  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is fairly easy to use and navigate. It provides a lot of insights into a company including contacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the contacts won't be correct or won't be working there
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sourcing and procurement mainly. There have been many benefits to this service. yes it can be improved but currently IMO this is one of the top 3 services out there for sourcing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a solid tool to use for sourcing

What do you like best about the product?
The accuracy of the data and the ease with which I can create teaches and save them. The drill-down abilities and the filters are also very insightful and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the fact that it is limited in the number of integrations at this time...I realize it will be better in the future but I need it now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to update our prospect files with more-current info and make better use of our sales processes. We can also better focus our efforts geographically within a given market.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Now that they are part of DiscoverOrg, the product will continue to improve and add features such as the org chart, etc... This will add even more value to the mix!

Has Helped my Cold Call Numbers Tremendously

  • February 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've seen a return on utilizing ZoomInfo after only 2 months of using it. It's a great tool to understand the structure of different organizations. Small and large, I get 85% of the correct information I need. There are a number of tools to export contacts, be organized, and gain company insight. I LOVE the LinkedIn concept/feature.. I'm not sure if it's been rolled out yet or not but I'd really like to use it if so.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, some contact's info can be incorrect or not up to date. Hard to export data the way I'd like/would be most efficient for me. Because you have to pay for the additional features, I don't use them and I think it makes me use the platform less. If I had access to all features then that would work better for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If there are direct lines, this allows me to call those who I was previously unable to get a hold of. I'm working with new clients and need all information from phone to email format
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a go! It's great even to just supplement what you are currently using/doing. The features they plan to roll out will only make the platform more desirable

Great Tool, find your own leads!

  • February 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to search for one specific company or person along with the opportunity to pull full lists for email marketing or call lists. Even if you can’t find the person your found on LinkedIn you can at least use the data from other contacts to infer an email address.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you leave the page open and naviagate away and then come back and go to search it will give a red line through the search bar and you have to refresh the page. Also some contacts have "assumed contact info" which isn't always accurate. The general search bar occasionally won’t give you the results you know are available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building marketing lists, it gives a lot more insight into company information such as financials. It lets us specify targets by annual revenue as well as certain technology products used
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool and easy to use

Fantastic data source, needs better integration with SFDC

  • February 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My users report that the data is highly accurate (more accurate than Hoovers, even though the number of contacts is lower). Also, customer support is very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The SFDC integration. Depending on whether you use the native application or the browser, the behavior is different. Depending on whether you use bulk upload or individual, the behavior is different. I've had lots of issues with mapping, specifically around Country/State. Also, I would argue about some of their "industry" classifications- these need to be more robust. I've found Hoovers to be more accurate in this regard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to view a company's org chart has been invaluable to us and has really helped us to map an account.

What do you like best about the product?
List match is the more important tool i use with discover. I regularly utilize it to build company contact lists that i then pull into my CRM and dial out afterwards. Great tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally the information is incorrect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the information to set new business meetings. It's nice to have all the information in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
become familiar with the different capabilities.

Solid experience, a few weaknesses

  • February 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The comprehensiveness of large companies is quite decent. When it comes to smaller or more obscure accounts, there is far less data. My research has shown me that DiscoverOrg is one of the best in the industry, so the reality seems to be that this is about as good as they can get for the time being. It seems that they continue to acquire other companies, so hopefully their data gets strengthened over time. Again, my research has shown that it seems to be best in industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of accounts, I'd really prefer more security contacts, as that is the main industry I sell to. They need to build out their accounts and contacts more. Additionally, it is often difficult to sync with Salesforce. Many times it works correctly. Some of their features like "opp finder" or whatever they call it don't seem to be overly useful, and it's a bit unclear as to how to use. Overall I think they are trying to have good additional features and tools beyond simply providing phone and emails, however I haven't found much value from those to this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding contacts. It's great because I'm able to import phone numbers and emails directly into Salesforce, which can be a very slick workflow. Really the key benefit here vs Linked In sales navigator is that it provides the phone numbers. It's quite easy to guess emails without this tool, although the phone numbers are really the key here.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it! A solid tool as long as it fits into your budget.

Powerful tool - accurate data

  • February 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zoominfo has direct lines at least 60-70% of the time, and even when there isn't info on an individual, I can typically use the email format from their peers and the company phone number to find sufficient information. It is very rare that I absolutely cannot get in contact with someone after looking them up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it takes credits/extra money to enrich lists of prospects even when you have a license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clean and easy data vs. scraping for shoddy phone numbers and emails that will bounce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Buy HG Data

Greatest lead development tool

  • February 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
easy to use, info provided is great. Almost necessary for sales teams
What do you dislike about the product?
Some people that show up are no longer with the company, but zoominfo provides the date they were last able to pull the info, giving you a good idea of how relevant the contact is
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
lead development. Greater penetration on target accounts
