I like the detailed information and the ability to upload information into SF.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little hard to set scoops like it was in Rain King. needs to be easier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to get multiple levels of decision makers across an organization is extremely helpful plus knowing the information is up to date.

What do you like best about the product?
Contact information is very good...if we have any questions or issues about the information, the customer services team resolves them quickly
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have the scoop information be more timely, as when we see something about an initiative, sometimes the project is already done
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for an good source of contact information and organization chart

Maybe the best tool of its kind

What do you like best about the product?
Unlike some of their competitors, it is pretty rare for me to get incorrect contact info from DiscoverOrg. Very few of my emails bounce!

It's really easy to use, and if you like to dial they have direct dials for many contacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often cross-reference with Sales Navigator and notice there are contacts at many companies not in DiscoverOrg. Sometimes DiscoverOrg will have contacts that don't have emails or phone numbers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to reach out to people we otherwise wouldn't be able to contact via email/phone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's expensive but worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to download V-cards of important contacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Operations contacts seem limited. Also, many companies we do business with don't have a listing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting to some contacts to at least start chasing some of the stakeholders involved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
there aren't many options that will provide organizational structure with contact information

DiscoverOrg Review

What do you like best about the product?
Discoverorg.com is an excellent prospecting tool which helps me uncover acqusition prospects and valid contacts within the companies
What do you dislike about the product?
DiscoverOrg.com's database focuses on companies with +300 employees; this means that a lot of SMB companies are not returned on the list. Also, if you search for a specific company and DiscoverOrg has determined that they are affiliated with or owned by another parent company, instead of returning the company which you were searching for and calling out the link association, only the parent company is returned, but once you know these two challenges, they become less of a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DiscoverOrg helps me to locate prospective accounts and contacts faster than many other contact sourcing platforms. Thanks in part to DiscoverOrg's ability to verify contacts accuracy within 90-days, the contacts are extremely accurate, which helps me to significantly reduce sales cycles.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Purchase as many verticals as possible. Depending on company structures, contacts can report within different verticals.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly search and find the contact information and technology stacks for just about anyone within the IT industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
How slow the updates come. Sometimes an employee has left a position several months back before it gets updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales activities. Quicker access and responses to key decision makers!

Great sales and marketing tool, if you can afford it

What do you like best about the product?
-The intelligence you get on companies and people is second to none. I don't think I've had any issues with data accuracy so far.
-Tools like AccountView and DealPredict give you even more insights on your best accounts, and is even useful for customer account management.
What do you dislike about the product?
-It's expensive, and they don't make it cheap to add new users or new datasets.
-Not every company or employee is in their database, so you have to submit research requests to get that information (which take a long time).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using DiscoverOrg to find contact information for our top accounts, and get valuable information we use for prospecting. It also helps our customer account managers to look for opportunities to upsell or further penetrate accounts.

Daily alerts on account scoops, triggers, and updates are key to my messaging.

What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg keeps me up to date by sending updates, scoops, triggers, and personnel moves within my territory/named accounts. This information helps me formulate message and the prospecting strategy with good data and buying signals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not every tool is perfect but more contact information would be nice within my targeted prospects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DiscoverOrg helps us identify accounts where our solution can help. With this information we can prioritize and customize messaging for that buying center.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Most of what we learned was self-taught. For early and quick adoption make sure everyone knows the depth of DiscoverOrg.

Best prospecting tool out there

What do you like best about the product?
Love how it's comprehensive in the data provided. And if there is something that isn't accurate, you can tell them and they will fix it.
What do you dislike about the product?
They lock data behind different pay structure. For instance, if you're looking to target specific departments then you only get those people, not the whole company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use it to prospect outbound targets
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Fully understand your target prospects before signing up.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to see the titles, names and responsibilities of the prospects I am researching. The org chart certainly helps with seeing where they fit in the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the purchase of RainKing there is a lot of locked fields now. There are a lot of profiles that say "actively researching their career"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for prospecting and for seeing what technologies a company has
