Easiest way to connect with the right people
What do you like best about the product?
The key to discover.org is the ability to see organizational structure. By understanding who reports to who you are able to better understand the needs. The user interface is clean and easy to navigate. It integrated with all of our existing sales tools including Salesforce and Salesloft.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is the occasional contact that no longer is with the company. It took quite a while to figure out how to fully use the platform, although the new UI has helped a lot in that respect. I also find that occasionally I am logged out during the day and need to log back in, which can slow down my processes. Additionally, and not unique to Discover.org, I have found that many of the account insights are vague and misleading. Sometimes it is better to omit the information that have some that is inaccurate. Small companies and colleges can be hard to find or non-existant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved the problem associated how our clients and customers are organized allowing for a better understanding of how to assist different departments.It has made my job easier by allowing me to find the correct contacts, insights and information needed to effectively find where I can help solve problems. The integrations increases my efficiency in terms of workflow and outreach.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
there us a lot of functionality. it is easy to just scratch the surface, but spend time getting to know the platform to get the most out of it.

What do you like best about the product?
The user experience is well organized and easy to use. The knowledge of the account base is good
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very intuitive. It might be helpful to have more information about the company, previous name changes, local decision making vs HQ, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding the hierarchy of org chart is very helpful

The solution is very intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge I have at this time is using all of the available functionality as I'm a relatively new user, I find a new capability almost weekly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am more productive, instead of spending 20 minutes chasing down an email address or phone number or guessing an email address only to get a bounce back, I have one place to go for all of my prospecting needs. I'm able to get higher alignment with my current customers and engage with my prospects with ease.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The level of access to information is unlike any other solution I've ever used. I've worked at some of the top SaaS and Telecom companies on the planet and would have loved to have had access to DiscoverOrg while I was there.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the org charts. As a rep working on Enterprise accounts 10,000+ it's critical that I am speaking with the right person at the correct time.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd say info is not always accurate. Much better than Zoom info but there have certainly been cases where I get a wrong number or an invalid email. To be fair, with such a cumbersome database this is bound to happen so I can't complain much.

Easily getting tech stack insight and getting to the decision maker faster

The best thing about DiscoverOrg is the convenience of being able to see company contacts, industry and size.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the information is not all the way up to date. For example, the employee size usually is different then what is on the page.

DiscoverOrg is great at solving problems fast and in an organized way.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to search for accounts in a specific territory that I wouldn't have thought it existed. Lots of contacts, ability to connect with a prospect on LinkedIn right away. Also, for account research.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be cumbersome at times. There's no preset template when you are doing research. For instance, when you select an account, the contact always auto-populate vs. have IT Contacts or Legal contacts pre-selected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting. Decision Makers. Quick easy integration with SFDC for putting in leads. As mentioned before, ability to connect with prospects on LinkedIn with the click of a button.

Try before you buy! May not be the tool for you, but I recommended it to my previous organization and they ended up purchasing.
Great Platform
What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg is super easy to navigate and helps me prepare much, much better for my customer and prospect conversations. There is a ton of relevant information on the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the inability to find some smaller commercial account information. Sometimes it seems limited to larger Commercial/Enterprise accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm saving myself a ton of time by using the 'Technologies' dashboard and finding relevant information quickly.
Very Powerful Toolset
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to gather detailed prospect information is critical. I am able to focus on prospects that are using a specific software tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being it is research based, it does not have a number of accounts that I would like to be able to get information about. This leave me still needing another tool. We are considering adding the ZoomInfo data into the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We not have very clean and updated sales and marketing contacts that we have never had before. The ability to push the data directly into Salesforce or Pardot is key and saves my teams a massive amount of time in data entry and list uploads.

Sometimes there may be discrepancies in information but DiscoverOrg reps are eager to research and make any changes requested.

Easily identifies organizational structure so you know where in a prospect company you can begin outreach then branch out.
