What do you like best about the product?
There are so many things to like about DiscoverOrg. I love how narrow you can get with your results. It also shows complete org charts so you can see who reports to who. The data isn't perfect, but it's probably more reliable than any other tool I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as phone numbers, titles, emails, etc. - that is all pretty accurate. However, we sent out a number of letters and got a significant amount of "return-to-senders." That was kind of weird to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am on an outbound sales team so prospecting into new companies and speaking with new people is everything. Being able to download a report in seconds is a game changer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
DiscoverOrg allows you to purchase different packages in terms of title/department/role. For our organization, we went with the finance package. This gives us access to people at organizations with the finance, controller, CFO, accounting, etc. titles. If you are looking for all titles, it could get pricy. Since we're very niche on one particular vertical, it makes a lot of sense to focus on one package.

What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the data. The contact info along with the data relating to company size is very helpful when it comes to booking quality customer meetings that lead to closed deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I prefer the user interface on DiscoverOrg that allows you to open a company page in a separate tab. Would be great if you could add that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More meetings set and more revenue closed.
Amazing sales resource
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of ZoonInfo is getting all of the contacts and information needed to break into an account, that I wouldn't have the availability to have otherwise. It has gotten me past gatekeepers and right to the person I need to talk with.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, the only thing I can think of is the price. It is pretty expensive and a large investment for our company, but it seems to have a good ROI, considering the sales we will likely get from the resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting past gate keepers, that has been and will always been a struggle for a sales team.

I would say if you are having trouble reaching contacts within large organizations, you will benefit from this.

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is very useful in finding prospects for marketing opportunities. Very good! A+
What do you dislike about the product?
ZoomInfo's data is sometimes misplaced. I will have to go to Linkedin to get the name of the owner or marketing manager and then go back to plug it into zoom. Then the data will pop up. Not sure why every contact is placed into the right category/company

Zoominfo is invaluable to sales. It's a great way to increase your contacts in CRM and prospecting for new possible sales. I've probably closed most of my sales from contacts i've found on zoominfo. its great!!!!!

OppAlerts are the best part of DiscoverOrg. The ability to see when companies are searching for solutions that you offer is amazing.

Price is a little high and the segmentation of data is a little screwy.

It gives you all the information you need to understand what type of company you are calling.

- triggers are useful to see what's going on, but would like more updates

- layout of the orgchart; can't export in a pdf format but like that I can pull their contacts in excel format as well (so don't get rid of that)

What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the data and the responsiveness and professionalism of the DiscoverOrg team if anything is incorrect and needs to be fixed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small additions like adding the location of the employee to the details on the main page would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
time savings!! It would take me forever to even figure out company email formats and the ability to have all of that data, phone numbers, corp hierarchy, etc. at my fingertips is a huge win.

It's been a huge time saver for me and allows me to focus more on strategy and messaging rather than spending countless hours finding contact info.

What do you like best about the product?
DO is very easy to use for searching on a contact, a specific company, or creating lists from an advanced search.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more intel specific to my industry and what I am selling. The technology section is not very accurate especially is security where you have some many new solutions coming out. I have discovered incorrect data quite often. It would also be great if we could get information on upcoming projects and if there is budget. Today you have to be in the right place at the right time and outreach needs to be targeted. The days of sending out mass emails and trying to get some one to pick up the phone cold are pretty much gone so specific intel is becoming much more critical.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly I use it for org charts, direct contact information, details about the company revenue, business, etc.

Again, not sure how you would be successful in any kind of sales without a tool like Discover Org. I love it!

Some companies and contacts are not listed, mainly new companies and smaller technology customers. Sometimes have to refresh app to get ti to work (during searches)

prospecting and finding contact info for leads, updating our database with accurate or missing contact and or company details
