Zoominfo Intent is hugely helpful for all BDRs

Zoom Intent data and recommended contacts that you can then export and import into Salesforce

What do you like best about the product?
The most recent iteration of Zoom is, for me, much easier to work with. I am in general the type who like to learn on their own and this new platform made that fairly easy. I have used business directories going back years but nothing compares to the depth of information, (as much as is practicable) that Zoom offers. The ability to ask Zoom to give you customized lists using whatever criteria you require is amazing. What you get is detailed and exportable into a .csv format which is easily referenced and modified as required.
I used the original platform for about 3 years and I found myself wishing that I had access to contacts mobile numbers and this new platform makes that available.
I don't necessarily use a mobile at my first attempt at contact but having it there if all else fails is a real bonus.
The links to social media are really handy. I use the LI link all of the time as I like to use it to find out more about who I am trying to connect with via Zoom.

I seriously recommend that anyone who wants to have access to virtually every business in North America at the very least do a trial. I don't really know that there are any, nothing of any greta import anyhow. I guess that maybe the information isn't 100% accurate (not that it would be possible) can be frustrating when you reach out to an individual only to find that they are no longer with the company or have changed roles etc. As I said, it would be near impossible to get it right all of the time but you asked what I dislike and, fair or not, that's pretty much it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to be able to directly connect with people via their mobile numbers. While it isn't available in all cases, it is in most and that direct link is very beneficial too me.

I really like how easy and simple it is to use. It's very user-friendly and you don't have to go through to rigorous training to figure out the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better way to share information and collaborate with other organization members. I'd like to see who other people in my company exported or tagged.

Zoominfo helps me target companies further than just getting contact information. I like being able to see the list of technologies companies use. It helps me know what we can sell or support.

I'm mining for new prospect accounts and contacts that meet my specific criteria

Stick with it and keep experimenting to learn how to maximize it's value. Combined with Salesforce it is a awesome tool.

Constantly updating contact information and contact change notifications.

Smaller companies do not have updated contact information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Locating appropriate prospects with with accurate email addresses and phone numbers. Have been able to expand my outreach beyond contacts collected solely through my company's resources.

I was having trouble finding the right person, but once i realized what I was actually looking for, it helped alot
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you get a proper training first, once trained this can be a powerful tool for your prospecting. Also learn the different filters because it can save you a ton of time.

What do you like best about the product?
The best about Zoominfo is the mobile phone numbers and supplemental emails. Especially during a pandemic, mobile numbers were key to getting in touch with prospects. The links to the social media accounts is a great help in conducting in-depth research on prospects. ZoomInfo is also extremely helpful when it comes to updating our existing contacts. I often will look at our Salesforce records and find the information is outdated. ZoomInfo has helped me to update hundreds of contact records so we can more accurately reach out to our prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something that could be improved with Zoominfo is the LinkedIn links and updating titles. The educational content could also be improved to help users think about ways to implement the data better other than the basic search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoominfo is helping us get in touch with prospects who have been working from home. The top benefit realized has been reducing the number of steps to getting in touch with a prospect. I often will check ZoomInfo before even checking my Salesforce database because the information I get from ZoomInfo is almost always more accurate than what I can find in SalesForce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get the pro account so you can have access to the mobile numbers and social media links as well as supplemental email. Having all the data possible is the best to make sure you can communicate. Others might tell you they have the most up-to-date data but ZoomInfo truly does have this in addition, there are humans making sure the data is correct. Although automation is helpful, it's important to still have a human in place who can evaluate and think in a ways a machine never could.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting a contact/prospects direct phone number has always been a struggle. Without this if you call the main companies number rarely do you actually get connected with the person, you almost always get voicemail. With ZoomInfo you not only get their direct dial 90% of the time, you get their cell phone number. My ability to reach a prospect has increased 10x.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be afraid to call prospects on their cell phone. It's not awkward

old/dead numbers need to be cleaned and wiped out more thoroughly. Wish it had more cell phone numbers

Only problems are the occasional dead number. Extremely beneficial for direct contact with decision makers. Easy to maintain and organize all leads once imported. Wish it had more cell phone numbers.

One of the best account research platforms out there
What do you like best about the product?
I think that ZoomInfo does an excellent job of displaying company info, employee contact & hierarchy data, and information on what is going on inside of an account. I also like the ability to easily share employee/company lists, link data to SFDC, and immediately find contacts on LinkedIn directly from the contact card. The List Match function from an excel spreadsheet also makes finding your particular set of accounts an absolute breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often find the scoops can be very hit or miss. I'm not entirely sure where this data comes from, but I saw a scoop at a friend's company and wanted to test the validity of the information. I asked them if the information and main point of contact were correct. He heads out to the department in question. He knew nothing of the initiative that ZoomInfo stated and the person named was in marketing rather than IT. In other scenarios, I have found this information to be relatively spot on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding relevant contacts/companies, building out account sets for enterprise and territory sales, learning about what is going on inside of companies, strategizing on where to spend my time, and figuring out what systems a company is using. The platform is wonderful though it can be expensize. Scoops info aside, it is necessary for effective sales teams.
