The go to company for getting account and lead info.
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to find people and information.
What do you dislike about the product?
High cost for corporate-level account. We are trying to save money right now. So it might not be the right timing to use for all of our salespeople.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to do account and lead research for ABM campaigns. This information isn't listed anywhere else.
Easy to use platform, but with a lot of add-on modules
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use Zoominfo and search for new contacts in the platform. The interface is intuitive and we can almost always find what we are looking for on the screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be frustrating sometimes to learn that many of the features promoted in Zoominfo webinars are not available as part of the core package. A lot of the email promotions and articles are about the product capabilities that always cost extra money and not something we can afford at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoominfo is our go-to solution for contact information. Any time we are looking to get in front of a new prospect or find a better point of contact at an organization, my team unanimously says "check out Zoominfo". The speed that we can find an answer is hugely beneficial.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Now that Zoominfo and DiscoverOrg have merged to be one company, there really is no other vendor on their level in the market. They have the breadth of information as well as database details that organizations can benefit from.

There isn't a great way to search for one lead at a time, at least not that I've seen.

Lead generation for how to identify companies and targets in a particular demopgrahic.
Strong platform, good data, many product features
What do you like best about the product?
The data accuracy of ZoomInfo appears to be quite good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scoops functionality is not as accurate/good as it was when we used DiscoverOrg. This provides insights into potential opportunities at companies. Phone numbers are often corporate numbers. Account insights are often inaccurate or conflict with reported information on LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for data enrichment, ABM, prospecting, etc.
Does the strenuous amount of work that goes into prospecting for you, in a clear and concise way.
What do you like best about the product?
It's nice to be able to filter every possible scenario on the prospects you are looking for. From what industry to what position an individual holds within a company, ZoomInfo allows the user to find what they are looking for. In addition, the information and contacts are extremely accurate. If you're interested in contacts that are not as accurate, you are still capable of decreasing the overall quality and get much more search options as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product can be pricey for some companies, but overall I believe the ROI on the product will pay off if a company was to use the software to its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Figuring out your competitive niche can be difficult within smaller companies. Hearing that ZoomInfo sells 80% of their product to companies with less than 10 sales reps was surprising at first. The more that I thought about it, the more it made perfect sense.

If you are struggling to find the best industry/niche for your smaller company, ZoomInfo makes it a lot easier to break down the places you need to look.
Zoominfo is a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
What we like best about Zoominfo is the ability to target specific industries and roles, and to provide very specific targets for our demand and sales teams. The depth of data for companies and contacts is just the right amount, the ability to drill into different types of information is great. Our demand and sales teams are really impressed with the data we're sending over to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoominfo periodically goes down (maybe 2-3 times a week), and I have to wait for the system to recover. Often my customer success manager is or isn't aware of the outage, and tries to help me resolve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are looking to find contacts for our demand creation and sales teams in certain industries. Benefits we've realized include:
1) Ability to target the right companies in the right industries.
2) Ability to target the right contacts in the right industries.
3) Ability to see regional information (ex: sales offices in America or Europe)
4) Ability to see see employee size and revenue information.

Zoominfo is really a no-brainer if you're trying to find new sales targets or penetrate new industries you really get great information.
Comprehensive Business Database with Level & Use Options to Match Business Needs
What do you like best about the product?
With what I know about ZoomInfo, it seems like there are lots of options for any size business to benefit from the database options and capabilities that Zoom provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
ZoomInfo can get complicated and expensive quickly, if you don't know what you're doing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a marketer, it was valuable to use ZoomInfo to created targeted lists of potentially relevant recipients for specific and targeted campaigns quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Study up. It's easy to get lost in all the capabilities and levels of ZoomInfo (which is a good thing, but can cost you money if you don't know what you're doing).
It allows me to get more calls in during the day and less bounced back emails
What do you like best about the product?
Typically I have to get transferred several times to reach the person I had intended to call. Having direct numbers which ZoomInfo provides, I can get to my targeted person in a fraction of the time. Due to the provided email address, I get less bounced back emails

Community Plan: I may not require direct number and email at the time, however opening up the contact will count against my 10 contacts per month

Actually reaching my targeted contact in the fraction of the time. Due to the supplied email address, I get less bounced back emails

I like the quality of the data and the ability to drill down in searches

Columns are not wide enough and there doesn't seem to be a quick way to change this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding better and more leads. So far we've had better luck with our Zoominfo contacts.

Ultimately, Zoominfo takes a stand regarding the quality of their data. Other providers can't say the same.
Must Have Tool for Data Cleanliness and Contact Information
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is great to get the most up-to-date contact information when prospecting. The ability to provide the direct dial information to Sales makes the tool worth it. The integration to Salesforce is great for an Inside Sales team to quickly update the contact or lead information with a click of a button. No copy/paste or typing in the wrong information.
The user interface is easily to use and the search filters available are great. The 'Technology Products' filter is comprehensive and a great addition to narrow down your search or go after competitors.
From an admin standpoint, having the ability to clean and complete an entire database that hasn't been consistently maintained makes the process a lot easier. The 'Match Status' allows you to prioritize which accounts/contacts need the most attention and which ones just need a quick update.

When looking at a company the 'Locations & Hierarchy' section could be a little better. The locations are nested under country and then state, but you can only view one state at a time. It is hard to get the big picture of the account structure when you can't expand to see all the locations in one view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to start our database clean-up project and will be able to enrich our data in the future. Having accurate information that our users can trust is a huge win. We are planning on using the new automation features to be able to push lists to sales instead of them having to manually search for their leads.

Have ZoomInfo evaluate your data so you can see how valuable the added information is!
