What do you like best about the product?
I have found that DiscoverOrg has a comprehensive database of IT Org charts throughout the US. I like that it includes direct dials to contacts which has greatly aided my sales role.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime there is some inaccurate contact details in DiscoverOrg but it is rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to build entire Org charts simply buy entering a client name. I am averaging several meetings a week utilizing the DiscoverOrg database.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great comprehensive database of entire IT ORG charts. If your selling into IT, you need this product.

What do you like best about the product?
I have found that it has the most accurate info - including emails/phone numbers/ addresses etc... I like the chart function for people within a company
What do you dislike about the product?
Dont' give an error message when a company is not part of your subscription. It looks like the tool is broken. Maybe even include a small number of commercial inquiries 50-100 when you are an enterprise subscriber

intel into target companies and potential prospects. THis is primarily used for info only for me.

If you service both mid-level and enterprise, you need separate licenses

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is incredibly easy to use and the data mostly reliable. The list building function is very useful, and the Salesforce.com plugin is great. The price point is right on compared to other similar services.
My team and I use Zoom on nearly a daily basis when new leads come in for validating data and adding additional data points to build out the profiles. This is very easy to do and allows us to make higher rates of contact with new prospects due to finding better email addresses and additional phone numbers. Being able to assess the company profile information also helps us to identify the best prospects and use our time most productively.
ZoomInfo is our go to tool for classifying leads by various categories, including size, geography, and industry. Also, being able to build lists using these same criteria has allow us to hone in on our ideal prospects and get in front of the best customers.

Like any database, some of the data gets out of date and the rate at which it is cleaned up is less than ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
List building is very easy with ZoomInfo and we are able to filter against our current database and lists we have previously pulled. The data appending feature is very useful as well, and the inline Salesforce.com integration makes it incredibly easy to use. Searching for additional contacts at target organizations is also an invaluable benefit.

You won't find a better service when comparing price and data quality.

What do you like best about the product?
In addition to contacts, you have access to additional information on some profiles that may not be available generally, intent and scoops are new features that can be leveraged
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost 30% of the email addresses were found to be incorrect. this is out of a database of about 5000... also job changes are not tagged while the same is updated on LinkedIn
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a good b2b database for me to cover procurement professionals globally. This helped in the US market not so much for the other regions.
Great Data Provider with a Great UX
What do you like best about the product?
I've worked with ZoomInfo at two companies so far and have tested their data vs other major data providers. By far they had the best contact rates (via phone) and email open and click rates on their data compared to other major data providers. ZoomInfo allows you to pull your own targeted lists and see the record count of contacts/companies meeting your criteria. Zoominfo also has an API which made them useful to append information to leads in real time as the submitted webforms. They also have been great to work with that a have bad email addresses and will refund you credits for any contacts that initially bounce. Overall, they have a great feature set and I frequently recommend them over data providers.
What do you dislike about the product?
While they do have a great backend, processing can take some time, which I think is understandable. Also to get the maximum return when using the API, we had to do several queries (off of domain, company, and then pairings of fields) to get the best match. It would be ideal if they build a forms plugin (similar to what DemandBase has) to do the queries and make it available to someone without dev resources.

We use ZoomInfo for real time data appending for improved lead scoring & targeted prospecting list building.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ask other vendors on how you will get the data. Ask other vendors what their reimbursement policy is on bad phone numbers/emails.
Use with caution, mostly good
What do you like best about the product?
In bigger cities 60,000 people and above, I think zoom is a good tool to start looking at a territory, usually has mostly correct contact information. I would say employee size is usually more accurate than revenue
What do you dislike about the product?
I would be cautious about some of the contacts for "owner operator" facilities as I've often run into someone who's retired or dead. Anything in smaller more rural towns is really hit or miss - and zoom doesn't do the best job at finding information here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has made it really easy to quickly spin up email campaigns in new territories, targeted at decision makers of owner operator facilities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're focusing on major cities (most major cities in any state are covered) I would say it's a great tool for an inside sales teams to get spun up on a new territory quickly. It is limited in being able to separate out "verticals"

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom Info is a great lead generation tool. It is easy to use and has great data integrity.
We find use for Zoom Info in several ways:
- The tool helps us build our top of the funnel lead generation by providing us with e-mail addresses and phone numbers.

Zoom Info can supplement its company information to provide more business intelligence (similar to what OneSource and the full scale Hoovers) provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are always trying to build our top of the funnel lead generation with relevant contacts that we can reach out to and get a discussion and relationship started. Zoom Info is an essential tool in helping us on this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at Zoom Info closely. While a lot of competitive lead generation tools have great business intel many times what you really want is a robust lead generation tool. If this is you, look at Zoom Info.

The quality of the data has improved vastly over the past few years and is now probably the best resource for this kind of data out there barring much more expensive bases

there are many different ways to narrow down search results to get the best leads and information you can.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the revenue is off, and with that said, working for a company that sells a budgeting solution, our need for correct revenue amount is sometimes hard to work around. Also find that sometimes the phone number is a personal phone (home or cell) which results in a pretty angry lead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to connect with most of the people I have prospected and at the very least, their contact information is most of the time correct for me to be able to get through to them. Benefits are simple: I don't have to google lists and do all the manual legwork myself with the use of ZoomInfo.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool to fact check. Within any industry we have consistent turnover, and ZoomInfo allows us to keep up to date both from the internal customer support side and from a sales perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's almost TOO much information, which isn't a bad thing! There is the occasional bad email or phone number, but still one of the best sources for data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anyone can find a phone number and email address, but it's really helpful to find the correct contact. The fun really starts when you're able to piece the puzzle together find the needs of the client and help them solve that need.

Give the full edition a try. It's worth the cost, at least for us, so far.
