DiscoverOrg is a great tool

What do you like best about the product?
The tools is ideal for finding specific contact information such as number and emails and the more senior people have detailed descriptions. It is also very good for sorting data and connecting CRM
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a very expensive product that needs a proven ROI to justify
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gaining contacts, quickly getting traction in accounts because of direct contacts

What do you like best about the product?
The integration with sales force and being able to easily add contacts!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much information on small or mid sized companies!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting. Without it I don’t know how we would be successful

What do you like best about the product?
I love the direct phone numbers that are available.
What do you dislike about the product?
How expensive the next package plan is. I wish we had more direct dials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest business problem we solve is knowing who is in the C-suite to contact. We love the org charts they help us understand their business.

Great Contact Info From Zoom

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is the best source on the market for names, email addresses, direct phone lines and job titles. Working in B2B sales, I need to identify my customers and find a way to reach them. Zoom is quite simply my most trusted source for the information I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have more biographical information like a well know competitor provides. I would like to have more information on where a contact has been in his or her career before arriving at this place in time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is critical that I find job titles and contact information (email and direct line) for professionals in the market for our services.

Terrific, cost-effective tool for prospecting and marketing campaigns

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to take a massive selection of data and slowly filter it further and further down to a hyper-targeted list that is perfect for marketing email campaigns or call-down campaigns. It's also great for larger targets to follow important news items using their news feed tool.

The amount of contacts within the database is much more extensive than DiscoverOrg and seems to be just as accurate from the amount of testing we have done against the lists we pull.
What do you dislike about the product?
The technology information, at least for the hospitality industry, is a bit lacking. This isn't a feature we bought the product for, though. It was just a small added bonus. Still helpful when it's there, but very few companies have the tech information we're looking for.

Lack of OppAlerts like DiscoverOrg, but now that DiscoverOrg has bought them maybe these will show up in the software in the future...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest three benefits of ZoomInfo for our company are:
-A way to append/correct contact info for contacts already in our CRM
-Getting prospective client's contact information when we otherwise would not have been able to obtain it
-Hyper-targeting email marketing campaigns
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When it comes to the lodging/hospitality industry, I would not depend on ZoomInfo as much for information about the current technologies a company has. Some of the info is present, and when it is, it is correct. That being said, there is not a lot of companies with complete tech information. DiscoverOrg is much better at this particular thing.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature, other than direct dials how detailed each search can get, right down to employee size.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to compare and contract the companies in a given vertical within the same screen side by side in an additional window, while keep my primary search open.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: time to generate clean, validated prospect data. The benefits to date have been meetings, returned emails and hopefully new business soon.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk to Tom Hogan. He is the kind of adviser you want on your side ( He does not know I'm filling this out by the way) . Take the 30 to 45 min to set up a demo and ask to see clients you already have or prospects you are looking for, while he will not be ready with answers, the system will do what it does and pull some solid intel.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use interface and and accurate email and dial information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool can become very expensive as the volume begins to increase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accurate contact information allows to much easier access for our SDR team to find the right people to target.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the user experience and how easy it is to target by company or contact. There's more sub categories than I have ever seen inside the platform. This makes targeting and segmenting quick and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you have to manually select to include leads with all the contact data you want each time (email, phone, direct dial). I made the mistake of purchasing leads that didn't have all the data I needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to purchase all the data we need in one shot. No more using virtual assistants to clean up our data. Everything we need the first time around.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get a demo. It has the best value of any data provider.

Uncovering Legal Contacts

What do you like best about the product?
The system is extremely easy to use. From searching to running reports the entire process is user-friendly. The searching abilities are fantastic. You can search on many different levels, you can search by filters, and you also have the ability to search by simply providing a list. It's an essential tool for any marketing team. Also a hidden notification called "scoops" has been instrumental in helping us identify accounts to reach out to that have needs for our product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative I have experienced is when DiscoverOrg is unable to locate a prospect and their information. Aside from that, there isn't anything that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DiscovOrg works perfectly for our team when we are targeting companies and unable to find the legal contacts. Another bonus for marketing is the correct email addresses and all the additional information outside of name, title, and email that are provided. The sales team also uses the tool to find contacts when ours are outdated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend this tool for any marketing team. It helps keep your database clean and update, it's a great tool for ABM, and it works well for verifying contacts. I also recommend this tool for sales teams, while they might use it differently they would still see the benefit and ROI within a month of use.

What do you like best about the product?
The google plug in. The plug in makes it super easy to use linkedin to browse for potential contacts and find their contact information (email, phone number) right there. This makes prospecting 10x easier.

The actual website tools are great too to build out sales list and export them easily to your CRM or an excel doc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data is not 100% accurate. It is close enough (about 90%) to not be a huge problem. Emails are usually good but some HQ numbers are not accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales prospecting and attaining new clients. Without zoom, it would be very hard to break into new companies and hit my sales numbers.
