Finding contacts

  • August 20, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It used to be difficult to find the contact information for key contacts at prospects. With Zoom info I can put the website in and do a search for the email and phone numbers needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't uncovered anything I didn't like at this point. Sometimes the titles aren't correct or the people I'm looking for but usually not that far off

ZoomInfo is better than the Rest

  • August 19, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using ZoomInfo because it has detailed information about the companies I'm researching and has updated information. I like that you're able to see what type of software they're currently using and have used in the past. This will allow me to speak intelligently to their current pros and cons of what they're currently using to what they could be using.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest dislike about ZoomInfo is sometimes it won't show all the employees that work at the company and won't have the appropriate title. This can be an issue of it doesn't track the the employee's current job and is year old in the data it contains. Whether they're still at the company in question, have changed roles or if said company has been acquired. Zoominfo's data can be extremely helpful, however when it's out of date, it's worse than no data have data that is no longer current.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem I'm solving with ZoomInfo is reaching the correct people at the company I'm trying to speak with. One of the biggest benefits is the ability to get the best contact information for the prospects I'm finding on ZoomInfo. Having their email address, phone number, cell phone number and company headquarters is extremely useful. Also having a the company structure and hierarchy layout take a lot the guess work out of your research.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Using ZoomInfo is much easier and more intuitive than their competitors. I would definitely recommend to other needing software that helps give them company and employee info.

Great platform that allows you to filter customer information that works best for you.

  • August 19, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The multiple filters that allow you to specifically target a certain customer or market. In addition you can filter the results so you can pull the top contacts for a company. Helps with narrowing down your search for the main point of contact. It also allows you to get all the contact info for a specific customer such as email, main business phone number, a personal phone number, and what role the customer plays within the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The various steps you need to take to pull data and abstract the information. It double dips on your credits because you have to pay to run the query and then you have to filter it again which redeems more credits just so I can pull it into excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
getting customer contact information as oppose to cold calling and wasting time. It also allows me to search customer contact info and cross reference it with the internal systems that I use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
its a great tool to use for prospecting customers. I've learned that it's more ideal to segment customers by zipcodes because it makes organizing things easier.

Makes prospecting easy

  • August 19, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it saves me hours a week in prospecting. I don't have to dig around a companies website to find relevant prospects. I can get their title, phone number and email in seconds!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the contact info isn't up to date but I understand it's tough to get 100% accuracy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest impact Zoom has had on my work is that it allows me to prospect 3x as many people in an hour so I can spend more time on contacting and less time on research.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Saves time every day, definitely worth it

Review of Zoominfo after 18months with the Tool

  • August 19, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is a fantastic prospecting tool and seems to work well even with different workflow processes. This is the 3rd company I have been at that uses it and I can see improvements over the last 18 months. When I first started using Zoominfo, some of the contacts with similar titles (executive assistants) would have the same phone number -- this problem seems to be fixed.

In addition, our Salesforce database is much cleaner with Zoominfo working in the background to cleanup missing pieces from inbound leads.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really only have two issues:

1: The website can be a bit slow at times, especially when exporting leads to Salesforce.
2: It would be nice to have a way to search employees from the company tab. Usually when prospecting we start at the company level, then drill down to job title.I can click "people" within the company tab, but filtering by "operations, finance, etc" can be tedious when prospecting larger company. A search option within the company tab would be helpful, otherwise you have to search the company, add the tab to the top, then click into prospects and search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This comes in two parts:

1: maintaining our database integrity by letting Zoominfo clean up inbound leads. These prospects come to us by a limited form they fill-out on the website. This works well to make it easy for them to speak with us, but comes at the expense of missing data (revenue, address, job title).

2: Zoominfo is the best outbound prospecting tool we have. I am a SDR, so I work a lot with the outside reps to target certain companies they would like to speak with. If they go into the building for a cold-walkin and get a name, I can go on Zoominfo and find their contact info so we can follow up with them. Zoominfo is also great for finding companies by revenue and zipcode.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would always to try find an area to prosepect and drill-down from there. This may be by zip code, revenue, job title, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is just really easy to use - I don't spend a lot of time hunting down the information I'm looking for
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't login - this might be an AT&T issue though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting has never been easier

Efficient Prospecting Tool with Accurate Informtion

  • August 19, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a marketing coordinator, ZoomInfo is an invaluable tool when it comes to gathering specific data and contact information for companies and industries. The interface is extremely user friendly and the ratio of available, correct information much outweighs the information which is not listed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the export process. I wish there was an easy way to export a saved list of information, or to select certain contacts from that list to export with filtered names, titles, addresses, emails and phone numbers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding the RIGHT contacts at a business! Often times it's difficult to find C-level contacts, real estate contacts, etc. ZoomInfo's filters narrow that all down for me, allowing me to quickly find exactly who I'm looking for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For those looking to use ZoomInfo, I highly recommend taking advantage of the trial run and customer support, who were very thorough when our company was first exploring the software. Overall, there are a few learning curves when it comes to searching and turning up the right information, but very easy to get the hang of.
