Prospecting is streamlined with effective backend tools, but data accuracy requires enhancement

What is our primary use case?

I primarily use ZoomInfo for prospecting.

What is most valuable?

The best features are all the tools on the back end that help me filter for the prospects that I'm trying to reach. It saves me a lot of time and enables me to book more meetings, generating more opportunities for our sales team and therefore more revenue.

What needs improvement?

ZoomInfo could improve data accuracy.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using ZoomInfo for about three years.

What other advice do I have?

I would advise others to go for it. I would rate the overall solution a six out of ten.

Much Needed Insight

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo Sales provided a much-needed insight into our service market buyer intent search activity and the key decision makers in those organizations. I typically use this program daily, and it is always open in my browser. It integrated well into our Hubspot CRM and Outlook email.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no dislikes about ZoomInfo Sales. I like all the info it gives me that I don't see any other way to get. It consequently has a lot of complexity and takes time to fully utilize all the features. Fortunately, the Client Onboarding Team assigned to me did a very good job of understanding the unusual aspects of our business and helping me set everything up to fit our needs, and the Client University helps me learn best practices to apply all these features. Any limitations seem to be in the learning 'how to' use the program. Not the program and the underlying data itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me identify and qualify unknown prospective organizations, identify decision-makers for our services, and then the AI tool creates unique, well-crafted introduction messages specific to any of 12 different service offerings that prospects are researching.

The second major value for me is in monitoring my large list of target prospects for relevant intent searches, since I had no visibility into their readiness to purchase our services without ZoomInfo Sales and would have had to resort to blind cold calls. It also provided key decision-makers in those organizations for my prospecting efforts.

The third benefit for me was 'websights' -- reports on organizations that had visited our website and details of their activity. We had no tool for this, and it was a bonus that ZoomInfo offered that insight as well. For contacts already in our CRM, I understand that it will now also indicate who visited our website. That will be a nice addition, but I have not benefited from it yet.

Integration with our HubSpot CRM was seamless, and I had no issues with that. ZoomInfo has been key in adding the correct contacts into Hubspot.

What do you like best about the product?
Data provided it timely and relevant. Very easy to use, great interface. Launch was very seamless, great team. Customer support team and reps are very responsive.

Nothing comes to mind, I like all aspects of the tool and support
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Market knowledge has expanded greatly this was a blind spot.

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for ZoomInfo is to help me with prospecting into accounts and getting contact information. It also enables me to quickly import contacts into SalesLoft.

What is most valuable?

The best features that ZoomInfo offers include the integration with LinkedIn which is one of the best features because that means when I'm prospecting and researching, I can easily find the right contacts. I also love the feature that enables me to see who's more likely to respond via email or via call. It's not always 100% accurate but it helps me level up and do the right method of outreach to the right person.

Additionally, I love the integration features that I can easily integrate with the software that I need such as SalesLoft, so I can quickly import the contacts.

ZoomInfo positively impacts my organization because it helps us do prospecting which in turn helps us get meetings, opportunities and revenue.

What needs improvement?

I think ZoomInfo can be improved because their number accuracy is still an issue. It's not specific to ZoomInfo; it's the same across the board with competitors. I can call up numbers and they can be incorrect, or sometimes the emails might not work, so even though it's great software, there's still errors with the contact information they're providing.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using ZoomInfo for about six months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

ZoomInfo is super stable in my experience. It's very reliable and easy to use.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

ZoomInfo's scalability is great because you can use it with as many different users as you want and everyone has the same functionality, so it's fully scalable.

How are customer service and support?

I don't know how ZoomInfo's customer support is, as I've never needed to call them.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I didn't use a previous solution before.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup with ZoomInfo is super easy because you just log in with the account and then you're good to go. It's a very straightforward mechanism.

What was our ROI?

I've seen a return on investment with ZoomInfo because it definitely saves me hours of work when I'm prospecting in terms of the ability to quickly get the data and import it where I need.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing ZoomInfo, we evaluated other options as an organization. We looked at things such as Lusha. However, I'm not the decision maker, so this wasn't a decision that I made. That was done by senior management.

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others looking into using ZoomInfo is to make sure that whatever software you're onboarding has the integrations that you need, the usability and also the most accurate data.

On a scale of 1-10, I rate ZoomInfo an 8 out of 10.

I love Websights and the daily Signals email to show who is in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
i wouldn't say I dislike anything. It has taken some time to get in the groove of using it efficiently and effectively. I do wish you could get an account fit score with less than 50 results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting good contact info and providing an automated email platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I highly recommend ZoomInfo Sales, as they have been extremely thorough in their approach to onboarding and training. Our company gets the best leads through the copilot function, as well as intent searching and daily sales target account lists. We are extremely impressed!
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be wonderful to have a dashboard type of approach when doing sales outreach via copilot. It is difficult to toggle through to each individual lead to see what emails and calls you have made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us vet out new leads in minimal time; help with finding the right target accounts and daily updates via email. It has been a fantastic tool added to our toolbelt at our company. Very pleased with the customer service and account management assistance. We love using ZoomInfo Sales!

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of set up and learning a new tool, with an amazing onboarding process and support, was the start to my appreciation for this tool. Then being able to use it on a daily basis as part of my personalized sales process made so much of my prospecting easier to not only do itself, but to document and follow up. The ability to sync with our CRM and have that seamless implementation from the very start let me work as I learned. Now I can't imagine not having it to use.

So far I love it and can't think of anything I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The product I am "selling" is a very niche service and this tool allows me to drill down to the appropriate businesses and contacts to reach out to. And allows to me create a process or cadence of prospecting leads with knowledge and resources to utilize in multiple engagements (all assisted and tracked for me).
