Mostly great!

What do you like best about the product?
When prospecting, DiscoverOrg allows for a quick, organized glance at each company's org chart, making finding the correct person much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
About 25% of the time, the information is incorrect. There's also a color coding system in place for org charts, and a lot of the time, many contacts who should be in the org chart are under it in grey, making the search a little more difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to prospect faster and more effectively. We've also been able to find new paths to the best contacts like we haven't been able to in the past!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try! It's a great way to get a ton of new prospects in your funnel!

What do you like best about the product?
I think that you can get various types of information on a company and refine search results to see employees and companies with very specific criteria.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like that you cant select a number of employees or companies and add them to a separate list without exporting to excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Research on other companies. Prospecting.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used DiscoverOrg for over 3 years at two different organizations. They continue to invest in their research, are super responsive, and helps me connect with the right people on a daily basis--really saving a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, I'll come across outdated information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Direct dials and email addresses for potential prospects and insightful information on the business itself like the technology used.

What do you like best about the product?
contact information and org charts are my favorite aspects.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes the org charts are outdated and people are no longer at the organization. causes me to have to double check a lot in LinkedIn before contacting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
allows me to reach the decision maker in an organization and be more efficient versus blindly contacting lower-level people.

Very robust product, not always the easiest to use

What do you like best about the product?
The data is clearly very extensive and I really appreciate the fact that everything is researched by humans as opposed to using various algorithms that may glitch or collect incorrect information. It's great to be able to do a broad search of companies and/or employees and be able to upload the contacts to Salesforce right away, which saves our team a ton of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Salesforce integration can sometimes be a bit clunky, and sometimes records will fail their upload for an unknown reason. Some of the data has been incorrect, although not very often. The biggest negative is that, because all records are researched by actual people, a lot of smaller companies are missing from the database. Of course the team needs to be most efficient with their time, but it can be frustrating to be paying for such an expensive tool and not be able to see a large number of companies that we are supposed to be prospecting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have had a lot of success sourcing both emails and phone numbers via DiscoverOrg for outbound prospecting. The Chrome extension is also a very helpful tool, because it can help us find emails and phone numbers on LinkedIn pages that we wouldn't be able to find otherwise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While it is an expensive tool, it does seem to be worth it considering how much data we have available to us and we also have access to Scoops, which are insights about current projects/plans at target companies.

Making Prospecting a Dream

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to view all the accounts within my territory quickly and easily. We have certain industries that we succeed most with, so I'm easily able to center my focus on those companies by clicking in to a specific industry within my territory.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the platform was more up to date and had more direct numbers. Often times it takes over a year for an account to have the right information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the challenge of having to devote a whole day to prospecting. The benefits we have seen is increased organization and a far larger span across the industries we want to target because of it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend! Enabling your sales associates to quickly and efficiently prospect is huge. I also highly value the ability to receive scoops on what is going on within my territory. I've seen success by reaching out to the companies that DiscoverOrg tells me are exploring, and with over 600+ companies it is an amazing tool to be able to understand who is best to first hone my focus to.

What do you like best about the product?
I like all of the information that they provide in regards to a company profile and what projects they may have coming up

I think the personal email addresses is a little bit invasive, but that's just a personal opinion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for prospecting into Enterprise organizations. It is great to understand the internal hierarchy as well as who to target for specific projects that could be active at the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Now that they've acquired ZoomInfo they are definitively the go to product for sales intelligence. What they were lacking before, they've made up for in acquiring zoominfo

Stay Focused on Selling

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to segment your market quickly and identify targets that fit your ideal client is gold. Reliable firmographic data coupled with insights provided by the Intent data engine means you can know which clients are looking for you before they even know you exist.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be less than intuitive. It takes a few tries loading files and calling support to understand how the system is interpreting your data. Limitations on the scope of data you purchased can get frustrating, unless you buy the entire suite, which is very expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily this solves the problem of time spent prospecting vs time focused on opportunities. This has made a huge difference in reclaiming valuable Account Rep time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The data is full and accurate for enterprise level companies (>5000 employees), but becomes less so the further down market you go. Make sure to send DO a dozen companies that represent your current client base before you purchase to test how accurate the software works for your particular usage. Pay attention to what datasets return the best information.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Super easy to research and provides great biographies of the executives. I also like receiving daily updates first thing in the morning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs more European companies.But growing.. WIsh you could only filter the top C-level executives on searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding two or three levels down from the C-suite. The reporting structures are fantastic. I also like that it shows the last date the information was update.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is great! Definitely helps save time on prospecting executives.

Solid Tool to Help Your Prospect Efforts

What do you like best about the product?
The accuracy of the data. I've used numerous tools to help with research when it comes to prospecting and cold-calling and I've found DiscoverOrg to be the most effective. No tool is perfect and depending on the segment/market DiscoverOrg's accuracy increases.
What do you dislike about the product?
This tool isn't as friendly towards smaller accounts. You will find some of your shops less than 25 users but the data doesn't seem to be as accurate. It can sometimes be difficult to figure out which contact is the best for bigger corporations, but you can't ever say there aren't enough people to call!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to create more pipeline and this tool has helped me with my confidence when making outbound efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try! No tool is going to be perfect, trial and error will be your best friend and I believe you should try this one.
