The most accurate tool I have found for email addresses
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo has a great database of professionals and 9 times out of 10 I find that when an email is listed, it is accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Phone numbers are less accurate than email. Sometimes a direct line listed will be a cell # or the main business number, so it is not always accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for prospecting outside of LinkedIn, I generally find more prospects through Zoom than LI and Zoom has contact info which LinkedIn doesn't have unless the person lists it themselves.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Nothing is perfect but this is the best database I have used for getting email addresses and phone numbers.

What do you like best about the product?
Our Sales team uses this tool to find the best business contacts of the professionals to get in touch with and this tool serves with accurate data in terms of email and contacts which is really helpful for the team

The geography is limited to USA only.

What do you like best about the product?
There's an impressive amount of connections and businesses. As is the engineering platform used by businesses, the direct dial accuracy and availability are impressive. We have learned a great deal about Discoverorg current prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The costs for the quality of the contacts are quite steep, but not unrealistic. Sometimes contacts are moved, but stay in the database. Some of the options for segmenting / filtering are clunky, as can easily restrict searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was incredibly useful to show our prospective client the different technology platforms. It was also a great direct dial source. Our sales team relies on Discoverorg to regularly add eligible guidelines / occasions to our list.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's the most important source of lead I saw on the market and I saw a party. When you see how many ways to scan through information, you can understand the costs.
DiscoverOrg - Depends on Database You Have Access To
What do you like best about the product?
My team and I use DiscoverOrg to access contact information for prospects within the data science field. We heavily use the filtering option which is good because we mostly get contacts that we are looking for, however, at times the emails or phone numbers are not correct. The home page once you log in is nice because you could use the scoops bar to get information to make a quick call to a prospect. The filtering option with your search is helpful if you are prospecting for a specific industry field and C-level execs.
What do you dislike about the product?
My team and I have access to a specific database which limits our prospects. If you are company that is still researching your best audience type, this might be tricky because you buy a specific access type like the TEDD database and then you get stuck with only those contacts. If it was a point based prospecting tool, that might be better because you can access more contacts potentially. Here it works with the type of access scope you have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this as a prospecting tool where we look up prospects that fit our audience type and then download the list into our CRM for emailing campaigns.

Be sure to research your best audience type and make sure the database that you purchase fits within that.

The list match function is a phenomenal tool when following up on vague trade show attendee lists

I dislike the fact I only have access to one of their data sets - marketing.

Everything is streamlined and has awesome reporting capabilities. Support team is great

sometimes the SF plug in can fail and the contacts can sometimes not be readily available.

trying to solve org charts and correct titles. We have seen an uptick in better data and SQLs

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is great to find out who is doing what in a given company. I would agree that ZoomInfo is likely the most up-to-date compared to other similar platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how I need to have a verification code sent to my mobile every time I sign in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to contact the people I plan to reach with from companies that have a right title for our services. I wouldn't have contacts without it to reach. Your code is extremely simple to use and our work has been made much easier by the ability to download contacts directly through salesforce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You must get ZoomInfo if you want your sales team to be fully motivated and effective. But almost nothing I've met in competition with ZoomInfo. It is so easy to use and gets the results that you want to get in touch, engage in a discussion, and finish the deal.

The sheer volume of contacts and companies is impressive. The direct dial accuracy and breadth of availability is impressive, as is the technology stack the companies use. We have learned a tremendous amount about our existing prospects having used Discover.org.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is quite steep although not unrealistic for the quality of the contacts. Occasionally there are contacts who've moved on but remain in the database. Some of the segmenting/filtering options are clunky, as is the ability to readily narrow down searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been extremely helpful in showing the different technology platforms that our prospective customers already utilize. It's also been a terrific source for direct dials. Our sales team routinely relies on Discover.org to populate our database with qualified leads/opportunities.

It is the best source of leads I've seen in the market, and I've seen a bunch. You will be able to justify the cost when you see the number of ways you'll be able to search through the records.
Great for targeted prospecting and streamlining your workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Zoominfo integrates with all of the tools I use as a sales professional with widgets and plugins so I don't have to open 4 different tabs to do my job. As a result, it eliminates a ton of manual work. You can set up targeted prospecting lists as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had to take several training courses to become an efficient end-user. there are a lot of helpful features that most people don't know about unless they ask or attend training webinars. It is very expensive to bulk upload contacts in SFDC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
building targeted prospecting lists is helping me to tailer messaging to prospects in my territory. it has helped me save time by eliminating manual work, cut down on research time, and fill in missing information.

take the time to get efficiently trained by your rep to learn all the tips and tricks... don't try to figure it out on your own because it can do a lot more than you think!
