Great Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Up to date and easy to transfer contacts and accounts into your CRM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the the information will not match up with our CRM (Salesforce) and will not let us export. Codes have to be the same and can be tedious to change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting in touch with new prospects and getting contact info for these leads.
Fast and useful//Accurate enough
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with CRM to directly import contact information. Robust dataset.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hiccups with extension and connectivity. Outdated or incorrect information is a nuisance too.

Understanding organizational structures at different firms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great and fast tool for anyone looking to fill a sales, marketing or outreach pipeline. It comes in handy when navigating large/complex organizations and for finding decision makers at all levels. The caveat, however, is that you can't really solely on the data in Zoom. My suggestion is to always double check people's LinkedIn or website to verify they are still with the org.

the accuracy is beyond any other tool
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would not think twice, this should be the first tool you purchase. It has the most accurate information for every contact you could be looking for in real time. There is not one that compares. You are able to sort through company teams and find contacts that I could not even find on Linkedin. They have incredibly accurate addresses, emails, cell phone, and direct office lines. Zoominfo (the basic version) does not even get close to the accuracy of Discover. The usability is insanely easy to navigate. I have had nothing but an extremely positive experience using this tool and I would recommend it for any organization looking to invest in a better product.
It has been wonderful to have everything in a web based program.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which I can create leads for the sales team. The pure volume that I get from Zoominfo is much higher and a lot faster than any other way of creating leads for the sales team. I love that the program is web based, and therefore easier to access from any location. Being web based has also made it easier to show and share information between me and my manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that ZoomInfo 2.0 was better able to link with Salesforce to check for duplicate leads. Currently I am having to use the older version of Zoom info in order to do a duplication check with Salesforce. Zoominfo 2.0 has a much better user interface, and has much better search engine optimization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The increase in leads is really solving problems for the sales team. They are able to contact leads at a much higher volume than previously thought possible. This has lead to more sales, and to finding more pertinent leads to pursue. Being able to see a simplified breakdown of information on the search page has made it a lot easier to find the exact contact the sales team is looking for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get as much from it as you can, because it's awesome. If you are looking for a way to get a large boost in leads for your company, Zoominfo is the best way for you to do that.

Sales Experience from ZoomInfo
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is a great data platform that allows me to find out the contact information (emails, phone numbers, and location) of prospects and customers for the accounts that I work. It has highly accurate data and integrates into our CRM with extreme ease. I think that ZoomInfo should be a basic necessity for most sales organizations that focus on outbounding to generate pipeline and close revenue. They're UI is great and the ability to create outreach to hundreds of organizations and prospects is seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes ZoomInfo has incorrect data, but this isn't too much of an issue since this is common amongst most sales data platforms. Another issue I have with ZoomInfo is their crediting system. ZoomInfo provides credits per user per month and it puts limitations on how many prospects a rep can reach out to in a given month. For event outreach, outbound campaigns, and other forms of mass communication, either get a high number of credits or use another platform to obtain contact information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we are trying to face is gathering mass data for prospective outreach. I've realized these benefits when we're running outbound campaigns to gage market interest in certain products, use cases, or services that my company provides. ZoomInfo does a great job sorting by relevance, location, seniority, and verification date. ZoomInfo has saved me hours for these types of mass outreach and I really don't know where I would get email data if I didn't use ZoomInfo or their parent company, DiscoverOrg.
A Salesman's Dream
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I can segment and filter on so many different areas such as technology. It also is so easy to use and manage. The interface is very professional looking. The upsides are almost limitless. From a traditional doorknocking cold-calling system where you are asking for business cards just to get a point of contact are lost in the olden days. This is the present and future system that will truly change the sales world as we know it. Today is all about inter-connectivity and relationship building. By being able to go to the exact person, title, and company that I want, I truly can have an organized seamless platform that can take my sales career to new heights.
What do you dislike about the product?
the credits. Seems very tack-onish when we are already spending so much money to even utilize this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of having to cold call so many different prospects to find different contact info or emails. It allows me to start prospecting from day one with emails and phone calls instead of spending time trying to find their info.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think you really have to take a deep dive in how you are currently prospecting. Yes, this may be a lot of money up front, but look at the ROI and the work that your sales people and marketing do. This makes their job 100x easier because it allows you to start prospecting right away instead of wasting time trying to find info. Truly a blessing to have this as part of your organization.
A diverse database for finding your next prospect.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has tons of data to help you find your next prospect. There are tons of filters so you can be as broad or specific as you want when searching for customers to target. You are able to export lots of data so that you can reach out to people quickly and efficiently. Zoom is super easy to use and understand so as soon as you sign up you can easily find people to target.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom has been great so far. The only issue I have had is incorrect customer data sometimes. I would say between 10 and 20% of emails I send get an auto return for incorrect contact info or for the wrong contact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only problems I have had have been out of date contact info. Often times when I email prospects they have changed roles or the email is automatically sent back. The benefits of Zoom have been huge. I am very easily able to export tons of prospect data and email blast prospects. Zoom opens up tons of opportunities for sales and is super easy to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You learn by using the system. It is easy to understand how to use Zoom so just try playing around with the system and all the filters. There are so many different filters you can use to narrow down your search and help you find prospects you would never have though of. Sign up now and you will quickly realize the benefits.
ZoomInfo: Efficient and Effective
What do you like best about the product?
I find ZoomInfo to be incredibly powerful when it comes to prospecting companies based on certain filters and characteristics that would match specific industries or niche companies that could value the services my company provides. This helps me make my money and makes my prospecting and outreach activities very efficient and fluid.
The ability to find leads that are quality is truly fantastic and makes it a pretty easy process. As you may know, in sales, a lot of time can be put into prospecting activity and without a solid tool, the information you're receiving can be wrong or suggestive of something that really isn't true. With ZoomInfo, a lot of the information is correct. I especially love how they list the company locations, the annual revenue, the number of employees (as that is something that plays into my companies Rules of Engagement), who the people actually are at the company (as this helps me figure out who the appropriate contact might be that I need to speak with), as well as a plethora of other information that is helpful for my sales processes.

There is occasional misinformation happens with Zoom but it's easy to get around especially when you pair this program with LinkedIn Sales Nav. That's a fantastic duo.
At the same time, I do know that it's difficult to list every company on the map or around the world.. however, I've run into instances where I come across a company or a brand that I would like to prospect (in an organic way) and I often find it easy to load them into the CRM via zoom but that particular company may not be there at all. I wish there was some sort of way to suggest that they load them into the system so I don't have to manually input all of the information into the CRM myself and I could find some extra insight on the company once I've done that.

I am finding people who travel for business as we provide business travel services. The fact that ZoomInfo shows company locations, an overview of their business practices as well as a lot of other information makes my job easier.
I was introduced to zoom this past year working for the company I am currently employed with. The insight they provide me makes prospecting (which can be very tedious and time consuming) a seamless part of my day when I need to find new leads/contacts etc. I really would be having a more difficult time making contact with these people were it not for Zoom.

Try to find all of the different ways that can help you achieve what you're looking to achieve. It didn't occur to me until a few months of using the platform that the spot where it lists the variety of competitors could be very useful for my prospecting! It is actually my preferred platform for prospecting new leads and potential clients as there is so much information provided to us and in a very easy to use format.
