DiscoverOrg Provides a Wealth of Information
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy solution for finding most key contacts for prospecting - but I also love the Scoop section, which lists internal initiatives so I can tailor my emails/calls to include such.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the companies are "locked" so you can't access the data. i am also a little concerned about accuracy, but for the most part it seems to be pretty spot on, and DiscoverOrg verifies the data periodically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can't imagine not having this resource. I am a Sales Director and my team and I are power users, living in DiscoverOrg a large part of the day. We have seen success reaching out to all the contacts we've imported, and are gaining traction quickly, which is remarkable. To do prospecting via gathering data by linkedin or other similiar sites would take forever and be mind-numbing. This has made us super productive and definitely will aide in our overall success.

DiscoverOrg Mixed Bag - mostly good!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the filtering abilities of Discover - specifically being able to identify companies in accordance to revenue, industry, company size, and company HQ region (helps when in region specific sales). DiscoverOrg had a great training course that taught me more than just using the platform - it gave me a ton of insight into being a successful sales rep, valuable information!
What do you dislike about the product?
The main and biggest reason I've disliked my experience with DiscoverOrg is the accuracy of data - there have been numerous times that I have contacted a prospect and they currently do not work at the company DiscoverOrg says. On top of that - there have been multiple times that I have called a prospect from an invalid phone number or a number that is no longer in service at that company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business problems that I am solving with DiscoverOrg is identify the best prospects and being able to get in touch with them. First and foremost - being able to find companies with high revenue is very helpful for finding prospects that have budget for what I am selling. In many cases I find the right customers through other means - such as LinkedIn. From there, I am able to look them up on DiscoverOrg - contact them, or lookup the company HQ phone number through DiscoverOrg and get in touch!

Double-check that your prospects are still at the company DiscoverOrg says - doesn't happen too often, still does though.

Ease of use, the amount of contacts in the list and the news updates for each company are all great.

Outdated information, sometimes the accounts listed are too old with information

What do you like best about the product?
Accurate direct dials, company hierarchy, and scoops. Having the correct info at the right time is pivotal and discoverorg makes it happen. Being able to sync all this info with my CRM saves tons of time and allows me to sell instead of doing administrative tasks like updating SFDC, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's difficult to find a list of employees within a given company. Hard to know if I'm just missing the person or they're not there. It's also a bit cumbersome dealing with the "credit" system ZoomInfo applies to the downloading of contacts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're overcoming the lack of pipeline problem. ZoomInfo makes it much easier to have more at bats with potential customers and identify where those opportunities lie within a company.

Available information available from Scopes about potential opportunities related to technology needs. Solid list of contacts with direct dials in many cases and email addresses. Updates about Executive changes.

In complete contact information, Scopes not correctly sourced to actual responsible parties. Occasional out of date contact information.

Identifying potential contacts to engage in discussions regarding upcoming initiatives.

Easy to use, nightly auto sync/update/append to your entire database (even records not directly sourced by DiscoverOrg), ability to drop in Account names and generate a list of email domains (great for ABM strategy), append to incomplete lists generated from tradeshows/events and GREAT customer success/support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Today nothing. The tool answers all of your needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feeding our inside sales team so they can do 1-1 email/phone call outreach, appending additional information to records that we already own (for example IT budget, # of employees, etc.) which in turns helps us accelerate how we profile our prospects.

The data is always reviewed and up to date. Very good for my target accounts in North EMEA.

The UI is pretty hard to navigate - some bugs during advanced searches.

What do you like best about the product?
DicoverOrg has hands down the most accurate direct phone numbers for prospects. Additionally, the ability to run lists and sort on specific criteria makes prospecting way easier. Also, it's super easy to type in anything in the search bar and pull many relevant items (even with spelling errors!)
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could customize my dashboard for my territory/accounts only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster list pulling & prospecting. More accurate direct phone numbers. Access to companies/industries that I may not have found on my own.

The sheer number of contacts, combined with scoops and quality of data

A little slow search functionality why too much stuff cut off into expensive verticals you have to purchase
