacts to prospect.

not a great way to report inaccurate data. really should be a click option when I find out someone is NLT at current company, zoom can verify but then you'd be empowering your users to help update the data and keep a clean DB. Same for bad #'s, it's not often but when it happens I just wonder how long that data will stay there for others to have the same experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i'm connecting with folks i'd otherwise not reach. I've realized that organizations change email domains and this is the best tool to update DB's and have the most current data. I've seen a huge increase in mobile numbers, direct dials are great but again this is an additional channel that's working to connect and reach people. I've tried other platforms like SalesIntel..you'll truly realize how great Zoominfo is once you've used something that divides data between human verified and machine processed-just very low quality data.

Solid solution for contact/account data in the B2B Saas world
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can go to the account view inside ZoomInfo and see how many contacts they have for an account, filter them by seniority level, and directly import them into Salesforce. I also like how the LinkedIn Sales Navigator extension works so that I can find contact data with one click for an individual on LinkedIn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of contact data for the LATAM segment which my team has supported (basically nothing available for the version we were on). I also wish you could import how ever many contacts at a time to Salesforce, rather than being limited to 25 at a time and having to change pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to perform outreach at scale and get contact data at scale rather than having to guess or do a lot of one-off emails/calls. Targeting specific personas.

Up to date resource to find good contacts and industries to focus on, good intelligence on companies who are actively seeking our services
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the data is out of date but it is easy to submit a fix for that.
