Excellent Prospecting Tool

  • July 12, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy to find contacts within a company, I have found the success rate of the email addresses very high compared to other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally it is difficult to find contact details for companies in EMEA
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a useful tool to build prospecting lists, I have found my bounce rate on mail merges to be much lower fro using ZoomInfo.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn how to do the salesforce integration as this will improve the speed to make prospect lists

Cuts my prospecting time in half (at least!)

  • June 30, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy access to customer data, with plenty of valid emails and phone numbers available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some data is invalid or out of date, and sometimes when typing in a company name I get results that are from different companies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Avoiding gatekeepers, having easier access to my prospects, and having all of the data available in one easy place. We use a custom CRM so there are no integration options so we do a lot of manual entry so flipping through web pages can be difficult
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are a LOT of options out there for prospect info, so don't hesitate to shop around

Critical resource

  • May 30, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoominfo is a great resource for finding prospect phone numbers and email addresses. All in all, an indispensable starting point, but does not currently live up to all the promise.

When I had a large geographic territory, it's tools for filtering on company size, revenue, etc were very useful
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish the opportunity flashes worked (Not sure of the name. They are meant to tell you about the company's company's critical initiatives so you can target you messaging) but they tend to be out of date. I find the org charts dubious as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In conjunction with LinkedIn, I find ZoomInfo a valuable way identify clients that could potentially benefit from my offerings reducing my urge to blast my message to everyone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know what you want from the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
- Tellwise makes it simple to track your daily sales functions in Salesforce so you don't have to.
- Easily accessible analytics on email campaigns and outreach to help you find your most engaged prospects.
- Auto-dialer and voicemail recording capability are simple and easy to use inside Salesforce and Tellwise
- Intuitive design and easy of functionality + their support team always accessible for any questions or training.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Templates lack some intuitive integration with outlook and gmail email rendering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tellwise helps saves our organization a considerable amount of time with tracking of prospects and understanding level of engagement of each individual in our campaigns. I personally have found it has freed up a lot of my time allowing me to spend more time driving business and less time tracking my progress.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a simple tool to maximize your sales teams productivity through call and email campaigns --- this is a great program to track and manage level of interest.

Additionally, if you have any issues they are quick to listen and then work to work with you solve them. They are quick to jump at your suggestions often working to implement them quickly. They are always accessible for you even after you have made the decision to buy their software.

    Management Consulting

Solid customer success management, good product

  • May 09, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The customer service and customer success has been fast and responsive. Although they only add new accounts as fast as they can and do not specialize in smaller accounts (i.e. under 100 employees), I've found their intel to be very helpful on speeding up account penetration on larger accounts. I definitely use the product every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX could use a bit of work, but the customer success team that I've worked with at Discover.org (John and Alex) has definitely smoothed out the rough spots.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From an informal analysis, I've noticed that our total opportunity length is about 20% shorter, when Discover.org is a part of the opportunity, or at least that their data was available. I've also been able to take "pretty good quality" data from providers like Datanyze and merge it with Discover.org data with their team's help, and put together better account targeting. Essentially, Discover prevents me from wasting my own time, and that's why I print out their lists every day and use them. The main reason I'd recommend this product to another company is because their team is aware of the minor issues with their product but they've engaged in a process of continuous improvement
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to do a trial, and get a very clear picture of which accounts they can help you with, and which ones they cannot. Also, get a clear idea of which datasets you'll need and which ones you can skip. You'll also need to communicate your needs closely to their team so they can best help you.
